I got an offer at the uni of Bedfordshire.

So, on my offer letter they said I should pay 65% of the tuition as deposit and the remaining 35% can be paid in full at registration or installments (5 months).

So I sent a mail to the school asking when I can opt-in for the installments and that I will be bringing a dependant.

Someone said I took a wrong move by asking them about the 35% installments. That it would seem like I don't have the complete tuition.

So, please guys, I wish to know what your opinions are. I only wanted to get clarified at the point one can opt-in for the installments.

You ve already asked, so, just wait for their response. If they don't want their students opting in for installment payment, then they shouldn't have made it an option in the first instance.

You don't pay for CAS but only pay tuition deposit as part of conditions to fulfill.

Do your calculations properly in line with your unconditional offer/ course start date/ last date of CAS issuance etc to be able to work out when to start and end your 28 days POF

When you eventually apply, your annual expenses plus expenses on the trip should be little (30% to 40%) compared to your annual income

- You must first make a visa application online @ www.gov.uk
- fill all necessary details,
- pay for your IHS/ visa fee (if you intend to use TLS VI in Lagos, you pay £55).
- After the payment, you ll be redirected to TLS site to book for biometrics on any available date n time
- You then upload all your documents if you want self service
- if it's assisted service you take those documents to TLS (assisted service is additional 11k)
- irrespective of which service you opt for, take all your original documents along go to TLS for sighting


The whole process doesn't take an hour depending on the queue but no queue for now

You ll have to sleep over in Lagos to avoid missing your appointment as Lagos/Ibadan express can be unpredictable. However, if you sure you can make it on time to Lagos from Oshogbo, then book an afternoon (12pm to 3pm) appointment @ Ikeja TLS if available. (6am to 10am traveling on your way to Lagos)

Print all TLS email appointment booking notification, your international passport, your POF, CAS, Credentials, and any other docs you think should help your case

If your importation biz is what you intend to fill in as your occupation, biz acct is needed.

In the absence of a biz acct, your personal account should suffice but filling in importation biz with it, is a call for concern.

Covid vacs isn't compulsory.
All Covid protocols have been relaxed since 18th March.

Some time ago, I posted here about UK dependant visa refusal due to errors on their part.

I applied for Administrative review, and the refusal decision was overturned and withdrawn 26 days after my AR application.

Does anyone have any idea how long it might take UKVI to ask for passport re-submission and granting of the visas after a successful AR?

It is two weeks now since I received the Administrative review success letter.

I have used the paid call to reached out with no tangible result/information.

My enquiries
1) how long it takes to ask for passport re-submission?

2) how long it takes to collect passports/visas after submission?

3) any medium to contact UKVI about status or follow up after successful AR?

I want to ask another question, my sister is in the UK and will be sponsoring my visit visa trip plus accommodation and feeding, do I still need to submit a statement of account for my bank account or just my sister’s statement of account.

You will most likely need your statement

However, What does your sis do over there?
What visa tier is she on?
In the application she filed for you, what did she say you do?

Good day fam. Please I’ve gotten an unconditional offer from my school and they’ve also sent an email that my CAS is ready but they can’t send it yet until my POF is up to 28days.

School will resume on 23rd May and my pof will be ready on 11th April. Then I’ll go for biometrics same week

My question is, now that visa takes up to 6weeks I’m afraid my visa won’t be out before school resumes in May 23rd� Will this be a problem, or can I still be granted access into UK after my school’s resumption date?

I would advice you upload the conditions of your offer and wait for a review before making a deposit.For the university I got a conditional offer I was told to wait for my conditions to be reviewed before going ahead to make payment.

Yes, and it would be clearly stated in your offer along with other docs for upload which then turns your offer into unconditional. Most Scottish schools are flexible and pocket friendly (not seen any asking for 50% on enrollment) unlike England schools

Some get conditional offer first while others get unconditional straight, either ways, you ll pay deposit.

Getting 28 days out of the 6 months shouldn't be a deadline thing. Just walk into your bank and ask for statement from a particular date to another if you don't already monthly statements via emails

It is mainly for international students and researchers who want to study in the UK.

ATAS has to do with some sensitive tech oriented courses, the U.K. Govt wants to ensure such technological know how do not get into the hands of rogue individuals n nations e.g. Nuclear technology, Advanced Military Warfare

That shouldn't be an issue however, I will advise you consciously and intentionally start building evidences to support your relationship aside the marriage certificate, wedding pics. Evidences like Chat history, dating pics etc

Don't think she needs to pay anything. Is she fully vaccinated?
Anyways, as at 18th of March, I think every Covid restrictions have been removed
