ibrahimovic303: Work permit is quite easy to get for other EU nations, I know about the menial jobs usually, for example Ukrainians always get work permit for farming here and Romanians for berry picking, and so many others like that, you just have to research these things and tell us here...As for cost, I have no idea about that, but duration matters too because for example, berry picking could be a summer job and processing it might not take even one or two months Thanks for the Swift response, but bro I am a Nigerian and I live in Naija... I am hoping of coming over with a Schengen visa and stay legally after my visit and that's y I am asking if I can get a resident permit once I arrive.... Thanks |

omicron: That's all it takes to get UK visa. Patience. Take time to build your ties. Submit a clean account statement showing clearly your source of income as stated, explain all significant credits and debits, and keep budget as low as reasonable. All they want is that you have ties back home, you earned your funds legally and you will not run out of funds while in the UK. Noted boss!! A word is enough for the wise... |

Ojoaccess: Please must we explain why we make withdrawals from our account? I think they are only concerned with credits made into our account. Though I have not applied but there was a day I withdrew 600k from my account at once out of about 1m in the account. Did I have to explain why I withdrew such amount? For your own good yes... At least it cost you nothing just be truthful in your application that's all... |

MaBuk: I got my UK Visa with my 2 children today. @ekpotek, @justwise Thank you.
Here is my story so it can help others.
I had earn 240k. I had 300k in my salary and 500k in my savings and I wanted to apply for myself alone but ekpotek advised that I should work on my salary by waiting for other month to save more or I should find a relative to accomodate me in uk. I wanted to do this in january this year. but after having waited i was able to save 1.1 in my salary in nov and 500k in my savings . i do some rental business with my savings. i had a dom acct that someone uses to buy things online so i had $900 in the acct and with faith i applied with my 2 children because my sister said she was travelling as well so she would pay for the hotel and we were given.
it took me 10months to work on my statement because i did not want to have a very low balance so it won't look shady. i printed with an opening balance of 450k and ended with 1.1M. I made copy of the exercise book i write my rental sales as well.
I also addressed my refusal letter which states that i did not include my statement of account 5 years ago and i told them it was an oversight that i have included it now. we applied on the 5th November and got our visa today 28th November.
I was discouraged thinking the money was too small but I've seen refusal with big money before that they ask about the source of their fund and inconsistencies. so please let us be wise with the income we are presenting. For some people i would advise u use 6 months or more to build a good statement of account that is consistent.
Thank you and don't mind my typo. Congratulations mam, I salute your courage and the waiting period (10months), at last it all ended in glory... |

adeniyy01: Thank you, my boss always transfer my salary to my saving acct from company acct but no statements that the money meant for salary. And i can't question him. For instance, in my application i declared 182k which was paid in July, Aug was 260k, Sept 270k Oct 262k.. how can i justify this? Advice me please.. Are you the owner of the company?? Are you an employee? If you are an employee I think your salary should be paid into your account from the company's account and not from your own personal account... They want to see the transfer of your salary from the company's own.. work on these and you are on your way to the UK, also make sure you submit a detailed cover letter and explain how your salary is being paid and every other things you need to convince the Eco.... |

Any solution bcus.. those lawyer at collection center advised to do judiciary review nd she will help me cost is 40k. Your say pls.. Simple, your salary is not reflecting in your bank account, tackle this first and your visa is sure. My advice is don't rush!!! Even if it's going to take you 6months, work on your account to avoid another refusal (God forbid). Lastly don't, I mean never patronize those im migration lawyers ooo, cos na waste of time and money..✌️✌️ |

talk2castro: I opened a new topic on tips to travel to Turkey but it was deleted i dont know why. But let me make it open here. You said we do not advertise here. There is no way one can help people to travel to Turkey without involving money. I have lived in Istanbul, Ferikkoy for 6years. Turkish visa is not akamu case. It is a hard nut to crack. But recently a system was opened that you can now have a work permit from Nigeria before you go to the embassy to obtain a visa. I am not blabbing. I have it already tested and the person is in Turkey now. Someone should try it here and share the testimony. I dont beleive in talking too much. Lets risk it and see. Baba I gat just one question for you, I heared resident permit hard to get nowadays pls how true is this?? |

Cyberknight: Re the funds issue you mentioned, if these funds are yours from some other business you do separate from your paid employment, I would suggest you simply use a different account for them. There is nothing wrong with presenting more than one bank statement or having more than one bank account. I have two separate bank accounts and I always present both of them when applying for visas. Do not give the ECO work in trying to figure out what's going on in your account, remember that the default position is to refuse a visa once the burden of proof, which rests on the applicant, hasn't been met. Make things simple.
Incidentally, while the actual account balance itself is not the only determinant of an applicant's financial suitability, they look at the overall pattern of activity on the account - a closing balance of 870k is too low, if that was actually what you presented. Truth be told, I've done that back in the day and gotten away with it, but that was before. They are strict now and you have to learn the rules and ensure you tick all the boxes.
I see that you have been refused twice. That's a pity, and I would advise you to leave the UK alone for a while (at least a year) and try holidaying elsewhere before you come back to them. A third refusal will put you into the category of serial refusals by which stage you will probably need a solicitor to help you on another application when all your circumstances have positively changed. So you will have to prepare any third application very carefully indeed. My advice would be for you would be to work on your travel history and visit one or more of the visa-required countries, such as the Schengen countries, then gradually work your way up to the UK again.
All in all, take careful note of the remarks about proportionality of expenses, home ties, credibility, etc that others have made all over this thread and apply them strictly if you wish to receive a UK visa.
Best of luck. thanks for the lecture... i really appreciate God bless you.. |

@Cyberknight boss pls help review my refusal letter, from what you have advised @bensky, how do you think someone circumstance change, i have other funds apart from salary that enter my account on a monthly basis, and i explained all the inflow about(4.7m), outflow(3.9m) and closing balance (870k) for 6month, and also wrote a cover letter explaining the sources of these funds.
now should i stop other funds coming in, and just focus on the salary for 6 month and mind you i will be spending from the salary account too..
thanks as i await your response... |
