Hanzzyyy: Hello Nairaland Members, If I book an appointment with TLS and It's a family that wants to go the same day, will I book the same date and time for each member or I do Flexi? And is it each family member that Will pay the Flexi or only one family member? Looking forward to a response from anyone available thank you... WOULD ALSO LIKE YOU TO EXPLAIN ON THE FLEXI IF YOU THINK I SHOULD DO THAT BECAUSE I WANT TO DO COURIER RETURN AS I WILL BE LEAVING ABUJA AFTER BIOMETRICS⚔️ Thanks The booking is done individually but you can do biometrics same day but different times if available. Just make sure you are fast when booking for each person so you won't miss out on slots available per time per day. U know a lot of people are on this platform making their application too Alternatively, you can pay for walkin if any of your family's appointment date or time is far apart |

mcafeez: Hello house...Please someone answer this
If it important to reveal your any visa refusal during PCI pre-cas interview.
Or
One should only reveal visa refusal during UKVI visa application.. Do not reveal for one and fail to reveal for the other (saying NO to one and saying YES to another - these people share info) The choice to reveal or not to reveal is yours but ensure you have your refusal letters readily available (the school might ask to U upload) |

giselle237: UKVI does not know pinch or shoes, there are guidelines. Follow guidelines and not shoe pinching Same reason the Op wants to do the right thing by doing a change of address but you that drafted the study route policy with UKVI knows they don't entertain shoe and pinching |

ibenzerkess: 1. You have to understand that before you went to the embassy for the visa, you declared that you have the money to pay for your full tuition. 2. You and the school agreed to pay your tuition through installments. And if there are 4 installments to pay and you have defaulted on the second installment, what is the probability you can pay the rest . 3. If said the student can settle his/her debt before leaving the school or graduating. How will you do that if for a whole year you weren't about to get the fees. Remember, once you graduate you have limited number of days to stay in the UK. 4. If you think they are exploiting you cause you own £800 and got dismissed, then go to schools in Europe that are tuition free. No one is forcing any of us to go and study in the UK. It would be a waste of my precious time to engage in conjectures. I addressed the £800 issue and it is exploitative and nothing more. Nothing is cast in stones, rules are made by humans who themselves subject it to changes every now and then. There is a reason FAFSA is there in the US and there is a reason people on student's loan are groaning under its exploitative tendencies in the US even after graduating decades ago. Stop defending capitalists, they won't spare you when you in their black book |

Gurus please advice me. I want to do my biometrics next week. It won't raise any eyebrows as long as you really got a new job. I mean who gets upgraded and won't want to update his or her level? |

I want to use this information to estimate the date I should be expecting when I go there on Monday. Also, is there something that can be done to get a close date because I’m sort of running out of time. Thanks Go prepared (ready to pay) and very early to their office and do manual booking, you might get lucky do test same day. On the ukvi site, it is boldly written that applications can come 6 months before the course start date but in some other quarters, I hear three months to course start date. Which is best to go by? Dear respected ladies and gentlemen You can apply 6 months if all the docs eap from the school) you need for visa applications are ready then |

freesty: Hi guys, Quick one please. I did a TB test back in December 2021 in hopes of using it to apply for Visa to study at Teesside University(Jan 2022 entry) however I couldn't proceed with that visa application because "Teesside happened to me" & I didn't receive a CAS, which resulted in my offer getting deferred. Question now is can I use the same TB cert( has Teesside University address on it) to apply for visa to study in University of Salford where I got another offer, OR I need to another TB cert that will carry University of Salford's address. In addition, does the TB cert has to be valid for when visa application is submitted or has to be valid too at point of entry? Thanks in anticipation of responses... If your test cert hasn't expired, you can go to their office for a reprint @ 8k with the new address of Salford Uni on it |

stfranko2: please how long does it take for chester university to confirm payment and send CAS after initial payment Though, Chester uses an archaic payment channel, but shouldn't take forever to confirm. In addition to waiting for confirmation, mail them your evidence of payment ASAP. There is a new CAS system in place (CAS Shield) where you are required to update and then upload about 3 or 4 docs (Genuine Intention form, 28 days statement, etc) before getting your CAS Hope all this you asking isn't for May intake? |

cutebear: Lol! My school fees for MBA is £35k. It's one of the best business schools in the UK. My friend that is in Oxford University is paying about £65k for her MBA. The career prospects and connections for going to a top UK school is worth it and top companies like Apple, Google, Amazon etc like recruiting directly from those schools. That's why we don't mind the fees because the salary benefits after graduation is enormous (including the calibre of people we will have in our class which will lead to strong industry connections). I can't wish nothing less but good luck! On your connectingggg |

ibenzerkess: It's sad, but the reality too is that when you look at it as a whole, you might see it differently too. Imagine about 1,000 students own about £800 that means the university has lost close to £1,000,000.00 (£1M). And normally no one does business with a defaulter. That's why we all need to plan well before going which unfortunately most of us don't. Why would a Uni lose £1m going by your calculation? Won't the students eventually pay? Or is anyone here advocating for free education from the Uni? A student with £15k tuition, and owing only £800 at the end of his or her program should not withdrawn at that stage. He or she can always settle the debt b4 leaving the school or graduating. And I'm not talking about those who didn't plan and have huge bills to settle. I'm talking about this £800 case. Simple! It's exploitation and nothing more |

Could one in the house help suggest how to get a discount from the school ?
