Why wouldn't yahoo keep growing when there's no job anywhere? Many people are out there with no jobs. Not everybody participate in internet fraud because it promises flamboyant lifestyle. Some joined to be able to take care of their bills. Or do you think its easy to just find someone out there who's gonna help you with your bills? Now a days, people don't even give people jobs. Do you know yahoo is actually one of those engagement ( I don't wanna use job because it ain't a job ) that keeps the economy running? An average civil servant or non government worker will walk to a store and start negotiating prices with the intent of cutting cost while reducing the profit of the struggling sellers. But these boys, they go there and spoil the seller. The only readily available jobs for these less privileged people with little of no connection is to work as a casual worker in a factory. Most of these factories don't care for them. All they worry about is their output. Every mistakes leads to deduction in salary and every protest leads to getting sacked. Why is this happening? Because there are other struggling youths out there who wouldn't mind being treated like an animal. Does anyone pray for this? I'm not saying this as a justification of the crime but no matter how we think about it, this is as a result of a failed state. Same thing with the current situation in the north. ( although that's on some extreme level ). Any which way, crime should be shunned as what matters most in life is the future just tryna make us see these whole thing form other perspective. Sometimes, there's limit to hopefulness, tolerance, faith and perseverance. |

Good afternoon fellow Nairalnders! Please guys I need your advice as regards somewhat private matter. As a result, I'll keep everything concise but without withholding necessary information. I'm an orphan from a polygamous family who lives with his step mom, step siblings and siblings. We live together in our father's house after he passed away. Growing up, people always praise me for whatever I do probably because I do it so well and received unconditional love from them. And sometimes even pray for me for my attitude. Fast forward to the event that prompted this topic. My step mom's attitude seems choking and annoying. She has positioned every of her children strategically to watch whatever I do and start doing the same. They attend similar school I graduated from, offer the same course, watch my favourite programs and even currently learning my handiwork. Here's the most annoying part, when I was struggling, I felt OK this is probably happening to me because I'm not close to God and because of my sin ( I'm keeping that private ) so I became more devout. I'm a Muslim, so I started observing solat, reciting the Quran and sometimes memorises it. When she found about this, she also instructed her children to start going to Arabic class even though they had already graduated from one. So my question is, what could have been her real reason for doing that? And what do I do concerning the situation? |

Learning a handiwork is a red flag! Like most people have rightly said, you have a handiwork already. If you want to quit because you are currently experiencing low patronage, why don't you find out why first? Or do you know what future awaits the new handiwork you want learn at this moment? Any of the following could be the reason for your current situation: 1. You still use crude tools 2. Your designs are out of vogue 3. Perhaps you have limited your skills to making only tables, piggy banks, and chairs. 4. Your environment 5. Do you actually always meet customers expectations in terms of services? If your problem is in any of the aforementioned causes, then you should invest all the money into your current business. The only handiwork you need now is further carpentry training if you lack knowledge about some certain modern design. |
You've made a very good point with your write up. So there's little or nothing more to say but I'd love to make some contribution. Funny how some people think formal education is overrated in Nigeria. But I can boldly tell you its not. For individual growth in Nigeria, both formal and informal education is important. However, how far we can go with either of the two depends on our financial strength. So if you can afford both simultaneously, I would suggest you go for both. We all know the how competitive getting a high paying job is in Nigeria. So why wouldn't you seek for alternative? Or as a business management graduate whose father doesn't a own a company, you think someone is just gonna make you the general manager of their company? No way! Why don't you start as the CEO of your own company? Formal education is like an eye opener. With the help of formal education, you can easily pick up valuable information about skills acquired from your informal education. For instance, as a fashion designer, you can get yourself books from other countries and consume it and add the information to your preexisting pool of knowledge. And trust me, its gonna help you business wise. I think the best way to make it in Nigeria is to be the ruler of both worlds as neither of the two is superior in comparison to the other. |
Men stand to gain a lot of benefits from marriage. The big question now is to what extent? Respect: As a married man, people will start to see you as someone who is responsible. Whether you like it or not, people will start respecting you because of your new social status (married man). Meal: Do you know waking up every morning and coming back home after a long day at work to eat your favorite meal is one of the greatest feelings? I know some would say you can easy get it from the canteen or side chick, but it will never be at par with the one prepared by someone you've committed yourself to. Children: Wait, did I just hear someone say baby daddy? As much as some people would love to raise their kids independently, trust me, there's great significance in raising the children together (husband and wife) as each parent have some particular roles peculiar to them in the life of their children. I didn't say bills and sex here because after a close look, you would discover these has already been subtly included as their can be no responsibility without bill same thing with sex and children. The most important thing we should just pray and work hard for as a man is a good wife and strong financial base. As much as marriage is important, it shouldn't be made a priority when you're still struggling. |
Omoh what if the "bad road" story is actually a cover up story for the actual reason. To avoid getting kidnapped! You sey if that happens, naija don cast be that oh. |
Individual interests differ! Same thing that makes me attracted to young lady might make another person find a older person attractive. But in general, older woman are more matured, experienced and independent. And believe those reasons should be enough. |
They've been through a lot, so they sure deserve the best of the best. However, its not how far but how well! All that matters now is utilization and proper maintenance. |
Oh well, I think anything can still be named Omotola but not OMOTOLA. This has to do with the way the name is being put in printed form I guess. |
Kiddwaya was tryna tease katrina with a kiss to check if he's got the natural appeal he has over many girls on her and Katrina fell for it. You can tell from the video that she wasn't reluctant when Kidd tryna kiss her. Kidd still my favorite nigga! |

The thirst for more and more money is unquenchable bruh. Most people's love for lust or sexual acts decline with experience and age. |
What can we say other than to watch and see how things unfold? But they should let peace reign! |
Well, the panel of inquiry should visit the hospital since that will expedite the whole process. Or why should the investigation be prolonged any further? |

The lies surrounding corona case in Nigeria is becoming apparent day by day!!! |
They should be recruited but most not be included in any strategic decision making. |
Trust me, all the governors might not be in support of the decision to back Tinubu's comment as regards the Amotekun issue, but this is very good for the yorubas. This will tell other tribes that the yorubas are one. I mean you don't just wash your dirty linen outside, do you? If they had issued a statement that contradicts that of Tinibu, there would definitely be speculations that there's is polarization among yoruba bigwigs and this is not good for the polity. This is purely a welcome political statement. We yorubas must come together as one if we are to achieve our dream come 2023. The Afenifere is one group in Yoruba land that urgently needs reorientation. Mind you, I'm an advocate of one Nigeria. My statement here might be referring to Yoruba as a tribe but that doesn't mean i don't believe in one Nigeria God bless the southwest governors! God bless PMB!! God bless Nigeria!!! One love!!! |
Perhaps Sanwolu should also close Lagos' boder? Sorry this isn't my handwriting o, my phone was hacked... |

I'm not so surprised! What you expect in a country where entertainment gets more attention than education? |
