Agbalagba ki wa loja ki ori omo tuntun wo

Omode gbon Agba gbon la fi da ile ife

so because the elders said that, it mean you should disrespect the elder ?

That sir is not Yoruba way of life and value.

I wonder why people are getting angry over Afenifere's moves and tagging it support. Afterall the article says they paid him a visit. The article does not say what was said behind closed doors. Only the fact that they believe with his explanation he should be able to get off. Well let us watch and see, if he is truly innocent, nothing will come of it. Besides he hardly has PDP backing these days, neither is he ACN. So let us see the outcome of all these issues. I think as adults we should know when to make a comment. But this is Nairaland. So the ethnic battles begin. To all those jealous of the SW and Fashola, you can feel free to replicate the same in your region. Yoruba chose their Governors. These Afenifere guys are elders, and should also be respected. They are mostly from that state so they have a right to investigate the situation. I think the present party in the SW have the leadership, but the elders are also important. So both groups of people are relevant and needed.
Egbon mi, thank you. this is what eko ile and others have lost values in.

Yoruba culture is too good and sophisticated for us to be insulting Mr President or Insulting our elders. Ko si to sile bad to ! they are still Yoruba elders until they die. ACN is doing a long term coup and as a Yoruba man, it is my civil duty to do my best to awaken my Brothers and Sisters

This post reeks of stupidity. How can you be in a better position to tell me about politics in Anambra and Igboland when you don't live there. Are you reading your post? Seriously? Unlike you in live in the south-west and you live in obodo America. For all i know, you might not even be a Nigerian. Concern yourself with the politics of Texas and America and leave Nigeria that you know little or nothing about.
Bros afam, calm down, do not result to insults or cheap jabs.

Lets remain civil here.

But on the surface the needs of Yorubas seem to be what ACN has to offer while the needs of Ibos are what PDP have to offer.
wrong again Dayokanu, as a Yoruba man and have lived in the SE for some years, The Igbos have the same needs as the yorubas

1. Constant electricity
2. Good roads
3. good security
4. Economic integration
5. anti-corruption stances in all sectors of the economy
6. Good jobs available for graduates etc

what else do yorubas want that Igbos or any other Nigerian do not want ?

So to answer your question if ACN presents a dead cow, we would vote him in

@Dayokanu,u better reprsent urself!come 2015 if all dis ACN govs don't perform, pple wil vote dem out!!take dis as a joker,if Fashola leave ACN 2day,dat is d down fall of ACN,because it was goodwill of Fashola dat d party used in d last general elections take or leave it!!
Thank you, Odudua a gbe oo!!!!

this is what these people do not understand. ACN does not = to Yoruba party

If ACN does not perform and think because of Fashola, we would vote for them, then they are in for the biggest shock of there lifes

come 2015, let Oyo, Ekiti, Edo, Lagos, Ogun, Osun not be economically integrated with railways and stable electricity then they would see that eyin ti aja ma fin ba omo e sere na lo fin gaje

2015 LP  should be gearing up

One question Dayokanu

why is tinubu dressing like Awolowo, is it that he needs to be awolowo first before he can implement good services for the people of the SW region ?

Did Awolowo dress like Sango or oranmiyan before he could rule ?

Now i believe alMustapha must have seen something like this in the Military Era, awon baba wa ti Dagbaya o, Yoruba, am soooo sad about this very very shameful decision by these old men, no wonder, all the do is put thier children in juicy positions all over the country and tell us they are fighting for us, cry cry cry cry i weep for Nigeria and indeed the yoruba race!
And also weep for tinubu aka Ojuyobo

Olodo, the electorates impose with their votes, not the other way around. It doesn't matter who is on the ballot, it's up to the voters to freely walk to the ballot and cast their votes for their preferred candidates.

So if the likes of Fashola are not Yoruba leaders, then who are? The people the Yoruba people left to lead them or the ones they rejected? How dumb can you be?

Thanks for imposing stupidity and political illiteracy on yourself. Follow follow and gbam gbam is still your best bet.

OBJ imposed his family, Akinjide imposed his family, Tinubu imposed his family, But Tinubu is wrong for doing so while OBJ and Akinjide are right? Can you spell HYPOCRISY?
so OBJ imposed Iyabo and who did Akinjide imposed just another person right !

but tinubu decided to take it to the next level by imposing

wife
wife's sister
daughter
daughter's husband aka son inlaw
and other children

LOL na wa o. I tought they said 2 wrongs does not make a right

dayokanu:
When people are lected to lead them they are called leaders. Fashola and co were elected by ppl to lead them thus they are the leaders of yoruba or Who is the leader of America? I am expecting you to probably say SARAH PALIN  grin
Fashola and co are leaders but not Yoruba leader; They are Nigerian leaders just like Jonathan, aliyu etc. The people living in the SW region of Nigeria are not only yorubas neither are yorubas the only ACN member.

certainly Fashola is not a YORUBA leader but a lagosian leader aka Lagos state governor. Other groups leave in Lagos as well.

dayokanu:
Tinubu IMPOSED the best governor we can ever hope for on us. The best gift you can give to any people is good leadership.
So because Tinubu Imposed Fashola, it means that he should keep imposing leaders on the people abi ? Moreover He imposed fashola not because he SAW QUALITY but instead because he need HIS LAWYER to cover his tracks after looting lagos. Now fashola is getting wiser.

dayokanu:
All of them are doing excellent compared to their peers in the country
NO dayo, they are NOT DOING ANY EXCELLENT JOB

They are doing the job WE THE PEOPLE ELECTED THEM TO DO!. moreover it is not an excellent job but given the fact that Nigerians are use to like of Ibori and Tinubu, it is viewed as excellent cry cry cry

Now tell me which of these GCE or is it YCE that were able to win their street never mind their wards in election?

Is it OBJ and Akinjide whose daughters was disgraced or who?

Whether you like it or not

Our leaders are those we voted our Leaders are Asiwaju Tinubu, Fashola, Aregbesola, Ajimobi, Amosun  fayemi and Mimikos whose popularity would be tested soon by the ppl of Ondo

You accused Tinubu of imposing his family yet you named Akinjide and OBj who attempted same only that they failed woefully. Obviously you are a joke
So Iyabo is also imposing while tinubu has his wife, daugther, daughters husband , wife's sister etc

is it a monarch or what ?

Fashola and co are Governors and NOT YORUBA LEADERS

Tinubu is NOT  a yoruba leader in any form, He is an elitist

Fashola is even more fitted to be a yoruba leader than Tinubu.

Look deep and tell urself the truth, WHAT HAS TINUBU DONE FOR SW/YORUBAS OR NIGERIANS ?

Apart from Fashola , amosun and adams, can you tell me any other SW doing his job well. ?

All that is Tiunbu's doing because he wanted to secure plans from OBJ's presidency and even at that OBJ had to rig the votes of the SW especially Lagos and OYO
What legacy did those men created by selling AD to PDP just because obj is their fellow yoruba ?
1. Go to Lagos today, every single thing working in Lagos is by Fashola and Not tinubu

3. Itsekiris joined YCEs, thus 65% of the oil blocks in the largest oil producing state in Nigeria is under YCE orders after of course the President. Is that Tinubus doing or how do you think the Major MD, CEO etc are of yoruba extract.

4. 30% of Nigeria work forces are Yoruba of the SW region not to talk of SS and NC according to Sanusi. Is that Tinubu or YCE/Obj  ?

5. Jakende laid the foundation to what Lagos is today. Ask Oga tinubu to confirm if what I am saying is false

be deceiving yourselves

1. Awolowo policies are waaaayyyyyyy more advance and sophisticated for Tinubu and his like to comprehend. So stop adding Awolowo and Tinubu in the same sentence because they are of different class.

2. other afenifere can go to hell for all I care. I am typing about Tinubu and not Afenifere

3. YCE are the only Yoruba leaders  today.

Tinubu has enrich himself with money generated from the SW.

Tinubu CANNOT MAKE DECISIONS for the Yoruba people. He has not right to talk after the embezzlement.

YCE is fight for the yoruba course while tinubu is disunitying yorubas and further still imposing candidates.

One day the blind shall see. I hope it would not be too late.

Fashola and mimiko are trying to dissociate himself from tinubu  ask why ? DO you not see these things

why would Fashola; tinubu's friend be trying to avoid from Tinubu ? if not that he knows how bad tinubu can be.

The peak of Yoruba greatness was during Awolowo's ear.

the shallowest period of Yoruba is during the self imposing Oju yobo Tinubu

This is what OBJ and Fashola with other yoruba leaders are trying to let una see, but of course as blind as a bat, you are allowing Tinubu to tell us what the events of the SW would be.
