thwarrior72: You can do well by stop quoting that guy, he's a mischievous, self lying & ignorant punk.....Ignore him like every igbo on this thread has ignored okijajuju, there are birds of of thesame plumageSome people just like wallowing in ignorance. |
warrior01: Yes, he is a spare parts seller that has achieved what you and your lineage can't achieve in the next ten generations. Thank God, he is wise to have built a garage' to assemble 'imported cars' , you, mr bad belle, what have you achieved with your worthless life? Do you even know the foreign exchange this guy is already saving Nigeria? Do you how many people he single handedly kept off the streets? Do you even know how many small scale industries IVM has kept alive? Take out time and go to Nnewi, I promise your wretched life will never be the same again. Why does he then need to lie and call himself a car maker? Why not be proud of what he has achieved and build from there? Why does he need to lie? Does he think he is still a market fake spare parts seller? Tell him to apologise to Igbos and stop lying. |
Polchiz: Hausas and their slaves (Yorubas) are trying very hard to create the impression that Igbos are not better than them. This has nothing to do with the topic of the thread. |
warrior01: Mr man, shut up if you don't have any reasonable contribution to make. Apart from the engine and some other parts, the rest are made in newish and Enugu. Do you know how many companies are benefiting from IVM? My dear, travel and see. Sitting in your grand father's " face me and face you' you think everyone a failure like you? Go to Nnewi and see what these young men and women are doing with their God given talents. I don't even need to start lecturing your lazy bum about the contribution of this young man to the development of this nation from bringing down the prices of new motorcycles to the outright stoppage of importation of used ones. I hope and pray he achieved that with motor vehicles too. Like I said earlier, keep on hating as you know, you are already useless to your generation. Empty critic that can't even produce toothpick. So you are proud of a spare parts seller that built a garage to assemble imported car parts? As you set your bars too low, it's good ok, but as a true Igboman, I am setting my bars very high. INNOSON should aim to be competing with Toyota instead of roadside mechanics. |
Evergreen123: u are the laughing stock not igbos.Who owns the patent? Is iPhone a chinese phone? |
Evergreen123: The design was probably Chinese as they provided the initial technical know how. That's y they use their patent.Typical Nigerian. Swallows everything somebody in authority tells her. Can't make her own research. |
Rawani: [size=13pt]This is the most ignorant, dishonest and deceitful statement i've read in years. wExactly my point. The guy is a liar! |
Evergreen123: And who is begging these poor Yorubas to buy innosons.?Meaningless lie |
Arysexy: Coal city shuttle innoson bus cruising the whole enugu city, yet haters are asking if it is safe. You can buy one here from the producer with a few clicks: http://gacbus.en.alibaba.com/product/472285856-212257255/Diesel_LPG_city_bus_GZ6115SV.html https://i00.i.aliimg.com/photo/v1/472285856/Diesel_LPG_city_bus_GZ6115SV.jpg |
thwarrior72: No he isn't igbo, Thesame with the other guy from igbo rejected tribe from PHYou think being Igbo means you must defend mediocrity just because it is put out by your tribesman? INNOSON is putting Igbos down by saying that chinese cars are made in Nnewi. We are becoming a laughing stock and tribal pride is making some of us stick with his lies. |
Emmafrancis: when your ideal leader ran off to abidjanAnd yours drank lipton tea in abokki jail. |
shizzleStar: lets even assume they are mediocre, that's why i asked alfa if the famous car companies today are what they are today from day one, when the ones complaining cant even boast of a good life.I condemn their lies. |
ak47mann: Have you been to IVM car plant b4?No |
shizzleStar: on whose car? where were the cars assembled? so after assembling the cars they should stick the badges of what company if not innoson if may ask, or what point are you trying to make? They should stick the badge of GAC Motors on it. |
ak47mann: Meaning? That all IVM vehicled are made by GAC motors in china. They hold the patent and INNOSON is just a licenced assembler. |
cockycock: Look at you, want to buy shares? Educated man. Why not go online and see how u can manufacture matches or better still assemble phosphorus, gelatin and a tiny sticks u can get at ur backyard, at least u will employ 10 people from our unemployed youths. If this is all you can bring to this thread, please face left. You don't know me and I'm not going to justify myself to you because of a lying Nnewi illiterate. |
ak47mann: The problem with people like you is that as you jealous IVM the more the company progress and the more you see IVM cars, trucks applying nigerian roads and other african countries, your little change will not make any different if you don't buy IVM keep deceiving yourself8)You mean GAC cars stamped IVM. ![]() |
shizzleStar: nwokem you are the one insulting yourself here. Did Honda become what it is today from day one? did Toyota, Mercedes, Volkswagen, BMW, Peugeot, all become what they are today from their first day of existence? how old is innoson in the business of car manufacturing compared to those others. All those companies were also mediocres at inception.Toyota, Mercedes, Volkswagen, BMW, Peugeot did not stick their badges on someone else's cars and call them their own. |
ak47mann: not everything deserve replyIgnorance is bliss. |
davies123: Nigerians have never given unconditional support to their products like other countries doI was going to buy Innoson car for my sister. But not anymore. A company lying about its products can't be trusted. |
cockycock: From the bolded word in ur post. I now understand the issue u have with innoson and where u are heading to. No point dragging it with u, just wallow in it. Nigerians and the pull him down syndrome. With the little education he has this man has carved a niche for himself,Federal government, private firms and even commercial transporters are scrambling for these vehicles, with no publicity nor advert. While we the over educated are too calculative, too risk conscious can't even come close to him. We Nigerians should look into how we can assist this man or even do ours.Last few months I was so proud of INNOSON I started boasting about him everywhere. I wanted to invest and was doing an internet search to see if the company has shares or bonds I could buy, then a little google research and boom! Facepalm. Why did my brother lie to me? I hate liars, especially stupiid lies that can be found out easily and don't help anybody? Why not tell us what they really were and ask how to progress from there? |
Okijajuju1: Applying for 40% local content logic.. Lets take a case study with one of the cars...Haha. You forgot the logo which was designed in Nnewi. Talking of tyres, there are no local/indigenious tyre manufacturers in Nigeria and engine oils are not part of a car. Maybe they are also counting the petrol in their 40% abi na 70%. |
They are calling us haters because we are exposing their lies and mediocrity. You can't fool all the people all the time especially in this internet age. |
2tex: Oga, u keep asking about the parts? Go find out urself. Shebi u get internet subscription?Because it's all lies. |
Jeezuzpick: Well said! The Logo is made in china as well. |
As an Igboman, I feel very much insulted by innoson's tactics of calling low quality chinese cars made in Nigeria cars. We Igbos are capable of producing cars much better than these GAC cars. Why can't we do that instead of wallowing in mediocrity? |
nwanna89: Haba...why is this an issue? They should stop lying to us like we are stuupiid. |
persius555: Nigerians should embrace this product. For those who are complaining and grumbling, if u have nothing to offer, just ignore and move on.No one is forcing you to buy. America would not be what it is today, if the founders had the pessimist attitude that some nairalanders exhibit.Point of correction: America will not be what it is today if accepted mediocrity and swallowed whole lies hook, line and sinker. |
abu12: Please which part of the cars is innoson manufacturing in nnewi is it the tyre? The design? The body parts? The engine? The electrical part? The interior? Or innoson just outsource everything to china and come back home to couple it together. So you want to tell me that, that is how benz operate or what? The outsource everything to foreignersDon't put "outsourcing" and mediocre INNOSON in the same sentence. You can only outsource something that you own and control. INNOSON imports already made parts. He has no imput in the manufacturing of those parts. |
jobsat34: @ bolded, its 40% not 70%.. they are planning on expanding to 60% if participation/demand increases.. however, 40% locally source input is enough to claim ownership right..Which 40% parts please? |
2tex: i very well know d difference btw ''assembly'' and ''manufacture''. i dnt know ''Amex'' so i cant argue abt dat. I just used dat to cite an example.Which ones biko? |
ROSSIKE: So the hell WHAT if Innoson vehicles ''are not their design''? In the grand scheme of things, ie Nigeria becoming a vehicle manufacturing power, it matters little if Innoson 'designed' their cars or if someone in China or Korea did. What matters is output. South Africa exports 300,000 cars per annum, which contributes over $40 billion annually to her GDP. The main players there are GM, Honda, Toyota, Mercedes, BMW etc. They have their car assembly plants there. None of their cars was 'designed in South Africa'. Also, many car component manufacturers exist in SA, serving the car assembly plants. The plants also import some parts etc. Nobody goes around SA saying ''this manufacturer is only 'assembling'', or ''that manufacturer is not really producing cars because he imports components from Germany'' etc etc. The most important thing is OUTPUT. Output means economic activity. The more cars produced the more money is being made, and the more Nigerians are getting paid. Simple. The Innoson plant today employs over 7,000 Nigerians! It's not some backyard enterprise. Worrying yourself over the manufacturer's production system or ethos, as opposed to counting the output, is a total waste of time and energy.Nobody in SA goes around saying Honda, Toyota, Mercedes etc are South African cars. |
