You can choose to register as a family but since you have done so individually, it's still good. Yes you pick figure 1

Your Genuine Intention to Study Form has to be top notch and personal.

If you have a prior refusal, think it thru b4 declaring especially if you don't have the letter again

Make sure your financials is up to date, duly stamped and there is a printed date on it

Get other docs ready just in case they ask

Their offices are in ABJ n Lagos. Visit either of them close to you for a manual booking. You might be lucky to book, pay n get tested same day. In fact, if you go very early and got tested b4 11am, you might get your results same day. The rush n queues have disappeared.

Will they still ask for POF before issuing me CAS after payment of 4k deposit, but now they didnt mention anything related to that?

They most likely will ask for P O F b4 CAS.

Do your homework and planning properly to avoid spending unnecessarily. It's in stages, so try and put timelines on each stage to guide you better

Conditional turning to unconditional do take some times but to avoid your agent wasting your time, reach out to the school

How long did it take for them to review the documents you uploaded. I have uploaded everything except for my bank statement and I am waiting for my POF to mature which will mature on the 1st April. Which coincidentally is the deadline day for CAS request. I hope to upload the bank statement first thing in the morning once I get it.

Max 3 days your CAS should be out barring any rejection of your uploaded docs. This particular case took 9 working days

Yes, it was issued to the person after like 9 days of initially submitting all docs, though some docs were rejected - reason for the delay. Another got hers in 3 days

There is no deadline, just make sure you pay on time and with a verifiable channel for easy verification on your test date

Paid mails has been sent several but ukvi kept extending the waiting date from 10 working days to another 15 working days . Been to TLS several but they claim it not with them yet

Some agents are funny and enemies of progress while some are God-sent.
To start with, if your communications with the school is configured in a way that you also receive emails (copies), good!

If not, find a way to have access to that email (some agents do open fresh emails for their students while denying them access to it). The mobile no used in opening such emails are usually that of the student. Then, you can take it up from there and retrieve your email with a new password

This is not an issue as a married woman.

Have you done the usual change of name, affidavit, newspaper thing? Get all your docs intact and you good to go. And also, get supporting evidence to show strong n subsisting relationship with your partner i.e. Pics, chats, receipts etc

Same goes for both of you. Apply to schools with the old while renewing, then update the school as soon as the new one becomes available. Make sure your visa is on the new one

Modified: anyone who is interested in cheap school with low tuition fee and minimum deposit can look into Sheffield Hallam university since Hull has closed most of its courses for international students for September 2022.

Sheffield Hallam University offer;
Fee for MSc Mechanical Engineering £14,895
Discount: £2000
Deposit £1000
The fee is equivalent to £12,895 but 50% on or before enrollment. But I don’t know if Sheffield Hallam university requires pof and precas interview before issuing CAS. Anyone who has info on this could pls share or contribute. Thanks

Hull 2k deposit 11k no pof no discount , no precas interview but they have closed applications for most of their courses for international students.

Ulster; school fee is around 14-15k depending on your course. Deposit is now 3000 unlike before which was 2000k, discount is 2000k, they requires pof, and there is precas interview, 50% before or on enrollment


Northumbria 2k deposit , no pof , 2k discount and school fee start from 15k depending on your course No precas interview, no questionnaire… very fast when it comes to CAS less than a week when they confirm your payment, 50% before or on enrollment

Middlesex 1k deposit , require pof, no discount, school fee is around 15k still depends on your course, you might get lesser fee Bcus my course is basically MSc Mechanical Engineering or Data Science/ Analytics
( precas interview yes) , 50% before or on enrollment

Sheffield Hallam 1k deposit but 50% before or on enrollment

Essex 2k deposit, no pof… have no idea what the school is

Swansea 2k deposit, no pof , school varies from 19k - 21k depending on what your course is, No precas, questionnaire will come along with your offer, 50% before or on enrollment

Stirling 2k deposit, 22,000 fee , discount 4/5000

Huddersfield deposit is now 5k unlike last year September/ January where deposit was 2k/3k but no pof, 16k fee, I wasn’t given discount , no precase interview… only questionnaire for CAS , 50% before or on enrollment

Glasgow 2k deposit but the school fee is very high

University of Brighton 2k deposit

Plymouth 2000k deposit, 15k fee, no discount, requires pof and precas interview, 33% before or on enrollment

London metropolitan university , school fee is around 14-15k, discount 2k, deposit is 3k, requires pof, have no idea if there is precas interview. They are very fast in terms of admission they respond / gives offer between 2-3days, 50% before or on enrollment

University of Hertfordshire, as at last year September/ this year January intake, deposit was 1k for Nigerians though on their website and on your offer letter ( the standard deposit is 5000k ) but they allows Nigeria to pay as minimum of 1k Bcus of difficulty in forex, school fee is around 13-15k depending on your course.
Requires pof, and there is precas interview, no discount.
This year January intake and last year September was 25% before or on enrollment but now it’s 60% before or on enrollment
