RichBoy247:At times l found it difficult why someone will just pick up his handset or laptop to rain curses and insults on a national leader. What are these people with this habit gain from it left me with wide imagination of our home training or societal values. While l am vehemently against social media clamp down by government agencies citing hate speech or what not, looking or reading what some of us posted on the internet, one will be left with no option but to agree with the those shouting hate speech. I dont believe that insulting our leaders is the way forward. |
Possibly this behavior( if it is true) was what cost Zamfara it's political sucide. |
Just a joke to the Senate president. Matured mind will think along this line |
Provided he personally funded the novelty March. In any case, all works and no play makes... |
The problem is that had it been it was the other way round, the noise that would have been generated is enough to power our epileptic power supply. |
Politicians are very aware of how Nigerians reason. They know that a sound and good advice is treated with levity either by religion, ethnicity or regional base. We seemed to care much about who is giving the advice rather than the value of the advice. |
These politicians believe that Nigerians do not reason on their own. About 30m Nigerians voted while to say the least there are about 50m Nigerians though registered but did not vote. The figure quoted are not exact but just to drive home a point that there are reasonable and silent Nigerians that are watching events carefully |
As aptly captured above, just tell me how and why should you help a fellow human being when those trained and empowered by law are behaving in this disgusting manner. Without the CCTV, the helping doctor would have been in detention and if care is not taken he could be jailed or "rewarded" with irreversible punishment |
Religion is what we have taken upon ourselves as a way to reach the almighty God. Some religion is so stringent that one needs to ask whether Allah brought this upon his creation. Even some human creations such as clothes suddenly has God's input on how to wear or use it either female or male. I am of the opinion that had it been aircraft was in existence then, may be Allah would have told us how to use it. In some religion almost every human innovations have suddenly got God's approval on how to use it citing one holy book or the other. If we believe that even human creation has the almighty guide just as some of the Holy Books to a very large extent has human contributions then sincerely we have a long way to search for how to worship the almighty God which l believe is there. People are either compelled to do this or not citing Allah for such laws. In years to come, you must just pray otherwise you will be arrested citing Allah's command. The two strongest religion in our country are making fools of us citing God's law. How do you verify these almighty laws, of course when we are dead and the dead stayed dumb. Most of the religious leaders whom we are following refused to come back to earth after they are dead leaving us once again with you must follow attitude. We need religion to keep us at least from horrendous ways of living. I am still trying to understand why the developed countries that paid little relevance to religion are far ahead of us that practically live in religion for our day to day activities. In fact, we need their innovations to properly carry out our religious obligations. There is Allah or God but the way we are going about it sounds human. Every language you can think of has a name it called God. Then, before we are wiped into two or three religion, every tribe has its unique way of communicating to Allah and God in his infinite mercy answered such calls. I shudder to think what becomes of our forefathers who were not "enlightened". I should not worry, even the way we are presently worshipping God is slightly different from my childhood days in the same religion setting. |
l don't expect less from you. It's just natural |
In government services, l think a driver is superior to a gateman. I am not sure of private services. The qualifications required to be a driver is not the same to that of a gateman. However , Both are risky jobs. |
Habit once formed can rarely be changed especially the one formed by one's self. The one that can easily be changed is the habit formed thru the influence of friends. Habits can easily by reversed if the circumstances surrounding the change have drastically improved. But then we are humans with capacity to direct our ways positively or negatively. |
40 seconds a great achievement. Someone comes 20 seconds and yet he has children. l would not have bothered to answer that silly statement from a woman who told the whole world that she is shameless |
Perhaps the younger ones do not understand what brought Gen Yakubu Gowon to power. Anytime we refuse to reason along side the truth of events, naturally we will continue blaming everyone. We need to tell our children the bitter truth of events either positively or negatively so that the up coming generations will know what went wrong and adjust accordingly. What l am trying to say is both sides in a crisis should endeavor to tell the truth for posterity sake. |
[quote author=frbona post=78363203]this is no hustling This is stealing! Please call a spade a spade[/quote. That's the simple truth |
Really, people are of different opinions and that's what shape the world. Personally, l see nothing wrong in going ahead with her wedding. Wishing her quick recovery and happy and blessed marriage life. |
I am lost. We're practicing democracy but far flung from that of America and British where law enforcement agencies are apolitical. They carried out lawful orders from the politicians and discard unlawful orders. It seems here, though l may be wrong; can our law enforcement agencies be apolitical. |
These our men of God have one big advantage and that's "there's no how one can verify what they saying until the men of God himself and we the gullible followers are dead. The irony is, the dead stayed dumb. In all religions, we are threatened with hell and paradise a claim neither the preacher or the listener can verify. They showed you books purportedly written by the almighty thru human beings, quoting from the same book to justify what to his or her understanding is what God said and off course we are in haste to do what they wish. Timid. |
Politics we were told is a dirty game. In this scenario, it's politics in its highest height. |
When it comes to the former Chief Justice, it seems we are missing the point. What people are saying is that the Chief Justice was not constitutionally removed from office. By all means probe or prosecute him if he is found to be corrupt. |
Let's read our constitution. |
Possibly this may be fake news. However, if it is not then this country is in trouble. |
Your religious obligations should squarely be your burden. Does the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria support this force full lifestyle |
lt seems you are assuming the behavior of Churchill. That is a very wrong way to judge |
If you read some of the comments, you will not be surprised why we are Nigerians. |
l am still reading the constitution as regards to the separation of powers. So far l am yet to be convinced that there is separation of powers except the executive. One can go on and on but those who look deeply will find that in theory yes there's separation of powers but practically l beg to differ |
Do you remember that our present president was heavily defeated byYar A'dua in his home state of Katsina. He came back to have a landslide victory. Don't therefore write him off politically. |
She can flew into rage from 0 to 100 percent in a split of a second. Do you get the point. Calculate and you arrive at a point surrounding her marriage. She is very smart, bashing her x gives her the needed tonic to be in limelight |
The question is; the president whether they like it or not is traveling with public money. At his age he needs medical attention. |
One local government votes in lgala land will entirely cancelled out the entire votes of Ebira land. Maybe the ebiras' population is in the region of four digits. Very funny boasting |
Beauty!! What about the surgeries |
let's hope it won't come to the changing of their children's surname if any and creating false stories to keep the wheel rolling |
