True but dont rule out ethnicity and religion in those core north states. I projected tinubu to clear core north 2023 but he ended up losing narrowly winning only 3 states. He lost Yobe, Gombe, Katsina, kaduna that where considered safe. So don't underrated those sentiments.

In SS, the ruling party is usually dominant in elections. Again, rural areas usually do consensus voting whereby they decide where they vote before the polls exactly why obi lost the rural areas of Akwa cross, bayelsa, and won the urban areas. It is not always rigging. Many of those people that you interview won't vote on election day or might be influenced. It is only in the SE and to a large extent SW where the dominant political structures hardly influence them
