Probably made money with her writeup |
Normally, the caretaker would have free accommodation considering he is also the landlord's son and for him to go as far as moving out himself possibly verifies this. He wouldn't state an obvious lie with over 20 survivors. Even though the tenants were given quit notice and were not paying rent, what might pin him could be if the law required that he make a report to the housing authorities. I hope he doesn't lose more. Human lives were lost and surely, a culprit is always sought. |
NessFortunate:That might be the only way to lose the case as the Constitution itself has the evidence needed to make the Constitution null and void. The line below "A Declaration that the preamble/introductory passage to the 1999 Constitution inserted into the Constitution by the Military Government which says “we the people of Nigeria have resolved to give ourselves a Constitution” is a lie when in the actual fact it was the Military Government that came up with the document and imposed it on the Nigerian people without any contribution from the Nigerian people; it has therefore rendered the Constitution illegal, invalid and null and void and of no effect on the ground of naked lie fraud. However, bringing this up so close to elections would have every political office aspirant pulling all punches to see to the failure of the case. |
FutureIsFemale:The case was between the state versus the Ogbuja family members. The deceased girl is Ogbanje who was living with their family. While one court failed to find Mr. Ogbuja guilty of rape despite the girl's video evidence, the other was able to find Mrs Ogbuja guilty of negligence in protecting the girl in her care and cover up of the rape when the girl voiced out. |
somehow:I couldn't find the video |
danngnews:Lucky then. |
Being a former pro boxer, Mike will be found guilty in court if it gets there. Mike could have called an hostess on the guy who could have given him a warning or gotten him out with security. The man might have intentionally provoked Mike with the hope that Mike would react. Mike didn't disappoint and now the man might cash out from the remainder of Mike's remaining fortune. They got Mike....again. Patience is a virtue. |
He is outside the cell. Probably in the corridor. |
Anyone? |
Kingdom 4 is out |
1. You're asked to send money to an account and collect double the amount in 30minutes/2hours. 2. SEM (Social Exchange Market). Claim is they collected a huge amount from an unnamed Christian group based overseas and this group gives out grants to countries every year. SEM claims that the money sent to Nigeria is due for disbursement. My personal litmus test for businesses is to know where the source of income comes from. If the person telling you is chopping mouth or giving an unsatisfactory answer or even blocks you over being asked to give a name, that hints at a potential scam. I have some people I need to see real live responses from Nairalanders. Please post ONLY if you've had first hand experience with any of the two above. Thanks |
These attacks are well coordinated than the regular. Most likely ISIS is involved. There is a end goal and I feel those in government are the target. First was to scare the airlines, then the train line. Now, they will probably ambush soldiers sent to clear them out on that road. Informants probably at the end and start of the journey trench to inform them of the movement of troops. |
chatinent:They don't have a moral say on the matter. When Russia wanted to site a missile site in Cuba, the response was "We will nuke Cuba". Check out the Cuban Missile Crisis. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cuban_Missile_Crisis Now, they want to repeat same on Russia using Ukraine. |
There was no mention the lecturer is male. Probably female. Either way, a good number of schools have dress codes. The lecturer would be in the right if the action is in line with the school rules |
@FERNANDEZISBACK, we still are feeling the effect of NATO in the Libya rebellion to overthrow Gaddafi. The place is not the same and the excess of weaponry is what filled BH ranks. African nations only later lamented the action of giving NATO a field base to launch operations as the agreement with NATO did not include overthrowing Gaddafi. When NATO is vindictive, they carry out their plans when given little leeway. Why won't Russia be paranoid? |
MMWandali:They know the DPP takes time and no one wants to waste time and in jail for that matter. This prompts people to want to settle rather than wait till the wheels of fate get spun by DPP. |
Rastaramsey:To have even gone online to search for the plagiarized version before sending the screenshot screenshot screenshot speaks of looking for that excuse. |
MMWandali:They know the magistrate court does not but the DPP advice is always needed to say if there is a case or not. Once the case is valid, they then forward it to high court for trial. It is a process followed to reduce burden on the high court so that only valid cases are brought before it. The long wait is usually for when the DPP advice comes in which could take months. |
MMWandali:This is pending the DPP advice which can say to discontinue the case or proceed with trial at the high court. |
lailo:It might actually be the presidential thing is why he is trying to get back. It will be a love story that voters will relate with. |
I think eren will be attacked by his own pals as destroying the entire world is waay beyond the scope of destroying marlay. Ever noticed that once the fine looking enemy boss turns to a fierce monster, the hero then has the strength to off him? ![]() |
GabsonFX:There are some times events happen around us and we take it out on the wrong person. There was a time someone ran away with my money and I took it out on a prospective client by misbehaving. It was after I had spoilt the show that I realized he was a very big fish. It happens to us all. As long as we know where we missed it, we can easily retrace our steps. Been a while, hope you've been good. |
There is a reason people like Toks2008 'seem' to encourage divorce or separation of irretrievably broken down relationships. Around 50% of homicides of US female victims are committed by a loved one. Though in love, the cousin hate, is just around the corner. https://www.theatlantic.com/health/archive/2017/07/homicides-women/534306/ If there are early signs of violence, it is better to pull out on time before it gets aggravated. Better alive and unmarried than living on borrowed time in the name of "I want to bear Mr or Mrs". |
@hotplay, this is the police monitoring unit link on twitter. https://mobile.twitter.com/PoliceNG_CRU Call the number on their page and explain. They will tell you what to do. Two wrongs don't make a right else you will enter a huge issue beyond your Wildest dreams. Don't tamper with the phone. Don't even attempt to blackmail or make demands from the cop. Simply call the monitoring unit tonight. Wishing you well - Teemy |
Miccolosblog:Use PayPal. You can link your Nigerian card to PayPal. I think there is a $100 or $200 limit on spending per month to Nigerian cards by the banks. |
@Alvanbenjamin Repost the receipt with the amount paid so we can look at it and compare to the 13k amount per month the rent was increased to. Redflag you erazing that part. Everything written below is based on the assumption that you paid in full. For a one year or above rent tenure, you should be given 6 months prior notice in case you were being pushed out. If you are owing, you only have 7 days notice. For rent increase, three months prior notice is also the norm. However, the rent increase has no effect on you whatsoever as you had paid in full. You can only be affected by it by your 2023 date. The landlord simply wanted to raise rates two months after your 2021 payment and felt coercing you was the way to it. They then decided on evicting you but a lawyer would know that the one month notice is illegal. The so called court order looks fake. By the way, that is not what a judgment order looks like. If you noticed, it was from your landlord's lawyer to you and not from the judge to you. In a proper court case, you would have been invited to court by the bailiff with service notices which you would have signed (even if you reject to sign, as long as the bailiff lays eyes on you or pasted the notice on your shop door, it is as good as signed) which he would have presented to court on the appearance dates even if you refused to appear while the case goes on. If you never heard of any court case before the so called court order, most likely, it was forged and that is certainly not a court judgment from a judge. The 'lawyer' there might end up in trouble. The way forward would be to visit the court premises and confirm if anything like that exists in their records. Try to present photocopies just in case the lawyer has an insider working with him so your evidence does not get destroyed. Ask for the court registrar and confirm. Trying to wring the lawyer to not disturb you by telling him he should leave you alone at a threat of revealing he is a fraud might not be safe for you as that has been the tactic he has been feeding with for many years. You knowing will never make his mind at rest. Just saying. Simply approach the police or local high court's law Bar office asking for the president with your evidence once the court confirms the fake papers. Also, you still have to deal with your landlord. He might as well be included if it is found that he was in cohorts with the lawyer to perpetrate fraud. At this point, you are simply just letting the law take its course and things might get messy. It is up to you how far you wish to go with this but that's the facts for you. The decision making afterwards are yours to make. You simply want to finish your stay in peace. Never lose focus of that. Take a peaceful solution once they present it and have witnesses when it is agreed and documented with copies. Get evidence of the resolution. Wishing you well - Teemy |
I am more bothered about the corruption caused by delay in salaries. At least, they know their salary when they were employed but when they are owed 6 months or one year salary and are still expected to appear at work (meanwhile their terms include not doing any other side business except agric related), it is almost as if they are indirectly told to "use what you have to get what you want". In short, government itself encouraged civil/public service corruption |
