People, pls read the latter part of the news report.

Atiku applied in court to have his people inspect the ballot papers.

INEC called his legal team that they will be allowed to inspect.

Since his wish was already accented to by INEC, there was no point in requesting for the same thing in court. So, he removed the application not to waste the court's time.

Sweetheart, I see no reason a well brought up man or woman would raise his/her hand against their significant other. It is not justifiable with either gender. Whatever could have created that mindset that it's okay for a lady to hit her man should be discarded asap to ensure a beautiful future is not jeopardized.

Obi is my man but let's be real. Can you control a stubborn or drunk driver? These BRT bus drivers drive like they own the road. Same applies to container carrier drivers and all those lorry drivers.
They just want to oppress and intimidate others with smaller vehicles.

There is a limit to what the government can do, we as individuals should learn to do better.

If the complaint department for the BRT buses had taken previous statements from the populace serious, a review of their drivers using ghost passengers to test them out could have gotten the bad ones weeded.

Also, the employment procedure should include psychological evaluation.

It really could have been avoided.

One area of good I noticed is that kidnapping news on nairaland dropped drastically to none on most days.

Bvas machine is not a machine for uploading result..

It’s a machine for accrediting votes..

To upload a result on a portal, it’s done from a computer. It’s the same process with the way universities do upload results on portal..

So clearly, the mistake must have come from while uploading..

During accreditation, our pictures were taken. Surely, the BVAS can capture result sheets as well. The results I've been seeing are all sheets placed on a table or so and picture taken. BVAS machine should be able to capture it as well.

However, I'm only half accepting of the credibility of the elections in general. INEC and law enforcement are below par with expectations.

Let them register the twins now for adoption. That way, foster parents could be gotten for them before the delivery date.

Depends on the crime and statute of limitations of that crime. If the period of covered by the statute of limitations is passed, the law overlooks it.

One of those days you give a huge kudos to the Nigerian Police for efficient work done despite limited modern resources.

Even if the FG obeys the court order that declared his rendition illegal, that does not stop his ongoing trial.

The FG can easily hand him over to Kenya on Kenyan soil and get them to sign his extradition without delay and have him back on the same flight the same day .

His initial trial has been affected. While the FG was trying to play smart by adjusting and adding to his charges in court, elements of his initial trial had already been included in this trial he won and since you can't charge a person for the same offence twice (double Jeopardy), he as well as won every single previous case against him.

That is why the govt cannot charge him again.
