Those of you hailing the senator for his 'epic reply' must be the biggest of bunch of incorrigible iddiots. Is there anything wrong if these useless senators, alleged to receive over 20million MONTHLY, donate just about 1% to a struggling Corper?

Imagine the impact if every senator was required set aside a portion of their humongous, almost sinful, pay-packages to support just three graduates every month in their constituencies.

The other day another buffoon was showing off his latest acquired $400,000 car. SMH

Yet some will spend their last free kb defending these thieves online.

We are condemning SARs, but in fairness to them they've really tried in curbing crime. I clearly recall how armed robbers almost rendered an area no go, but for SARs.

SARs are the only outfit I know that will combat armed robbers fire for fire. Those yeye blue/black police go run away. but they should check ttheir excesses sha

Is this now the police just realised they're students involved in prostitutionhuh
They are just looking for avenue to make money.. .
And pls is prostitution illegal in Nigeria?
It depends on how you define prostitution. but for the most part, its illegal to engage in transactional sex from a fixed venue(ie brothel based).

sinceraconcept:
prostitution has always been a crime. Even it's a crime in many states in United states
ITs not as straight forward as that. Morally, of course, we all agree its wrong. But as far as the criminal code is concerned, only brothel-based, under-aged, forced/coerced, activities of pimps/madams are explicitly prohibited. When it comes to those ladies that hang around on the street waiting for paid sex, it be becomes less clear.

Hahahahahaha.

So, them wan spend Dollars for anti plagiarism softwarehuh

Can you imagine this monumental incompetence?

So, Buhari does not have people who can think out simple compositions. of English?

So, dies it mean his speech writers are without certificates too?

please, let them write the speeches in Hausa or Arabic then when he is reading it, we can get interpretation.

Under this received session, them still wan spend dollar for nothing?

Shame ooooo. shame.
#geez. Not again. Illiteracy is really bad. . .

Plagiarism software has nothing to do with "think out simple compositions" - whatever the Fugg that is. It is an indispensable tool used by academics all over the world. Essentially, its job is what its name says - check if plagiarism rule has been flouted.

Just a suggestion, you might also want to invest in a grammer checker yourself. Nonsense.

Wetin be this I beg... I have actually been wondering, if a leader cannot prepare a speech himself, it means what he reads as promises are just promises/ speeches made by others. He can never fulfill them because they were/are actually not his words. Nigeria, we import goods, we import speech! Issorait!
Such astounding ignorance.

Very, very few - if any - leader write their own speech. Even the 'great' Obama are usually written by specially emplyed white house speechwriters.

In fact, the few times that Obama has written a speech himself, the whitehouse had to make statment regarding it. For instance the speech he made while attending the shooting of the policemen in Dallas was personally written by him, and the whitehouse issued a statement to that effect.

pls educate yourself

Let me educate you. Jonathan saved, and he saved a lot, however one of the major APC pioneers Rotimi Amaechi who was then chairman of the Governors forum took Jonathan to court and insisted that money from the excess crude account be shared among the 36 states and that it is unconstitutional for the Fed. Government to be saving money. And so the money was shared to the 36 states. You cannot cut off a man's hand and still criticize him for not clapping......
Abegiii!! you wailers should quit this crap you keep regurgitating.

Yes, the money was shared but you conveniently left out the fact that FG collected more than HALF (about 53%) of that money. BUT what is there to show for it?? Why didn't FG retain its share in the ECA account after disbursing to the states if indeed it was considering the future?

the question is, where is the money to steal?

And yes, I visit quite a number of these ministries, and usual complain is that "Bubu blocked the leakages" - mostly due to the TSA implementation.

There is still stealing, no doubt about it. But can it be at the scale of the previous administration?

corruption may still be going on, but its certainly not in the same level as the last administration.

However, I do think he (PMB) must have underestimated just how deeply entrenched corruption is. This could explain his desire to go after 'soft' targets.

@strikethrough is ur opinion. if not where is your source. it seems you reserved the right to say when a statement can be plagiarised or not.

where is the source to the red highlighted text?
these are common knowledge - a simple google search should suffice.

from wikipedia
General common knowledge: Statements that the average adult recognizes as true. Examples: "Paris is the capital of France" or "Humans normally have two arms and two legs."
Subject-specific common knowledge: Material that someone familiar with a topic, including laypersons, recognizes as true. Example (from Processor): "In a computer, the processor is the component that executes instructions."
Plot of the subject of the article: If the subject of the article is a book or film or other artistic work, it is unnecessary to cite a source in describing events or other details. It should be obvious to potential readers that the subject of the article is the source of the information. If the subject of the article is a work that has been published or broadcast in a serial manner, then citing the episode, issue or book can aid comprehension for readers not familiar with the whole of the serial work. It also aids verification if editors are concerned about inappropriate use of the artistic work (a primary source) for interpretation.

Very funny is as if plagerism people.don't know plagerism it means level of similarities. For your information anything you write on the earth is almost similar to that of somebody but what is against the law for one writing to be more than 20% similarities in relation to all your writing not just sentence. If that is the case even the word PLAGERISM is said to be plegerised?
Wrong. Of course you can't plagiarize a word, but you can plagiarized a JUST A SENTENCE. Get it right: even if you use your own words, you must give ATTRIBUTION to the original author by proper referencing. This is paraphrasing.

The only exception is when the expression becomes so worn-out and hackneyed that either everyone knows - or no one knows - the original author.

eg If I say "love is blind", its so popular that referencing may not be necessary.

#sigh#

the controversies just never end. . .

Those claiming its not plagiarism should get their heads checked, and mind you I'm saying this as a core Buhari supporter. There is really no excuse especially in these days of plagiarism checkers; heck, even a google search would reveal the original author.

I suspect one of his "overzealous" writers heard the quote from somewhere, liked it, and rather than search for the author, simply inserted it. This is clearly wrong.

simple rule: when in doubt, conferring attribution to an unknown author may be acceptable - "as someone once said. . . "
