West Germany

West Germany - in a gorgeous kit it must be said here - were a dominant force in international football
By far the most successful country at the World Cup to no longer exist, West Germany won the tournament three times (1954, 1974 and 1990) and had star players such as Gerd Muller, Franz Beckenbauer and Lothar Matthaus. They never missed qualification and were commonly regarded as one of the powerhouses of football throughout their history.

Muller scored a record 14 times at the World Cup before Miroslav Klose broke that total while Matthaus won 150 caps for his country, playing in five World Cups and nine major international tournaments.

After the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1990, West Germany were no more - ending their existence as world champions while all records have since been passed over to the German national team.
I remember vividly the fall of the iconic Berlin Wall in 1990... I even had a small piece of that wall as a memorabilia after the fall. Just like yesterday... Nostalgic events.

West German footballers played very fluid football back in the day. The true "German machines."

1stGenAmerican:
Sure! I can answer that.

The documents I posted DOES say that 2 sets of DNA were found. One belonged TO THE VICTIM and the other belonged TO YOU.

I am sitting here watching you rile these people up because most don’t have the capacity to understand what those documents state.

ANYONE in the US with credentials that is reading WILL NOT HELP YOU because the more you talk, the more we can tell that you are purposely being deceptive. There is no way on Gods green earth that a jury will find someone guilty when the DNA presented in court belongs to someone not related to the crime. That may happen in Nigeria but NOT HERE.

The people still believing you and asking me questions prove that they are clueless about the US Justice System. The Nigerian consulate will not help you because you lied to them. The person attending your Pretrial hearings stopped going and started ignoring you when the evidence and YOUR statements showed them you were lying.
1stGenAmerican, you did a great job with uploading documents and giving out your legal POV here. You sure know your craft.

Based on all the evidence provided before the criminal conviction, he did the crime.

I followed this story in the news at the time he was standing trial, and only came to this thread to gain some other insights.

But I have a different perspective here. This dude has exhibited a classic case of a mental breakdown over the last few years and this is why he had earlier committed a crime in Japan, and then this 2017 horrendous rape in the U.S. after just 2 months on a visitors visa.

No mentally and emotionally normal man would do what he did to the young girl, and this is the reason why a lot of folks have to go for regular mental therapy with a mental health professional.

We see clear signs of some folks exhibiting extreme signs of dual personality disorders offline and online (such as here on NL that you and I know of). These types can engage in brutal rapes, murder, lies or online defamation, stealing, cyber sexual harassments or stalking, and engaging in depraved pornography if their close relatives do not act to get them checked in for drugs and/or mental rehab!

There will be more Bahs worldwide if we all do not pay attention to little details such as these and build awareness. Period.

Thank you all, I will be explaining each and every evidences as much as I could.......

1, The evidence I sent contained result of the DNA testing by GBI

2, There is also transcript of the testimony by the GBI expert who was testifying on behalf of the prosecution

3, Also there is transcript of the defense DNA expert that I hired to testify at the trial, however the JUDGE prevented my hired DNA expert from testifying to the jury.

However we organise something called DAUBERT HEARING ( a secret hearing that jury will never hear about but it will be on the record ) my DNA expert made it clear at the hearing that the profile of the DNA recovered from the vagina was totally different from my DNA profile and he said in science that is a basis for exclusion as the contributor of the sperm in the vagina.

Even Ms Hinkle that was testifying on behalf of the prosecution could not say that Mr Bah was the contributor.

The Question is whose DNA was the DNA in the vagina?

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

Dear Nairalanders,

First I will like you to know that I am ardent user of this media web and many of the old timers will remember me if I had use my original username, however I chose not to for security reasons and also concerns about the nature of the issue at hand.

More so many of you have read about me online and on all gossips and news website,I also read about it and see various comments from critical people and many ignorant folks.

Secondly,I am presently in prison serving 3 life sentences + 76 years for a crime I do not know anything about and infact my phone GPS showed that I was at different location at the same time of the crime and you will agree with me that it is totally impossible to be at 2 seperate locations ,wearing 2 different type of cloth at the same time.

This is a case of mistaken of identification, the police was aware of this but because I just arrived the country at the time ( Ignorant of the law and constitutional rights ) i was accussed and framed by the corrupt and racist Douglas county police department officers.

Furthermore I have evidences that could proof my actual innocence like ( DNA,GPS,SURVEILLANCE VIDEO,POLICE TESTIMONIES AND ALIBI) but without any serious help ,I may definitely be stucked with all my evidences.

I have gone through 3 difference attornies since my arrest and I currently have the 4th attorney, I have spent roughly $150,000 in legal fees, but i realized it is not just about money, if the good people does not speak out and demand for due process little or nothing may change in my situation.

I have written many independent organisations, few have put me on their priority list but it may take years to reach my turn and some others clearly replied that because I am not American I do not meet up with the requirement.

Nigeria Embassy showed little or no interest,Former Consular Okoliko visited me in jail and he even attended some of my pre-trial proceeding however I believe he had left the embassy or re-assigned.

I recently spoke with Mrs. Okonta ( Secretary/Phone Operator),she has never succeeded in putting me through to any of the consular,it is either they are busy or in a meeting or they have left for the day.

I have no other option than to reach out to the good people on this forum maybe if my story goes viral, somebody may step up to review the evidences.

I have more to say about all the evidences in my possession ( including DNA result) but I will wait to see how this is going before I reveal more or post any of the evidences.

For confidential purpose my e-mail is housepower092@mail.com.

PoliticsRe: Fitch Global Has Confirmed Peter Obi Is The Reason Tinubu Will Win by AlphaTaikun: 8:02pm On Nov 18, 2022
Ylink4sure:
We have been saying this for Months that Obi will not only come a distant third in the election but that his participation and his performance in the election is the reason Tinubu is the next president.

All Peter Obi will achieve is doom Atiku's chances by taking the votes that have since 1999 gone to PDP. Ask those that label themselves Obidients who they voted for in 2015 and 2019 ,you will realise they voted for PDP! And despite this Buhari still won! There votes is inconsequential. Fitch reiterated the fact that just 36% of Nigerians are online!

So, Tinubu doesn't need these votes and thankfully the votes will now be split between Atiku and Obi,with Obi being very weak in the North and Atiku weakened in the South by Obi, Tinubu will win with his more 'balanced' performance.A vote for Obi is not only a waste it's actually a vote for Tinubu!

Fitch has also speculated that violence will ensue after the election! I have been echoing this! The Obidient will claim that were rigged out rather than unemotionally reasoning the facts we have been tabling before them.

Read the report below:

Fitch, the global rating company has tipped Bola Tinubu, presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress to win the 2023 election.

The statement said “comments or data are solely derived from Fitch Solutions Country Risk & Industry Research and independent sources”.

“At Fitch Solutions, we believe that recent polls are significantly overstating support for Peter Obi, the Labour Party candidate running in Nigeria’s February 2023 presidential election. Indeed, we maintain our view that the ruling party’s Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the candidate most likely to win the presidential election as a split opposition vote will favour the All Progressives Congress.

“Surveys showing that Obi is ahead of his opponents Bola Tinubu (All Progressives Congress; APC) and Atiku Abubakar (People’s Democratic Party; PDP) were mostly based on responses gathered online. Since only 36.0% of Nigerians use the Internet (World Bank, 2020), we believe that these results are skewed towards urban, affluent voters who are most likely to support Obi. We also highlight that these polls suggest that a large share of voters remain undecided.

“Even if these surveys were accurate at a national level, Obi’s lack of support in Nigeria’s Muslim-majority North would make it difficult for him to win next year’s election. Indeed, the North is home to the majority of all voters and turnout in this part of the country tends to be relatively high, underscoring the importance of the Northern electorate.

“According to Nigeria's 1999 constitution, a candidate can only be elected if they both receive the majority of overall votes and over 25.0% of votes in at least 24 of the country's 36 states. Given that Obi’s Labour Party has limited infrastructure in the North, he will struggle to meet this second voting requirement.

“Indeed, the Labour Party is not even running candidates for the Senate and House of Representatives in many northern constituencies. Furthermore, the northern electorate historically tends to vote for presidential candidates from their region. With Obi being a Christian from the South (Anambra State), increasing his voter share in the North will prove challenging.”

Fitch added that Peter Obi is unlikely to win the presidential election.

It said, “While we believe Obi is unlikely to win the election, he will probably do well for a third-party candidate. Indeed, a third-party candidate has never reached more than 7.5% of votes in Nigeria. However, due to his frugal reputation and large social media following, we expect Obi to get a higher share of the vote than previous third-party candidates.
“As such, we believe that Obi’s popularity will most likely split the opposition vote, at the expense of the PDP. The PDP’s candidate (Atiku Abubakar) is a Northerner and we believe that the party’s only route to victory is expanding its vote in the South West and North Central states, while retaining large majorities in the South South and South East.

“However, given Obi’s popularity in the south – especially the South South and South East – we believe it is unlikely the main opposition party will be able to gain more votes in these parts of the country.

“Indeed, we maintain our view that the APC’s Tinubu is best placed to win the presidential election. We expect that the party, which has nominated a Muslim-Muslim ticket, will repeat its strong performance in the North. Given that Tinubu is a former governor of Lagos, the party is also likely to improve on its performance in the South West. Furthermore, we expect Tinubu to benefit from incumbency advantages, with the APC having been in power since 2015.

“Protests and social discontent are likely to increase in the aftermath of a Tinubu win. Since Nigeria’s return to democracy in 1999, there has been an informal agreement that resulted in the presidency alternating between Northern and Southern states as well as between Christians and Muslims.

He tried to Ignore it when he was asked about the sham investment once again but they wouldn't let him be and kept asking him which annoyed him further hence he replied that the investment was next to nothing!

Looking at it, it's annoying. I mean, Peter Obi used Anambra state funds to make an investment his sole property in the end yet he kept saying it brought money to the state. Imagine. Someone who looted huge amount of state funds while using the said money to make an investment his sole property in the end, instead of the state property yet still kept saying rubbish.

RomanceRe: How Does A Young Teenager Figure Out What To Do In Life? by AlphaTaikun: 6:12pm On Nov 15, 2022
pansophist:
At 20, you have the wealth of time. To tell you how important time is, will you prefer to be a billionaire at 90 years old, or just average at 20? Well, I'm sure you'll pick average at 20. That's how important time is. If you learn a skill and start a business with it, in even five years time, if you're good, you'll be set for life. The formula of wasting your 20's studying some useless course just to be in school, measure shoulders with friends, and indulging in hedonism is a recipe for failure. Sadly most youth follow this path. Is it not proof enough that most graduates are unemployed, underemployed, and wrongly employed ? And even those with good jobs self are paid lower?

Forget about university, that's assuming you have finished secondary school. Studying in Nigeria is to prepare for the past, for sure not the present, and definitely not the future. If you must study, look for an online university from the west, and get your degree there. Also start a business. If you start a business today at 20, when you're 30, your business is 10 years old, and would have grown so much to set you for life. Then your 30's would means you're an eligible suitor, and you'll enjoy the attention women enjoy right from young.

And on business, the skills that most people look down on can give you billions. The differences between KFC and Aboki chicken is marketing, packaging, structure, expansion, modernising, and other know-how to grow a business. Also garment making, you can keep improving yourself, follow market trends about whats on reign, register your business, professionalise it, expand, and you can actually be as big as Nike. The mind is your limit, not the sky. Search for grassfield on Instagram, the two Cameroonian sisters built a multi million dollars company selling African clothes online. Same clothes that lots of talented tailors just restrict themselves to small shops. Same with Gymshark wears, "dollars having club" and many more.

your 30's would be a phase of a committed relationship, kids, and being responsible. You don't want to be in your 30's and broke, and then you're too big and egoistic to start low, and financial burden from parents begin piling up. You can be forgiving in your 20's if you can't deliver, but not your 30's. So when you voluntarily go handle life's impending responsibilities before it comes knocking, you'll be stronger and equipped to win, but if the responsibilities come knocking on your door when you're not ready (eg you're 30 feeling ashamed and start looking for a job and a wife), life would be hell.

20's are the age of trial and error, you have time, and please don't waste it partying. It goes so fast. Suffer now and enjoy layer. The truth every wealthy person know is that life is a race against time. Your opponent is not the economy, government, friends, but with time. So start running early, so by 30, it's easier to reach the goal post from the middle, instead of from the starting point. Time is the most important currency in the world. Talk to lots of old people, and they will tell you this. Don't wait until you're old to find out, use your youth and start building.

I see many of my age mate (I am in my early 30's) and feel sorry for them. Many of them wasted it doing rubbish, spending it studying some useless course, without understanding the age we are in. They operated in the template of the past, that their parent operated in without the consciousness to see that times has changed. All my 20's was spent hustling, meanwhile, at 20's, many think they are young and have time. When you're 20 years old, 30 seems far. But when you're 30, 35 seems closer, and then you'll have a bigger responsibilities in your hand, and you must deliver, or else? Hmmm.

When you're in your 20's, you can be stupid, and people won't be disgusted by you. You're a potential, you can be anything, and will easily be forgiving, but it's not the same in your 30's. In your 30's the question is, "what are you doing", not, "what do you want to be"?. Girls would also be disgusted by you if your life is not put together and you'll have a low self esteem, and for a right reason because there is nothing virtous about about an old infant. People will disrespect you and if you're not a strong person in spirit, it's just a one way road to hell from there.

You can argue that hell is an afterlife thing, but i can tell you for free that hell is also here on earth. There are people living in hell, and you'll know because they'll be so ashame to look at your eyeball, because they don't want you to see the hell they are in. And in many case, those in hell are usually older people that wasted time they can't recover, but when they learnt that lesson, it's just too late. I repeat, time is your opponent, and don't waste it. For that's the true meaning of "make hay, while the sun shine".

But preferably, I would advice to learn a skill. Even me that went to university, I haven't seen my certificate for years, I just pack am one side. My skills business that I started in my 20's feed me, I can't be sacked. So learn a skill and start a business with it. Tailoring, shoemaking, car repair, IT etc.
Nicely put.
