Baby Jed arrived 5days ago. Pls, mothers doing exclusive breast feeding is that how ur lo hangs on ur breast all day and how can I know if my son is getting enough milk. Cos of the prolong labour(27hrs) and after effect of epidural and episiotomy pain I couldn't breast feed for the 1st 3days so he was giving formula now I'm ready to go all the way with breastmilk to catch up with the quantity of the formula (50ml) per feed. He latchs well and my tinylittle breast is now so engroused with milk. Hope he is getting enough milk from me?

You will be able to know if your LO is really sucking by listening to LO swallow. Also if LO is actually full, LO will give signs like putting hands down, sleeping, removing mouth from breast and locking up mouth. May God help us all.

Akorkor, your fears are normal cos of the miracle of childbirth that happened there. Just try to be less tensed and enjoy urself, you might feel real pressure down there as it did for me cos I had an episiotomy that took weeks to heal but it gets better with time. Enjoy but ensure you have taken precautions else u fit land back to preggy thread oh

@Mzora, like other mama have commented, I experienced something similar. What I did was to stop formula for 1 day, massage the tummy, use the thermometer tip to put Vaseline in my DD anus(not dip), give warm water and massage her stomach. These should give result.

When did you resume kpekusing after birth. I don't really have any obvious tears but Am scared and DH is really getting ready for 6 weeks. Now we are 6 weeks. What should I do and how should I go about it. Thank you

What I do is, I wear him light clothes during the day and when it gets too hot, I take off his shorts and leave him with just his singlet or sleeveless shirt. Then at night, I don't bother wearing him a sleep suit. I just wear him a sleeveless bodysuit with socks. When the temperature gets cold at night I simply cover him blanket

As for cream I have no idea. I use olive oil for my son

Thanks... I do same thing too. Wear light cloth during the day and night. I used Johnson Johnson Vaseline but I have stopped using any cream for now because of the weather heat.

And also what type of cream can I use for my DD. The heat is too much and my daughter doesn't have chill for eat at all so I stop using cream for her.

Forgot my iPhone 6s at ataturk airport Istanbul at food court where I say chop.
Husband called and someone picked up and keep saying " Food Court". Am so not happy.

Been trying to reach it since last week I came in but all to no avail.
I called Turkish airline they said I should report to the airport. Sent airport mail they said nothing like that is in thier inventory.
" Na so my phone go go in this buhari economy? .

I need your advice if you have recovered something like this. Turkish airline isn't helping matter at all cos I informed them before we took off at Istanbul they were just doing as if they didn't hear all my grammar.

I am so happy this morning that she poo big time.

What I did was to give her warm water, I make sure I change my diet and started taking oranges and more water.

Also, I made sure I gave her EBF for two days without adding formula then gave her very warm formula and she pooped big time.

Please what do you do if suddenly your 2weeks baby stop pooing. Am so worried!!! Her Pediatrician says I should wait for like 5 to 8 days that they tend to change and I should drink more water. Hubby and mom said I should give the baby warm water which I have done but still no poo. What else can I apply.

Na so I start ohhh!!! Then one of the doctor asked if I don't mind if they introduce vacuum pump to help with the delivery but I will still do the pushing and I have seen where they used the instrument before (3 idiot movie) so I told them go ahead.

I pushed and pushed and pushed and pushed and my Elileojor(Goodness of God) came out 9:18pm with a little cried.

So doctor had to resuscitate her and stabilize her breathing because we were both stressed.

I just want to bless God because I had miscarriage December last year after I got married in October and was depressed but God that do wonders remember me in month of March and make me a mother to a beautiful baby girl in December.

To all Mothers out there and to all TTC mama, may the lord answer all your request in Jesus name.

Na so dem insert am ohh.... at 4:47 and they told me I can't pee until after 2 hrs. Hmmm wahala!!!! I just dey do countdown on bed with DH gisting with me.
Fast forward, I started having serious and painful cramps that I couldn't wait for the 12hrs of insertion to finish because at the point I was still like 1cm dilated(So sad) I just asked them to remove the thing abeg I can't come and die.

Next morning, I asked for epidural( God bless the inventor) and I started playing then pitocin was placed and by 3pm I was 9cm dilated(woops) Very happy. Na so one nurse came in and said where my baby suppose to come out it still not opening.

The fine doctor came in and checked again and broke my water then they left me...All this time baby was very active but later her heart rate start dropping that they started giving me oxygen to bounce back baby heartbeat.

At 6:20pm, two of my nurse and doctor angels came in and checked and he said I should start trying to push that they should have allowed me to start pushing since afternoon.

Glory to the lord almighty for making me to also share my BS on this wonderful platform.
At 40 weeks I told my doctor I will like to be induced since my DH will be coming down and he only has 3 weeks to stay before the two of us return. So doctor agreed.
On Wednesday, we entered the hospital and I was checked and still 0cm dilated. I felt sad( warris dis).. later one of the Doctor came and told me that my obyg said they should insert cervadil for me.
Like proper curious naija babe I asked make I look how the thing go be(looks like a tampoon) but pretty small.

Hi mama, I experienced this while I was 6weeks 6days pregnant. Thought I wanted to have miscarriage again cos I had one immediately I got wedded, so I was scared and cried. What my doctor did was to put me on bed rest for 2 weeks and place me on cyclotec progesterone till like 20 something week in my pregnancy. Now I have a beautiful daughter.

So please be prayerful and let your mind be at rest. Jehovah overdo will finish his work in your lives.

@favouredmom, my BBG arrived on 22nd at 9:18pm US time. DOB is 22nd not 23rd.

My son made his grand entrance at 11:47pm on the 24th through emergency CS weighing 2.8kg upon all the cold stone, chicken and chips plus malt. BS later recovery ain't easy. #decembermamas.
