There should be no time wasting on these fraudsters. While they await trial, just get them into some farm, give them hoe and cutlass, make them work their a$$ off to understand how to earn money through hard work.

When we tell you that Nigeria isn't ripe for democracy, una go dey make noise. i still maintain that all we need in Nigeria is one ethical and moral but ruthless Autocrat to come and treat everyone's Bleep up. If this story is true, imagine the effrontery the Governor has to disregard rules just to have his way. Una go turn around now to blame Buhari for una problem, why is the Governor so desperate to have the State assembly under his pocket, is't it a ploy to rule the state as an Authoritarian? he doesn't want to be checked.

Wetin be your own? Isn't it between her and her God? Why are you guys judging? Despite all the holy holy you guys portray in Nigeria, the country is the epicenter of corruption, so untrustworthy set of people. One wonders what they preach to you at your place of worship? You guys only do show off religion.
Yeah, i'll rather have the lady wear bikini and be kind, humane, and trustworthy rather than wear hijab but lie, cheat, backbite...etc

Politics / Re: INEC Announces Automatic Employment For Corpers by Akiika: 2:50pm On Jun 17, 2019
Majority of you so called youths on this forum are full of negativity. It's the reason you will continue to waste your money on data and time whining here. Your mates are distinguishing themselves getting employed, you are here blaming everyone else except yourself for your self-inflicting woes. Go ahead and create a conspiracy theory around it, you just told yourself success is out of your reach.

Arrogance, ignorance and xenophobia is a dangerous combination.

TooMuchStuff:
Yeye INEC /BuhariApC...!
They just don't want okorocha to spoil the show of shame. They don't want igbos to be principal officers of NASS.
It's now obvious that BuhariApC and INEC are one .

Oh, you guys are now rooting for okoro-awusa now?
Stop creating conspiracy theory out of everything. On the account of being a first time senator, Okorocha cannot be a principal officer. Court ordered he be given the certificate of return, it's why INEC just presented it to him.
It is Igbos' hate, bigotry and lack of political wisdom that leaves you guys out of the political equation.

How can an aboki be senate president, everything in Nigeria is Northerners that's not good at all, uneducated and illiterate people for that matter but the control everything in the country.. its just sad
You are ridiculously ignorant. What's with the stereotyping of the Hausa/Fulanis as uneducated and illiterates? Why do you igbo folks think you are somehow smarter or more educated than the Hausa/Fulani, it's so idiotic. With all your acclaimed wisdom, one albino (Nnamdi kanu) from oversea is directing your mindset and leading you to political oblivion. You should check the qualifications of the Hausas you claim are illiterate. You guys let hatred and bigotry scheme you out of the power equation. PDP sold islamisation and Fulanisation propaganda to you and you stupidly put your eggs in one basket. Why would you expect anyone to reward you with any of the NASS positions? you don't just have the number. If you don't change your hateful ways, you will continue to be irrelevant in Nigeria's politics. The BIAFRA nonsense will continue to be a mirage.

Democracy is not for Nigeria, we're not just matured for it. All we need is one ethically upright leader but an authoritarian, that will treat everyone's Bleep up. The 3 arms of government are failing. If you kill in broad daylight, you can buy an injunction not to be tried in this cursed country!

This once again shows the intellectual emptiness prevalent in our society. Gbaja was disciplined for his professional misconduct by the state bar upon voluntarily accepting discipline by state bar of Georgia. He was not criminally convicted for any crime. He repaid his client the $25K, so technically there was no crime. I don't understand the call for EFCC's investigation. You can argue that this remains a stain on his credibility, but he is not a criminal and qualified to run for Speakership.

Religion / Re: It's Better To Be An Atheist Than A Nigerian Christian Or Muslim - Man Says by Akiika: 5:54pm On May 22, 2019
Read! read!! read!!! ignorance is the problem of majority of Nigerians, even the so called educated but ignorant ones. Bagging some degree doesn't make you informed or ignorance proof. Knowledge is a continuum, you have to keep reading books to challenge your dogmatic and inherited beliefs. You inherited all the beliefs that shaped you perspectives in life, have you even considered researching to at least validate them? This is the reason it has become so easy for so called religious leaders to enslave you and collect your money to live life of opelence while you remain in poverty. They even put it in your head that you will go to hell if you dare to question how they spend your money. I hope the veil of ignorance is lifted off the eyes of Nigerians, i believe in God but religion has been bastardized in Nigeria.

Politics / Re: Dabiri Accused Of Playing Tribe Over Not Mentioning Names Of Arrested Fraudsters by Akiika: 3:32pm On Apr 30, 2019
I think tribal/religious bias & prejudice psychosis is a valid disease. A lot of Nigerians are unknowingly suffering from it. The truth is that nobody gain anything from neither tribal nor religious identity, yet folks get consumed in it on almost any issue. Your state governor, LG chairmen, and other local public office holders are all from your tribe, how come your community and your life is still in indecent level of poverty? That disease will not let you see that.

Here is the real problem with our youths. Nobody cares to ask what this guy does. The Dangotes, Bill gates, Jeff Bezos don't go out flaunting their money like this, we know them by their organization's earnings. It's hard to believe that someone earning money in a legit way will be wasting it in this manner. It's why folks believe a female underwear, human parts etc can be used for money rituals.

You remain useless! Continue to dey curse Buhari son until the end of time. Na you just dey suffer!
Blame Buhari for all the woes in your life. You forgot when you voted for a known corrupt politician because he is from your village or because he is of the same religion as you, when you collected rice, ankara and some paltry money to vote against your well being. Have you held your Governor, Senator, House representative, Local Govt chairman, LG Councillors etc responsible?

The people of the country are too sentimental. Who amongst the people that have held positions of power are saints?
Nigeria has over 200m people living within and over 40m in diaspora. Nigeria keeps wallowing in poverty due to the great policies and no political will to implement?
We are already in fire. I always say it, I can't vote or like anybody that is currently or has served under the FG before.
If Nigeria will get it right, we need to stop the tribalism and take it by force from these crooks in power.

Are you suggesting that Onnoghen should be let go without answering to his crime? Is that how the country will get better? You don't see the relationship between corruption and the Nigerian poverty you highlighted?
What has tribalism got to do with a chief law officer of the nation caught pants down with undeclared wealth that are above his means?
If we all shelve our situated sentiments aside and let corruption be dealt with irrespective of the tribe of the offender, we will be better off. Nigeria will not change magically, individuals have to take personal responsibility.
