can you help with how to treat the soil before planting?
You can treat with a soil fumigant. You can also use Furadan and a good insecticide when preparing the land

For sometime now I can't update regularly about our tomatoes adventure because of two reasons one is dry season stress and two is a complete crash in my health, back to business, the tomato nursery was a success as we had 80-90% germination,we also made use of used satchet water bags as an alternative to nursery trays,a water sachet company nearby is quite happy for us to take away their trash, the tomatoes Padma f1 are 4 weeks today and we will start transplanting tomorrow, pls we will appreciate any advice from tomato farmers on the way forward
Well done sir.
Your tomato seedlings are looking healthy.

... before transplanting, ensure you treat your soil against soil pathogens (fungi, bacteria and nematodes)

You're one hell of a guy! I'm just seeing your mulberries (omggggg someone else has a thing for mulberries)! How many years have you grown them? I had the tree once without planting it myself. They were so delicious!!!

That you grow most of your fruit and veg is impressive. Fresh everyday. Love your burgers and tomatoes!

Blow our minds some more.

Kitchen whiz.

Edited:

Seen some more beautiful stuff. How can I eat them through my device, please?
Thanks boss!

I bought a grafted seedling. They're about a month old.

I will keep blowing minds grin

Ah, this is a serious question. I'd like to know the answer too. I remember reading about a pesticide with some nematocidal properties once.
There are many nematicides (organic and inorganic) used in preventing/controlling nematodes.

Neem cake (organic) is best at preventing. It is recommended that one mix with the soil during soil preparation.

Velum Prime (inorganic) is very very effective at both preventing/controlling nematodes. However, it is very expensive.

Other options are Furadan, wormforce, etc

I guess you read the writeup with your own preconceived notions. Because I clearly stated that how it's not about men vs women but Masculinity vs Femininity.

Either way a woman will work for a man. In the house or in the office. She will still report to a man. She Chooses which man she's happy to submit to. See, you never thought of it this way...
For the first paragraph,
Okay. There's no problem.

I think the second paragraph is vice versa and also not completely true. However, I agree with choosing who she wants to submit to. The power of choice

I agree to disagree here.

This is just a post to make women feel weak, totally dependent and have no say in a relationship.

The average Nigerian man is always seeking to control the female. This ain't supposed to be. The only control a man need is SELFcontrol. Control yourself, everything will fall in place.

Poverty makes men weaklings...i agree with this. But this does not mean your wife or girlfriend shouldn't be successful! Many African men have been applauding Mrs Harris (USA VP - Elect), these same men will not allow their wives and girlfriends grow, succeed and become a lady of impact because of their huge insecurity, envy and love of dominance. Everybody deserves and should aim for Independence.

Although you made some good points, you should quit trying to miseducate youngsters. A woman is never your property to control.
Respect, trust and loyalty is the key not these dominance and weakling things.

Most beings on nairaland are always lurking around the corner, impatiently waiting for people to make mistakes or share a perception different from theirs so they can tear the person apart.
Their unforgiving and sentimental analysis is legendary. I'm still oblivious of how you hide behind your keyboards to cancel people you can't confront in reality. The cancel culture on NL is just something else.

Most of these defaulters never or rarely make positive contributions (post food pics, give out recipe or share food inspiration) here. Their likes are always pained that people are posting, cooking and eating good food. I didn't come this far on this thread by cancelling people or hating on their amazing food pics. On the contrary, they pushed and inspired me to improve my "foodieness", get a culinary degree and improve on my food photography skills.

To all that have actually contributed positively to this thread, I sincerely appreciate you guys. It ain't easy cooking, taking food pics and posting online.

I was banned from posting here, reason I haven't posted for a while.
Permit me to take my official leave and unfollow this thread, lemme enjoy my incognito mode. Naysayers and sentimental analyst, I'm withdrawing my pot from your kitchen. You guys can go about drooling your pains on the next big thing.

Meanwhile, you can DM me for your vegetable farming/gardening consultation. I help novice and beginners grow vegetables at home and for commercial purposes.

The electric oven is still available for pickup. The other lady said I should keep it for her but it has been over 6 months and I haven't heard from her.

Enjoy my yummy Scones. Inspired by Mariahangel
