In Rayfield, Jos we have uninterrupted light for 3 weeks on many occasions.

Today makes it a week without a blink but there are still areas in Jos without constant electricity.
This is true. We've been enjoying uninterrupted power supply here in Rayfield.

I used to be like this, but I have learned to check. I come home with all my receipts and check every item. It is good to know prices of things in the market. Helps you draw your financial plans as well.
True. I can't agree less.

BlueRayDick:
I bought frozen shrimps at shoprite on my way from work on Friday. The 250grams I bought should be something around 600 or so. Most times I don't usually check the price per items I bought.....but the 500grams I saw labeled was above 1k so I'm guessing the 250grams should be like half of the price.
It is still fair. It will be cheaper in the local market then

When I posted my fried rice yesterday I wasn't really in the mood to do plenty shalaye because by the time I was done cooking I was tired as hell; I just struggled to snap and post ni jàre.

So one of the reasons I was that tired was because I tried to source for cow liver within my vicinity and couldn't get any; Until I ended up in a store that operates a frozen food department.

Fortunately or unfortunately they also didn't have cow liver but they had assorted meat already packaged as a whole. Because it was all frozen I couldn't confirm whether the packaged assorted had liver in it or not. The attendant hassled me promising i would find liver in it. So I ended up buying a pack of assorted meat for ₦2,600 hoping I will lucky enough to find liver which I needed for my fried rice in it.( I've actually been craving for fried rice that contained diced Cow liver for a while)

Lucky me I found the a sizeable chunk of cow liver in the whole package and used for my fried rice.

This evening I suddenly remember the other assorted meat are still in the fridge unused. So I put one and two together and I present to u my assorted cow meet pepper soup cool
Huncle Dickson. Haba! I need this kind peppersoup in Jos. The colds are warming up to freeze us here. It has been raining nonstop. After this rain comes the full freezing cold.

...winter is coming. Gimme peppersoup.

I think you need to go for that indomie competition..

You have all it takes to win, and your picture quality looks cool also..

All you need to do is to upload like three pictures here or more, then we gonna choose which one to use.

Respect my Brother
The competition ended weeks ago. It was actually Golden Penny Food Photography contest. I wanted to create and shot a unique photo with their garri (packed Golden Penny garri) but I couldn't find it anywhere. Also, I was too broke to afford most of the ingredients I needed to make and take a photo.

Thanks boss! I appreciate

.. meanwhile you've been killing me slowly with your Food Art. I get inspired and demotivated sometimes by your photos. I wish to get to your food photography level one day. You're good Chef!

My noodle, homemade boli (I used the oven) and roasted abi na grilled sharwa fish.

Happy Sunday

*Modified

I see some people use sardine in making noodles. Why not buy sharwa fish. It is very sweet, the only issue na the bones. A full sharwa fish ranges from 80 - 150 depending on the size. Sardine ranges from 200 - 350.

...the choice is yours
