Tolutheo: Thank you for your time boss, here are the answers below:
1.) No, MIT is a professional masters so PGD is not required for non IT majors 2.) I obtained the MIT Dec, 2017 3.) I obtained the BSc Biochemistry in November 2012 4.) Yes I have a couple of Microsoft Cert: MCSA Office 365, MCSE Sharepoint, MS Azure, MCSD Azure (All obtained between 2014 and 2015) 5.) I started working immediately after my NYSC in June 2014 so I have about 4 years post NYSC experience Positive assessment is highly possible using the Microsoft certs with the MIT, however claiming point for experience is gonna be a tough shot but nevertheless worth trying. RPL is the way to go. https://www.acs.org.au/msa/information-for-applicants.html with very good packaging, you are good to go. |

wapu: Hi Alphadoor and Azy123 please I'm having a little challenge with ACS.
They just replied my application recommending I change my anzco code to ICT engineer.
I applied for developer programmer which is what I do now but I was an ICT engineer.
I applied through the rpl route.
What's the consequences of changing my anzco code besides the money?
Do I have to submit new references?
Will it affect the no of years I should be expecting?
Its not on Sol list and th NSW isn't nominating it what do I do? I want to go ahead and guess that one of your reference letter has your role as "ICT Engineer" and your RPL probably buttress that role also. the software role is new and probably insufficient. with ACS all roles must equal nominated occupation is it ICT support engineer " 263212 that was advised? Changing your anzco code to ICT Support Enigneer means no 189 or 190 (as an offshore applicant .. You will only be eligible for visa 489 Southern Australia. is this also @kayvutton |

morakky: Dear All,
I really need advise on below issue.
I filled eoi with 75pts Dec 4, 2017 and I was invited to apply on the 19th of the same month But I later discovered that I couldn't get payslip for one of the experiences I claimed and since then I was unable to apply for the visa due to this challenge. My question now is can I fill another eoi and remove the work experience, but my new point will now be 70pts or wait for the Ita to expire before filling new eoi. There are alternatives to payslips like... Statement of account showing salary inflow Or tax certificate.... Or pension statement.... |

webmaster3: Dear all, i posted sometime ago on this Thread with regards to a negative ACS assessment as my 5year Bachelor degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering was assessed as Associate and had 4 years experience removed. This was due to my peculiar situation of gaining admission through Direct Entry thereby attaining my BSc within 4 years. I sent Emails to ACS on this but always got a response on some certain criteria being used in accessing University degrees and i fall into the associate degree cadre.
I decided to pay 395AUD and appeal the result stating in detail my academic sojourn from OND to BSC. Got an email today with a positive assessment with 4years returned as well as Full Bachelor's degree.
I would advise anyone undergoing ACS evaluation that got into university through Direct Entry to attach some form of cover letter explaining in detail the process in order to avoid going through an appeal as its quite clear ACS does not fully understand the DE mode into Universities.
Thank you all for the advice i got from this thread. its been really helpful. PTE here i come. Great news. A refund should be in order. |

Fizzywah: Been reading other forums and seen guys receive ITA for invitation round of January 3rd. 70 points for non pro rata up to October 30th (Also confirmed by Iscah).
@Alphadoor what's your DOE?
I was hoping you would have received an ITA by now. Correct me if I'm wrong. Iscah used the word "unofficial" Jan 3rd result....meaning its specualtive at most... only Homeaffairs releases authentic result and that's what i posted here. So till Home affairs releases Jan 3rd result... whatever you see online is just speculation and to be taken with a pinch of salt. No ITA yet... |

ScalarD: Hello House,
Since I can't get 15 points for Degree, is there a way I can get 15 points for experience. I was just thinking of review and adding the experience that I left out and probably remove the B Sc and use Microsoft certification as the qualification which would equally give 10 Points
Total Experience would be: 2 Yr 11 Months + 10 Months + 1 Yr 2 Months + 3 Yrs 10 Months + 5 Yrs 7 Months = 14 Yrs 4 Months You breakdown has clearly shown that you be Mathematicians. And you have actually figured out what to do. No need to remove the Bsc, just introduce the additional years. However it appears one of your previous employment was not considered. I just PM'd u for further explanation. |

koleefem05: This should lift our spirits at least. I’ve seen a lot of people gone into hibernation cos of DIBP’s inconsistencies lately. Let’s be strong people. We’ll all get there
The skillselect results from 9th November 2017 have been collated and DIBP have created a webpage for them to be published to at last.
So results should be "released" shortly for that round at least.
If they do not also publish the results from the 22nd November then it is unlikely they will publish December total invitee numbers. We expect though that there were around 200-500 in the 6th December round. And so it is likely to be a similar low number for the second December round. Probably on the 20th Dec 2017.

planter: Hello guys. Can someone help me out here. I got a message from my assessing body, EA for Electronic Engineering this morning. They said that I should request my institution to send my official transcripts and completion letter (dunno what that means) in a sealed envelop to them before June 2018 to complete my assessment. NB: I already uploaded my own copy of transcript to them earlier on. I applied for Fast track also. I have requested my school for that and placed an order for them to send the transcript to them in Aussie. My questions now are:
(1) What do they mean by completion letter? My transcript already has the date I completed my degree program
(2) How long will it take for them to give me an outcome upon receipt of the transcript? Still under Fast track
(3) How long does it take for documents to reach Australia? I requested for FedEx Courier services.
Final Note: I only applied for the standard competency assessment without work experience. Thanks guys. Its standard prcatice for EA that your school should be the one to send them your transcript. Obviously you must have skipped this in the MSA guideline |
