FEC orders NSA to check security issues relating to mining
The Federal Executive Council (FEC) Wednesday ordered the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) to coordinate security concerns around illegal mining activities across the country.

COVID-19: Another directives for banks, civil servants as curfew remains
The Presidential Task Force on Control of COVID-19 said Thursday that the nationwide curfew from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. remains as the phases two eased lockdown is extended by four weeks.

Accident claims first Nigeria Air Force female combat helicopter pilot
Flying Officer Tolulope Arotile has been announced dead, as a result of head injuries she sustained from a road traffic accident at Nigeria Air Force (NAF) Base in Kaduna.

2023: Be cautious on Igbo presidency, minister tells South-east
Minister of State for Education, Emeka Nwajiuba has urged the South-east to exercise caution in its campaign for Igbo presidency, noting that other ethnic groups which produced Nigeria’s president never associated it with the name of their tribes.
