It's becoming obvious that PDP is still strong in the Kadashian Territories of Kano, Kadunna and Katsina. How they were floored in the Presidential Election is becoming more worrying.

An average Nigerian picks a party, then vote that party throughout the Election, why is this one different? Are Nigerians no longer average or the Rigging was Next Level?

The bitter truth is once its Buhari(Not APC), Northerners just follow him. In the other elections, everyone will just do what they want.

Since the population of Nigerians below 40 years is above 60%, I guess it's time we demand for E-voting.

Electronic system of voting for Computer literates while the normal balloting will still be an option for those that can't do E-voting.

I support O TO GE LAGOS.. because , Lagos govt since 1999 only focus on only two sectors., TRANSPORTATION and ENVIRONMENTAL,no ideas on other areas .. Lagos get close to 50 billion revenue every month from federal govt and IGR. The money most state in Nigeria don't get in a year . , To say the fact, it is the easiest state to govern in Nigeria, because it's only this two area they work on.. Unlike other states that work on Housing, water, agriculture, health, sport, Industry , youth empowerment etc.. Lagos is not working too, people are just deceived...Lagos is developed already by the FEDERAL GOVT when it was capital of Nigeria.. Of recent it was developed by the private sector industrialization, coupled with natural gain from Sea port ,..we know most lagosians don't work or depend on state govt..All govt from Tinubu, fasola, Ambode work only on expansion of roads, terminal/bridges construction, and beautification of environment, but since 20yrs ago, no much to show for it..LAGOS IS JUST A MONEY MAKING VENTURES FOR SOME PEOPLE BENEFITS ALONE, . A state that has 50% of its area to be water, yet most household depend on boreholes and well water .. It's sad... O TO GE LAGOS

Vice presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Mr Peter Obi, on Tuesday, said the results declared by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) from Anambra state was unacceptable to the party.

He accused the electoral umpire of disenfranchising over 8 million registered voters in the South East Geo-political Zone in the last general election.

Addressing newsmen in his Onitsha residence, Obi further lamented that the election was systematically planned to ensure the zone did not participate fully in the exercise.

He argued that only 20% were able to cast their votes out of 10 million registered voters in the area.

He said, “You will recall that on the election day I said that the process was clumsy and we also had major problem of card readers and most people could not vote.

“When over 400,000 Card Readers got burnt it became clear that something was wrong somewhere and INEC could not save the situation and they will not allow people to vote manually.

“But in some other parts of the country people are allowed to vote manually and it was accepted by the electoral body. Now how can you tell me that a state like Yobe and Bornu produced the number of voters that is higher than Anambra and Ebony states put together?

“The two states are areas that have been at war and I wonder how they got Card Readers that are working so well despite the war situation that they found themselves?

Obi regretted the retrogressive disposition the country was tilting to, noting that instead of the country building on achievements of the 2015 general election the country was on a reverse

He added, “The impressive turn out of voters was discouraged by the performance of the electoral body last Saturday.

Obi further decried the harassment and attack members of his party had suffered in the hands of security agencies targeted at intimidating them.

He however hinted that it was not in his powers to announce any demand for the cancellation of the election, saying, “It is left for the party to make its position clear on the matter.”

This election has proven that the problem with Nigeria is not mainly caused by bad leaders as people always say, but a massive lack of education as the root cause. Every educated person knows that Buhari lacks the knowledge and health fittness to rule a country. But amazingly he is getting a second term. This can only happen when the masses are not educated. Atiku was winning the polls on social media because those who participated in the polls were the more educated Nigerians. Even though Atiku is not the best choice but he is better than Buhari and had the best chance to remove Buhari than the other candidates.

Lack of education is the biggest issue in this country and this country will never go anywhere as long as it remains like that. If Buhari can be reelected then it means rouges like Tinubu and Ameachi can also win an election in Nigeria as long as the masses are this uneducated. I have lost hope in this country.
