Same here too. This phase sha pass after will finish giving birth to all our children though. Let's enjoy a little fat. At least people can respect me small. Am no longer tiny petite girl. I don get small flesh.

1. My baby has this rashish looking thing on his skin, normally baby tribotan clears rashes in 2 days max 3 but this one is going to 5 days. pic attached. Is it just rashes or something else?

2. Car seat. I was going to buy the convertible seat but someone gifted me an infant seat and I chopped hubs money decided to save the money. When do babies outgrow the infant seat? What type should I buy now and any good brand suggestions?

For the car seat, i will go for GRACO product anytime, anyday
For the rashes, something like this though not the same came up on my daughter some months ago and her pediatrician prescribed ELOCOM. Please take her to hospital and use doctor prescription appropriately.

Mama that mentioned putting her son on his chest to sleep please DO NOT TRY IT O!!! As other mama have made mentioned that it cause SIDS(Sudden infant death syndrome). Always good for baby to sleep on their back. When they start rolling over they will choose the position best for them.

Please how did you do the rice cereal? What type of rice did you use? Also how do you warm the pureed fruits?

To prepare rice cereal use the following layout:
1. Get a white rice or brown rice( I prefer brown rice)
2. Wash the quantity of rice you need to dry.
3. Put it section by section into dry frypan and dry until it does not stick into your spoon
4. Scoop it out into a dry plate and let it cool before you blend

5. Ready your blender and blend it till smooth,

6. Then put it into a dry container and keep.
7. To cook, just put 2 or as you desire into a little water on fire
8. Then pour out and mix with any of your desire either breast milk, formula
9. You may even mix apple puree.

Put inside water ke, of course, it will turn to water. What i'm talking about is elevating inside water o. i.e Just like u don't wanna get wet in a puddle and decide to step on a stone. The stone or whichever stuff you decide to use is the elevation.. like a plate, formula stays on plate and clear of water

You can start now or wait for the two weeks. If your baby already has good head control, is sitting up and has doubled his weight, you don't need to wait for the 6 months. You might even be underfeeding him.

I started at 4 months because he had teeth and was fighting his brother for his food. He likes food so much that i have to practically force him to drink milk and take cereal. In the evening, before i bathe him, i give him mashed beans or rice and stew. Then before he goes to bed, i give him a bottle of milk. He sleeps like a baby till the next day. Initially, he was waking up to suck as placebo so i started giving him water and then he stopped waking up.

Thank you. In fact she's weighing 8.3kg now@5month but no teeth yet. Teething has started though and she's sitting too. Thank you all....... I will start giving her food.

It may just be a phase for her! Maybe she will readjust! Also your own supply may have reduced..... I don't have thick endurance levels so if na me I for don quietly dey add formula and forget exclusive! But you don nearly reach manage for the remaining two weeks jare

Feed her formula before she goes to bed. She'll sleep longer that way and then you can supplement with water or breastmilk.
If she's feeding on formula already, there's no need to wait the 6m gangan to begin solid foods o...

Okay. I tried that yesterday with formula in the night she was able to sleep but still wakes up like 2 times to suck. May God help me. Thank you

Good morning mama in the house, What do you do when you wish to breastfeed your baby for six month and Just put little formula when she's extremely hungry.
My baby started eating formula since 2 days old because oyinbo doctor said breast milk can't fill her and since then we have been using both.
But i noticed recently that she doesn't sleep long like before . So the question that keeps ringing in my heart is , Is it because I haven't started solid? I plan to start at exactly 6 month but the way she wakes up every 20 minutes it's tiring. It's like breast milk did not fill her again. What do you think? Should I start solid now or just kuku endure to reach 6 months in two weeks time. I need your opinion before going to doctor for her check up.

Funny enough my baby milk and cereal though kept in the fridge has never had clumps! Remember that the temp of the fridge is what Europeans* would typically hAve as regular temperature for thier environment and they keep baby milk in such climes if you get me!

But maybe it's the supermarket like you suspect!

If you have a dog or cat im sure he'd be glad to consume the milk!

En en!!! So you put baby powder milk in your fridge? Maybe I should try that. What do you think?

My thought - There is this big nylon( the small type used for moinmoin, dy sell d bigger type which you can use to keep according to d size u will use for a week) they use for iceblock or transparent freezer bags.
Tighten d mouth and u will keep them in an airtight container like dt. I dont knw if it makes sense but dts a lot of milk. U can try

Thank you so much. Bought a new one now and hubby has been advising me to put in a double ziplock bag. So I will just do that. Then try and fumigate the whole house anytime am traveling outside. Thank you so much for your suggestions

But since u just mentioned it is weevils, haa it's from the supermarket, no wonder u said it's cheap, abeg don't buy from there again. All their stock is infected. Dem say awoof dey purge belle this is a typical example.

But seriously, my eyes is shooking to throw it away. I guess I can drink it nah. Maybe add to flakes or anything that needs milk just that I fear of FAT

hunniesuzie, i dont even know. What i sha know is that since i started buying from the store, when i opened and remove some to small container then cover the rest before the next day, small insect(all those invisible insect) shey na weevil dem dey call ni, go enter.
@wholesomegrace, i cant put in water because its dry powder. Everything will just spoil once.

@zaynie, thank you. Honesty I don't know what to do anymore. Within one week I have wasted 30k.
Fridge is not even an option because the food will have clumps.
What I did overnight was just to put the formula on the kitchen cabinet and this morning I can't find any insect inside again. Although I won't be feeding baby again as I have to throw the can away. So I was thinking maybe is wardrobe heat that caused it. Because honestly, the lid is very tight.

I also noticed that since I started buying it cheap from one supermarket the two incident has happened to me. Maybe is coincidence though.

@ Feddy27, and all other sabi mum. Please help me on how to preserve Similac advance oh!!! This is the second time am buying this food and I will just only use it once but insect keep entering inside. This food cost me 15k. I feel like crying now because I just wasted two cans that I used only once. I moved the first one from kitchen, second one hubby advised o should put it in the bedroom but stupid insect enter. As for Drugs, maybe you should buy a cough syrup for baby.(Ask your doctor) I have no further experience. Wish your LO well.
