You urged them to unravel the real truth about lekki tollgate with honesty, they did just what you asked them to do. But you rejected the result of the same penel setup by your own government.

What I don’t understand is that, why did the Lagos state government setup the penal when they already know they won’t accept report from the panel that is not in favor with the government.

I pity those who still have hope in this failed country, no need to waste time over this issue. Those who died at the lekki tollgate died for nothing
One prominent feature of our social media space is it's capacity as a source of unrestrained opinion. It's a melting pot of various attribute: lousiness, vindictiveness and sometimes childlike, even childish. People uncritically unleash what they see in this country and that accounted for the various report that inundated it during the violent aftermath of #EndSars campaign. It is this feature that people hung on to as evidence for substantiating the supposedly gruesome killing of unarmed protester at Lekki toll gate. Picture and obituary of victim were expected to fly around as evidence of such killing but days after the incident, the few that came only later turned out as fake. I never doubt there are killing but while neighbours, friends, colleague, school mates, church members or other acquaintance of victim never deem it fit to present damning evidence of their lost loved on social media remain confusing.

Yes, the panel may be democratically constituted, it is still not devoid of erroneous judgment and wrongful admittance owing to insincerity on behalf of witness. People couldn't present their evidence to social media where they can be dissected by public yet came through the back door to poor out testimonies.

The reason Boma and Tega will not be rewarded for their time in BBN shows is the negative comment from people like you and unfortunately, that's the majority opinion. Till date, there is no substantial evidence to buttress the claim both housemate had sex in the show, and they have come out to clarify the whole thing was staged. Even before both housemate dominated headlines for their act, Boma had been maligned by fans for every step he took. The whole things smack of propaganda from rival fans who see him as a threat to their favourite.. Tega only bore the brunt when critics found a more weighty plot to indict Boma. To understand the conspiracy aspect of the entire drama, we should ask where the 'rotten fish' comment credited to Boma came from? Obviously nothing similar to that was uttered during the show.

I've always said it than BBN is evil, not because of any act in the show but the fans desperation to pull down anyone in the interest of their favourite and other ulterior motives.

While I waited to slightly hieve a sigh of relief after Buhari first tenure, the CBN governor was gifted a second term. Second term of what? This is discombobulating.

This feeling is also reciprocated at the other side of the atlantic but the French sometimes take it over the edge. No.
This is not a case of irresponsible leadership.
The blame lies squarely with the people.
Electricity is not free that is a fact but the people think they can get it for free by introducing
elements of violence.
Since BEDC is a private company, the only reason they wouldn't supply electricity if they know
they can't get paid or safety issues.

Do you know the number of transformers, cables and subsations that were vandalized by so-called
protesters?

Some of these "protesters" even sometimes destroy NEPA infrastructure out of envy of neighboring towns
with electricity to spread misery.

If the town leaders traditional and political can hold a meeting and guarantee the safety of NEPA equipment and staff as
well as pay for the damages that was caused by "angry youths", electricity will be restored asap.
No region in Ondo South demand to live on free electricity. PHCN predate BEDC and there was light in the region. The current situation be isn't restricted Okitipupa alone. It spread across four local government. Who told you the protesters were vandals. The protest for power restoration was a product of consultation and mobilization. Sometime, the clergy were involved in the rally. At no time did the protesters resorted to vandalism

Thanks for your clarification.
Seems no one want to pay the debt.
This isn't about debt. I think the Okitipupa people are misinformed. The power issue isn't even about the town alone. About four local government are affected. Why are Okitipupa people isolating the case. The fact that they have fallen to self loathing and condemnation is another issue. When the break in transmission started, it was immediately the BEDC took over control from PHCN. My question is, after acquisition, did federal government transferred debt to the discos? How can Ondo South be the only indebted people in the entire state. To think that five local government are involved is another issue. BEDC was just finding a way of extorting the region by bringing up the condition. And do you know that the discos only started the argument of debt when they failed to restored transmission following a clash with power official in Odigbo local government, the main entrance to Ondo South. What happened was that the people of Odigbo town, a small town in the local government decided to vandalized the source of transmission after an an order of mass disconnection on the town was issued by BEDC. The action of youth in the area was even supported by the local king. That was the source of power distruption in the entire region that extended to 4 other local government. Even now, the local government where the whole distruption began have been fixed. This is the local government where Ore is located. I live in Ore too. The restoration wasn't without compromise from the people of the area. They succumb to the pressure of BEDC fraudulent charges.

Hmmm
Op, don't say anything about what you know nothing about. I'm from Okitipupa. That's my home town. Our people caused what they are facing with electricity now. Back in the days, Okitipupa has the best electricity services in ondo state. They refused to pay for power. Then had a major issue with the then NEPA which forced the federal government to disconnect the entire town.
Fast forward to 6 months later, they had a major riot about the issue and thugs burnt all the transformer in the town, burnt all the NEPA offices in the town and even killed some staffs that year. After that, they were totally ignored.
Even now that electricity have been privatizated. BEDC who is in charge of power in ondo stage asked the people of the town to pay 50% of what they owe and they will help restore power to the town but they refused. Claiming they must see power before they pay any money. Now the town has no hope of ever having power cuz BEDC vowed not to spend millions of naira to restore all the damages if there is no guarantee that they will get their money back.
The governor cannot even intervene since electricity is now in private hands. We are facing a lot of issues with BEDC at the moment and that's down to the fact that the company is owned and controlled by some stupid Benin people.
If you are from Okitipupa, then you shouldn't misreprent issue in this manner. How can the problem get solve when people of the region are misinformed and on self loathinging. The electricity issue isnt about Okitipupa alone but the entire Ondo South. It alli started in 2014 after transition to private ownership. The Benin Electricity Distribution Company BEDC put 5 out of the six local government in the South senatorial districtict into blackout, starting from Ore. I reside in Ore which is a major entrance to Ondo South so my fact is authoritative. Attempt to make BEDC respore supply to the region met a brickwall as the discos insist the area is indebted to the tune of billions. The question is how can a new company claim to be owed such amount. Did the PHCN transferred debt to them after the takeover bid. This was the question people were asking. After a long while, Power was restored to Ore in Odigbo local government leaving the remaining four in darkness. This has been the situation since 2014. Several protest has been held. Consultation has been made. Article has been written. On one of the protest led by a group, National revolutionary Vanguard, Mimiko himself sent forces to thwart the agitation. The governor saw through his second term without bringing solution to the protracted crisis. Akeredolu is on his second term, yet no solution has been profered. The deputy president, Osinbajo has visited the region and the issue was a topic. Talk about iresponsible leadership, that's the case here.

Christianity EtcRe: If Jesus Is God, Who Made That Pronouncement When John Baptized Him? by alfredilly:
awitness41:
Proverbs 8:22‭-‬31, the whole Chapter actually, is merely talking about "wisdom", not Jesus.

To the one who started this post - he asks valid questions.

There is God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit... true, they all exist.
But they are not the same.
Regarding God and Jesus... when Jesus claims to be "One" with His Father God, He is talking Spiritually and in Authority.
But Jesus did not pray to Himself while on Earth.
Nor when He ascended to Heaven did He sit at His own right hand.

Let me also ask all of you to please consider this:

John 5:21 (NKJV): For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will.
John 5:26 (NKJV): For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself...

In addition to Spiritually giving Life, John 5:26 also means that Jesus can create matter from nothing at all... something which no Angel can do, but only God and Jesus.

Now, at the very beginning - before the first atom, molecule, planet, or being - there was God alone.
For Jesus did not create God, just as a son cannot create his own parent, nor can a son come before their own parent.
God, therefore, MUST HAVE created Jesus... at the very beginning, before anything else (even an atom) was made.

In addition, God taught Jesus everything, gave Him every ability, and also gave His Son all authority over everything that would be made.

In essence, Jesus was just like God, for even though the Father is greater than Jesus (John 14:28), God gave Jesus every God-like trait.

(Therefore, it is no affront to God when Thomas refers to Jesus as "my Lord and my God"... because to us puny human beings, Jesus can be considered as One with His Father, or as God is, even though Jesus Himself is not God.)

To note: Jesus was not an Angel, just as God is not an Angel... for Angels were created by Both sometime afterward.

Now, on to Creation.
We know this is also true (John 1:3): nothing was made without Jesus also being present to make it.
That includes the first atom, the first molecule, the first planet, and the first beings... all of which God and Jesus created.
And to do that, Jesus also had to be given the ability to create matter from nothing at all, just like God can.

Consider our own body temples... a mass of atoms and molecules that would otherwise have no Life unless God and Jesus also put our own Spirit within us.
Thus, God and Jesus also make the visible (the body) and the invisible (the Spirit of Life in flesh that allows the atoms and molecules to become a living being).
Can we do that ? No.
Can Angels do that ? No.
Only God and Jesus can.

Why can't we simply believe that Jesus is just like God His Father in all ways - Spirit, form, and authority - but is Himself not God, but only God's Son ?
Why not ? It's the Truth.
That's because God, the Greater One, made it that way !

And you can all find the Scriptures that support this... without saying explicity that "God created Jesus".

I know the arguers will argue.

But if we actually think about what is presented to us in Scripture, ALL Verses included, then we can, in Truth, draw no other conclusion (nor can anyone disprove this using un-manipulated Scripture).
Jesus being God is both a figurative and a valid assertion. John 1: 1-5 already captured what you elaborated here. The father precede the son. But before the beginning of creative work, wether in heaven or on earth, the son already was. That is the meaning of the verse. ".. In the beginning was the word and the word was with God..".

The son was the first creative work of God. But unlike other creation, angel, human, animal and plant, the son was a replica of the father. The omnipotemce of God means he could bring out his our replica from himself. Jesus, the son was an issue from God himself. He is genetically of perfect likeness with God. We can understand this better by consider the subject of cloninng. A cloned organism is genetically a replica of the parent. This is different from how God created human in his own image.

We are God's image, not his likeness. The difference is made more stark in that we are flesh while God is spirit. One can say the spirit has no hand, eye and others but our physical attribute are a depiction of spirit being. Spirit is however different in that it doesn't regenerate because it doesn't die. Spirit dont self renewed. In physical cloning, though the offspring is genetically the same with the parents, the cells aren't in the same physical environment. While the parent can eat beans that supply protein at a particular time, the offspring may at that time feeds on carbonhydrate. Their body cell are therefore subjected to different condition at a particular referance time. Why the parent may be sick with malaria, the offspring might be suffering from Diarrhoea. Why the parent cell might grow cancerous, the offspring might be subjected to rapid grwth induced by some chemical.

The above analogy is aimed at differentiating earthly replication like cloning from the replication that took place in heaven when God gave birth to his son Jesus. It is safe to say that first asexual reproduction was witnessed in heaven. God reproduced Jesus from himself. The son is in every way like his father. No circumstances subject them to any difference. He possess the nature of the father and think like the father. He was given the same power that the father pssoess, omnipotence, omniscient. God is delighted to have him as partner. They are one in every likeness. All subsequent creative work, heaven and Earth were done with Jesus. It is even likely that God ordained his son to carry out the creative work under him. "through him all thing were created and without him there was nothing made the was made"

The only difference in the heavenly father son relation is that the son recogmize the father superior authority, though he possess all the father's attribute. There is perfect harmony. So when the creation of human was about to commence, God said, come let us create man in our own image. Jesus himself asserted to the father's superior authority in him when he said, not even the son of man know the day but only my father in heaven. The father has the authority to initiate suggestion but he works in harmony with his body. The superior authority is the reason God sent his son to the earth to die for man.

It is safe to say Jesus is God. He is God, the same as the father. "For I am in my father and my father is in me" . When you see me, you already see my father. It's just like a print duplicated several times, what difference does it they bare? Jesus is God. He is his father are one. .
