When I was in my 3rd year in school, I dated a part 1 student who was 17yrs old then. I couldn't believes she was 17yrs until I helped her did the registration in the 1st semester of her part 2, it was then I discovered that my gf was not upto 18yrs.

50calibre: One thing I've observed on this thread is Nigerians are experts in preaching morality, why then is this morality not evident in the country? People have high moral standards in words not in action, classic hypocrisy.

Nigeria today, stands as one of the most corrupt, the most inhumane country on the planet, why? Maybe if people start practising what they preach in their daily lives, there could be a change.

A 17 year old girl can consent, Nigerians have a culture of calling people kids, yet there are kids in the world doing exploit & achieving more than most of then can ever dream of, age isn't maturity.
