agabusta:Am so happy you also noticed that the "twitter senator", who like a Nightingale bird, disturbed our peace on how he was going to expose the senators only to go there and join the cue with his common sense syndrome with which he deceives the gullible. |
Saraki is showing Nigerians why he deceitfully sought after that office against the wish of his party. |
Just thinking... instead of hanging this man, why not inject the blood of a lassa fever infected rat so he can rest in peace. I don't want to wake up and hear that another Rev King has reincarnated ooo. |
I pity for Nigeria. Why is that each time a person is incarcerated for the offence committed, we either bring tribal sentiments into it or ask that others be dragged into it. Hence, you hear things like "what about Mr A or B, have they been punished?" We forget that sometimes we need to set example with one single person so others could learn or take caution when they want to indulge in such crime. The truth is that Nigerians have so institutionalized corruption such that evil has become a norm in every home. That's ridiculous! |
For the first time, I feel like addressing Dasuki as a fool. |
Good for him but just hope he doesn't act and behave like an Infact-Infactino...lol |
lookandlaff:Your analysis by implication posit that you don't believe in goodness but only have faith in evil; that's why you generalise that everyone in the Nigerian society is enshrined in the act of corruption. I'm not saying that am righteous or holier than thou as you put it but my point is that in any corrupt ridden society, there are people whose lives are not under the dictates of societal vices. Our political landscape has remained the same over the years because of the bad culture of succession and godfatherism and not that the society is enmeshed with only but corrupt elements. |
fearless2014:Hahahaha...I feel your frustration already, clown. Keep wailing. |
I disagree with you on the argument that nylon used for packaging sachet water is imported. In Asaba where i stay, i know of many companies that manufacture the nylon used in packaging sachet water. Besides, from your report, almost all the states in the north still sell at the normal price of N70 or N100 per bag and N5 or N10 per sachet. Does it therefore means that the Northern States don't incur the costs you just enumerated? |
lookandlaff:Don't you think you should rather speak for yourself or are you by implication saying you are a thief? Its a pity and shameful to see a young man talk this way. Its only a criminal that will not believe that as corrupt as this country is, there are people who are clean. Nobody is forcing Saraki to resign, that's why the issue is in court. Resigning willingly is a thing of the conscience and its more honourable that's if he has a conscience, anyway. A child who antagonises his father, should not expect a rollercoaster relationship with his father. How can you murder sleep and still want have a sound sleep? Saraki betrayed his party for his selfish interest. Now is payback time. |
Make Pat Utomi minister of finance today, all he claims to know would be thrown to the dogs and he will hide to gather his national cake. I've seen the likes of him in Ben Bruce. Those who know Bruce so well will attest to the fact that he was always critical of every government in power, promising heaven on earth till he got to the Senate and the table turned as he joined the looters only to turn around and invent the 'common sense' syndrome to deceive and distract the gullible. So, Utomi, it is either you wait for your turn or you be a gentleman if you can't criticise professionally. |
Saraki should stop talking balderdash and check his conscience. Why should a government you are part of turn around to persecute, witch hunt and vilify you if you do not have some cockroaches in your cupboard? He who goes to equity, must have a clean hand. A toad doesn't run in a hot afternoon for fun. |
Bad advertising. The pictorial message is unnecessary. |
asuustrike2009:Go to Alaba int'l market or Onitsha main market and ask Alhaji Issah or chief Dubem why he sells his LG TV set at exorbitant rates while every other person sells at a normal price. Maybe you should also ask multichoice or DSTV why they keep increasing their charges without corresponding measures to justify those charges. We bought the same bag of rice at the same cost and you come back and fix your selling price far above mine just to make excess gain, thereby causing economic hardship for some people only to come back and blame Jonathan or Buhari. I believe that government can commit economic blunders but sometimes we aggravate through greed. That's my point. |
fearless2014:When a tout or fish seller talks, the ooze of freshness fades. I'm not surprised because I've met your types at newspaper stands and motor parks. People like you always argue from your canal knowledge, myopic and restricted understanding. |
Though an APC supporter, I think I subscribe to Uba's opinion. |
Nigerians are funny. What's all these hype? In America, a governor walks in the street unnoticed just like every other citizen. In England, a mayor goes to work on a passenger train and nobody sees him as a god. But in Africa, especially in Nigeria, a governor steps his foot on the ground, we clap and praise them as if he is supposed to stay inside his car while doing the job you elected and pay him to do for you. |
fearless2014:Go back to school and learn elementary economics so you can stop brandishing your ignorance in public. Must you attribute everything to politics? Not every economic problem is caused by PDP and APC, sometimes it is caused by YOU. |
Yes, I agree with GEJ, PDP will bounce back but certainly not with him as president. |
Its a murder. The distance between the place the blood stain is located and where the corpse is, says it all. Besides, if its a suicide, the gun will not stuck on the victim's hand like that. Again, the way the items in the room are scattered shows the victim struggled with the murderer before he eventually over powered him. |
I know it'll go into records that the project gulped billions of dollars instead of millions of naira. #RememberTopeAluko. |
Wike, you are neither GCFR nor Commander in Chief of the Armed forces. |
Though an APC supporter, I think its long overdue. Lai Mohammed lacks the charisma and professional savvy to manage Nigeria's information system. Another minister that should be placed on watch, is that of finance. |
Sponsored write up. By this your biased opinion, you are struggling to convince your apologists that a country which some 'fools' took fifteen years to destroy, can be fixed in one year. That's a complete lie. Only liars will believe that, not even when the oil price which we depended so much on, is taking a nosedive. Buhari is making effort to fix the rot and by implication, Nigerians shouldn't expect a rossy-cruise kind of life until the economy is diversified and fixed. Besides, since 1999, only one political party has managed the affairs of this country. A different party just took over about 8 months ago, you expect them to perform some magic and turn the country into Paradise. |
Not every success comes from God and hard work. God's kind of blessings cause no sorrow. Some people will stop succeeding the moment they stop making sacrifices to the devil who gives them wealth. Just thinking... |
The senate know what they are doing...its all politics. Remember the 'juicy committee' saga. All they do is raise a controversial matter just to draw the attention of the companies or individuals affected so they can come offer them huge bribe in 'Ghana must go' bag. Thereafter, the matter dies a natural death and the masses who have short memories(I beg your pardon), will forget and never talk about it again. What a country! |
E be like say Mexicans and Indians use Telemundo and Zworld swear for Nigerian ladies oo |
kITATITA:Thank you my brother for saying this. The truth is that some people allow sentiments to becloud their sense of reasoning. They seem to have forgotten that corruption is the reason why Nigeria is poor admits plenty. Until we tame corruption first in Nigeria, nothing will work perfectly. |
No, trouser is not good but pant is the best. Wear only pant and bra and the job will be yours I swear. |
Has he graduated from "common sense" senator to "made in Nigeria car" senator? I ask because I learnt he bought Innoson car the other day. I'm most disappointed in this senator. All the noise he made before his election into the Senate was nothing but a hogwash. |
Goke7:"Approved by national assembly not house of assembly", I guess you mean. Yes, I am very much aware but don't forget that they have been working the supplementary budget of the previous administration. Besides, that's not the basis of my assertion. I have taken time to study the body language of the above mentioned ministers and discovered that even with the budget at their disposal, they have little or nothing to contribute in this administration. While they wait for budgets to get to work, I believe they also need to manage the administrative aspect of their office to save this government an embarrassment. |
Aribisala or whatever his name is, is a bad journalist; the worst I've seen in the recent past. He is not just a disgrace to the profession but a callous writer who only believes that good journalism is all about airing one's opinion only when your palm has been greased. |
