How to end corruption is NOT to vote either PDP or APC, both of which are made up expired, recycled, overused products.
If only we can all decide to put in fresh new blood, only then can we stand a chance. |

osusuallstars: are you not ashamed that you publicly identified yourself with betting and gambling, even if you are the sponsor, must you come to commission a business outfit that rub peter always and rarely pays peter. I have to agree. Even if he really sponsored the guy, to publicly associate with such a questionable venture is unacceptable. It's like commissioning a brothel or strip club and claiming that it empowers women. |

One really needs to respect Allen Onyema, the founder of airpeace. Go to any airport today, the i bet you close to 80% of the counters and passenger traffic are for airpeace. The man just dey rise anyhow. This is inspite of the very harsh operating environment. I doff my cap for the man.

ObservantFellow: Would be nice to know the reasons behind their collapse. Would be doing a personal research on it. It would even help the aviation sector so they can avoid such in the near future.
Ah.. Such foolishness. On record, Nigeria has had up to 150 different airlines. How many of your family members travel by air? Do you have any idea how much is required for running an airline enterprise? How many of your family members complaints on Nigerian economy has been about air transport services? The major reason I know is the very harsh operating environment for airlines. Without constant govt patronage, the airline is doomed. I read the interview by the airpeace CEO where he outlined the humongous challenges they face |

KingOfAmebo: Sometimes I wonder if you folks reason with your anus.
We talking about how 16 airlines have been abandoned and all you can say is all these happened during PDP era...Chicken brain, abeg where were all the so called APC members when PDP was in charge, have you forgotten most of the APC members were once PDP flag bearers or you are too ignorant to have known this?
[s]Last bullet: its almost 4 years now, please show us one airline APC have commissioned... I am not even talking about naming one they have setup themselves.[/s]
Too many brainless kids on Nairaland these days...smh
Nigeria truly deserve the kind of leaders she gets...lifeless people can only be lead by lifeless leaders. Keep quiet abeg. Im not an APC fan, but when did it become the duty of govt to commission airlines? |
Travel › Re: 16 Famous Nigerian Airlines That No Longer Exist by alezzy13: 1:01pm On Jan 02, 2019 |
Akabuking: most of those private airlines were been owned by southerners (west inclusive). the northerners killed them with bad politics. the northerners play bad politics with business, if you are not their own, the frustrate you out. e.g Dangote swallowed ibeto with bad politics. in the Cement industry only two people dominate.Dangote and Bua(both northerners). in other sectors he (Dangote) can't play politics, he's playing the catch up game( pasta &noodles, flour, salt e.t.c) Totally disagree. It may be the case for other sectors, but it doesnt apply to aviation. What of KAbo air? Chanchangi? What killed them? For me, it was lack of govt patronage the killed most of them, not really northern bad politics. In some cases direct govt interference eg Sosoliso |

prekumohtim: Truly common sense is not common at all. But at least try to get one . Try to reason before you comment Ok . Even a fool would give a better comment on this topic than you just did. Why not counter what he raised? The fact is almost all met thier demise during the PDP era |
