I agree with you but their is usually, certain conditions attached to such released and must be guaranteed by a prominent and trusted individual. The question is whether Kanu will accept and abide by such condition and whether he will find someone to stand for him, considering what happened earlier.

Whoever has read the deposition by the CSU registrar needs no other information to know that Tinubu attended and graduated from CSU. The deposition clears the air around whether or not Tinubu actually graduated from CSU while also validates the certificates (whether diploma, transcript, etc) he has been tendering to INEC since 1999. The only beneficiary of Atiku's fishing expedition is Tinubu. Atiku ignorantly used his own personal resources to vindicate Tinubu . Now everybody knows Tinubu did not only graduate from CSU but was also a brilliant student having distinction in most of the courses he took at the university.

My opinion

When we remove intention from a crime, it becomes witch-hunting, a harm, academic, mischievous and injustice. That is why Manslaughter is not the same as Murder even though they both lead to grave consequences
of death of someone. In all the definitions above intention is key.

You now know why, the school didn't regard what Tinubu submitted as forgery whether it came from them or not because it is not in United State Jurisdiction especially strengthened with the fact it is a ceremonial document.

What is submitted to INEC is a photocopy not original. The claim in the document just need to be true. As long as there is no false claim it cannot be forgery. it is simply a copy made inadvertently without doing due diligence.

Again, this issue of Tinubu will be subjected to two Jurisdiction. United state and Nigeria. You can't ignore the country and the school where the documents came from. If US and CSU says it is not a forgery, it is of material importance.

First of all, you brought your friends personal interest into your own by asking him for a loan, considering this, he is likely not going to be 100% neutral when advising you, not because he hates you but because the return of his financial input is uncertain. He knows when you get there, you will need to balance financially first and possibly think of attending to the need of those you left in Nigeria before talking about repaying the loan, these will not happen overnight but possibly after one or two years, secondly there is the tendency that once the door of a helper has been opened to you now, it will be difficult for him to shot it against you when you get there and probably things don't go as expected immediately, trying to close the door then, will breed hatred, loss of friendship and financial commitment. So, I will advise you just seek for his financial assistance without telling him what for, if he can assist, then look for other person that will advise you on a neutral ground. Remember, this is not to say your friend is not genuine in his advise but from my own angle, your financial request has compromised his neutral ground on this case.
