Health / Re: Penile Erection Beyond 30 Minutes Is Harmful To Men - Expert by Alhaji1970: 8:23pm On Dec 23, 2023
Are you a p*rn star?
Erection for hours!
Kilode?

Fryx:
Lol…

I don’t think so. I am naturally a very agile guy. And I have a kind of heart that easily get triggered hold on for long (either in anger, or pain, or happiness)

And since the penis is supplied by blood from the heart. Naturally, I will retain my erection for longer since my heart can go on pumping blood for hours without stopping (it’s genetic. My parents are warriors)

So, having sex to me is usually very intense and can go on for hours. I only stopped when the girl I am with is no longer feeling it. I can also retain ejaculation for as long as I want. Coupled with the fact that I rarely get tired (even when working). I usually just keep going until it no longer makes sense.

But even after releasing. My thing will still remain standing until I lie down to rest or focus on something else.

The professor knows nothing. I am as healthy as I can be. It’s pure genetics.

But check out the new salaries of lecturers with the IPPIS. I ask myself why am I sweating and spending so much money on a PhD research? Politics is way to go, and I mustn't even have complete school cert to be there!
Which way Naija?

You are correct but finish your PhD; the end shall justify your efforts. This is not how things will continue in Nigeria.
The pay is realy bad and difficult to believe.

Alhaji1970:
Kwara suspends Perm Sec over controversial COVID-19 Video

Kwara State Technical Committee on COVID-19 pandemic has asked the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Health Dr Ayinla Abubakar to proceed on indefinite suspension.

The decision followed the mishandling of the evacuation of a man who locals said had locked himself in his vehicle for days and had become distressed following some personal life challenges.

A footage had earlier surfaced of the mishandling of the rescue operation for the man.

“The committee is thoroughly embarrassed at the whole development. While the driver has been sacked from all activities of the committee for unilaterally allowing evacuation of the man by members of the public without waiting for the Rapid Response Team (RRT) to arrive the scene as instructed, the Permanent Secretary who directed him to proceed on the operation with a COVID-19 ambulance without due diligence and respect for all safety protocols is hereby asked to proceed on an indefinite suspension forthwith,” according to a statement signed by Kayode Alabi, Deputy Governor and Chairman of the COVID-19 Committee.

“As the highest official involved in the RRT squad who gave the directive for the driver to proceed, the committee does not accept his explanation regarding the ugly development.

“He has been asked to hand over to the most senior officer on the team pending his return from suspension. This development also has necessitated a new round of refresher course (which is now ongoing) for all our ambulance drivers and members of the RRT, as the scenario witnessed in the footage cannot be allowed to happen ever again.

“Finally, we are sorry once again for the development. It should not have happened. We do not take the support of the Kwara people for granted, and we reassure them that Kwara retains its proud ratings as one of the states with the best facilities, responsiveness, and general preparedness to manage this pandemic. This has been attested to by the NCDC team as well as the Stears Business rating of the level of states' responsiveness and preparation for the pandemic.”

I am so surprised that people are passing comments ignorantly. The man in that picture is not a COVID-19 patient but a mentally sick person.
He used to live in that building on Taiwo road, Ilorin. The house was sold out and the new owner is demolishing and renovating but the man, instead of looking for other house/apartment decided to turn his car into a house, doing everything there (you know!).
The neighbours were uncomfortable with that nuisance and decided to call on COVID-19 Team (whose contact phone numbers had been well publicised) because of partial lockdown and refusal of few available vehicles to transport him.
The COVID-19 ambulance was sent to take him to hospital for psychological treatment. The driver didn't handle the evacuation well. You could hear him abusing the man. That is what the Governor referred to!
Kwara State has a solid COVID-19 technical committee, rapid response team, isolation centres and excellent medial personnels enviable to other state.
Politics / Re: Gov Abdulrazaq Sacks Driver for Careless Handling Of Suspected COVID-19 Patient by Alhaji1970: 9:08am On May 14, 2020
Kdon2:
Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on Wednesday directed the sack of a government driver that unilaterally attended to an unkempt person who was evacuated with a COVID-19 ambulance in Ilorin.

He also directed the issuance of queries to top officials of the state ministry of health for failing to act with necessary caution and expertise in the handling of the incident that was recorded in a video footage that has since gone viral.

“The Governor totally condemns the shoddy handling of the gentleman who was clearly going through a hard time," Rafiu Ajakaye, chief press secretary to the Governor, said in a statement on Wednesday.

“He has directed that the driver be fired immediately. As the investigation revealed, the driver failed to heed clear directive not to take any action until the Rapid Response Team (RRT) arrives the scene. He evacuated the gentleman with the help of members of the public without waiting for the arrival of the RRT."

The Governor further directed that members of the RRT be queried, while other steps are being taken to ensure this incident does not repeat itself. Involving just anybody in the evacuation of a suspected case, as was seen in the footage, was a clear and dangerous violation of COVID-19 safety protocols. The government equally finds it quite distasteful and unacceptable that the driver, who had long been involved in such operations, made unethical comments to somebody in distress.

"That incident was avoidable, and we sincerely apologise to the gentleman and to the people of Kwara State for the embarrassing development. We assure them this will not happen again."

Maybe NUC actually goofed by allowing them lecture and become Professors without PhD in the past but it seems they realized their error.

The consultants want to continue becoming Professors without PhD. I laugh! Do they actually know the rigors of becoming a PhD holder?
They are not bigger than NUC that regulates them so if NUC says they cant become Professors without PhD then they should either join their colleagues who go on to acquire PhD or get out.

Residency is more rigorous than PhD. It takes between 4 and 8 years of active reading and research work post NYSC to become a Fellow and thence, Consultant.
PhD is too narrow for medical practice. PhD in what? PhD can be embarked upon if needed but not needed to practice nor teach in medical colleges.

He was a student union leader at UNILAG during that period of 1993 struggle for democracy in Nigeria.
In 1995 he proceeded to NYSC at Adamawa State. I know this because we were in the same Platoon at Yola Bye-pass Jimmeta, Yoga Adamawa State.
He was lousy and always had troubles with Soldiers on Camp. Major Onabule was our Camp commandant then. Those who were there in 1995 would remember. Those not born then this is part of our own story and we give glory to God.

Radiological Physics is offered by OAU, Ife, osun state, Nigeria.
At a time only Prof. Olomo was teaching all Reside t Doctors undergoing residency training in Radiology and Radiotherapy at both Westafrican College of Surgeons and National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria. He was also visiting Shell, Chevron and LNG in the Niger Delta.
My son go and find out from OAU.
I have the impression you'll do well!
Education / Re: What Is The Hope Of Physics Students After Graduation? by Alhaji1970: 7:55pm On May 07, 2018
My advise to you is that you should work harder and come out with good grade (First class or 2:1; 2;2 is not good!).
Subsequently go and pursue a Master in Radiological Physics. There's deart of Radiological Physicist all over the world, Nigeria inclusive.
You'll then work in Medical institutions such as Hospitals, Radio imaging schools, Institute of Medical research as scientist. The pay is goooood.

I chose physics as my second choose curse in 1987 before I was dropped to read a more difficult course called Medicine. For about 25 years now I have been practising medicine and I know how relevant Radiological Physicists are.
I wish you the best of luck.

I'm really sorry for this writer.
She needs psychological debriefing. What she's experiencing or experienced is(was) vivid imagery of the dead person, NOT GHOST. It's a usual occurrence in PTSD and some other psychological conditions.
It will disappeare with time but if it persists kindly seek help.

But on a general note, how was the fluid management done? That kind of temperature would have drained the fluid out of that woman in sepsis with or without blood loss from surgical site.
Did you consider DIC? Many questions for the primary managing team and your senior colleagues.

2. For you to take call duty allowance you must do call. Call is work done from 4:00pm to 8:00 am of the following day.
3. You must do this call because it is a calling for doctors.
