Eddie was driving down the road and met a car coming the other way. Although there was room to pass easily, Eddie forced the oncoming car to slow down and wound down his window and shouted 'Pig'. Astonished, the other driver looked in his rear view mirror and swore at Eddie. Then his car hit the pig. |
http://blackgirllonghair.com/ http://www.naturallycurly.com/ Everyone's hair is different, but I've been natural for 6 years now. I've gone through a lot of trial and error to get my hair to where I want it to be. Moisture starts with your water intake. Keeping your body hydrated will keep your hair hydrated. Light oils and creams can be great, but too much can clog your scalp, create build up, and its already summertime so mix all that with sweat. If you use a light cream-based moisturizer, shea butter or oil oil can be used to lock in the moisture. There are a lot of online resources for natural hair that talk about helpful and harmful ingredients to help you avoid drying products. Your washing regimen and the way you keep your hair also has a lot to do with moisture retention and remaining knot free. For example, I only detangle my hair when I'm washing it. Also, I wash my hair once a month and conditioner-wash in between. Conditioner-washes get the hair clean, soft, and full of moisture because shampoo usually strips the moisture away. Protective styles are not only convenient, but they also keep your hair from being tangled and help retain moisture. This includes braids, twists, and buns. Even if you like wearing your fro in full effect during the day, a regimen of moisturizing, twisting your hair, and wrapping it in a satin/silk scarf at night can produce great results. Let me know if you have any specific questions. ![]() |
They lengthen the legs, accent the calves, and help with walking more gracefully and maintaining a nice posture I love heels |
Sry, I tried. You guys can change it back. |
I say "No, I don't think that would be a good idea." and smile and walk away... If you keep it friendly and casual they usually get too offended. Sometimes, I say "Why would you ruin the moment we are have by exchanging numbers? Let's just enjoy now" Wit and humor go further than malice. I'm too old for fake numbers, too old to have someone blowing up my phone, and if I actually like him, he'll get it(with a little effort). |
lol, touche...It must be my voice |
The problem was Mr. Ibe. It must have been. All the women of the village knew that there had been a baby once. What wife doesn't have her secrets? The Ibe's had grown used to the mockery. Their childlessness was a distinct feature, like a limp. On happier days Mrs. Ibe would joke about it herself when friends came to visit. She was always one to make the best of things. That's why he loved her so. Because they had no children, they would host all of the major events in the village. She could boast of the cleanest home. Her optimism and lack of children gave her a beauty and a figure that many of the women envied. Their words never cut so much as their eyes. She would smile and go about her work, tend to her husband, and make treats for the village children. For the women, the only thing worse than their husbands' wandering eyes were their children's unwaivering adoration for "aunty." Only one woman in the village was truly and deeply her friend, without reservation or judgment. |
I can't stand for a man who has only seen me and barely spoken to me to profess love. It is insulting and cheapens the experience of true love. If you like me, I'm open to exploration. You can't love me until you know my flaws, shortcomings, and pains. I'm more than my looks and a few passing words. |
Keeps Ijebabe's picture in his pants^ |
Not all is bad, but the common sense of it is to be alert, be discerning, and guard your own interests closely. You can reach out to friends and family you know for advice, just get more than one opinion and do what seems right. We live in the age of the internet so for a lot of practical information there are trustworthy websites. If you don't have a computer, they are free for use in the library. While money is a major concern, building a personal network is important. If I couldn't eat tomorrow, I have more than one house to go to for a plate and even a bed. There are a lot of immigrant service agencies that have counselors who can provide assistance and advice. Learn to cook and clean for yourself. It is very expensive to pay for someone else to do it abroad. School is great, but don't fall for those expensive programs that give people worthless degrees. Do your research about the ranking and quality of the school. Limit smoking and drinking, they are expensive habits that can make you undesirable. Befriend people who are either where you want to be or fast on their way. This does not mean you take advantage, but you can learn from them. Get involved with religious organizations if you practice. Having a routine like church or the mosque can help build a network of people doing good things for good reasons. Humility, kindness, and respect will do wonders even if it is not always returned. |
You could try it on with stomach padding at see how it feels/where it hits. It's cute. |
I rap like Christmas Once a year I'm on ya wishlist I knot wack emcees in a bow Point'em out in the crowd like ho ho-- ho But that ringing in your ear ain't jingle bells Call me The Bachorlette- my single sells I'm not a rapper-- I provide lyrical translation for my swag Weighing in with my words so ya ears start to drag Ya rhymes are so far behind they call it jet lag I use the space between your ears for my landing pad Don't get mad--At the best thing you never had See, I'm a survivor-- Went from an independent woman to a Bonnie and Clyde rida I put ya rhymes in a box to the left, kicked it down the steps, and you know the rest Rappers treat me like I have an S on my chest I see signs like S.O.C... Save-Our-Cypher! So I took the mic from the last clown and drew crowds like the Pied Piper |

Aggressive drivers are the ones who try to get even after we cut them off. |
You can't help who you like or who you are physically attracted to. It's not wrong unless you act on it. Acting on it can be spending time with that person, talking to that person often, or more serious indiscretions. If we were punished from our thoughts...smh. No, I would never tell a partner. It would only foster insecurity and jealousy. |
LOL...Actually, she was a really good friend of mine visiting from Philly and I went through crazy Chinatown with her looking for the shades. I wasn't judging her purchase, I just never thought much about brands. I tend to dress in clothing that I can afford from places where I can afford to shop. I feel like if I'm wearing a knockoff then I'm making the fact that I can't afford the real thing more announced than if I didn't bother trying. It's my personal sentiment, but if it makes you happy wear it. |
Mine is Senegalese twists. It's a simple and sexy look that's low maintenance. |
I like the airbag joke Top 10 Ways To Fail Your Driving Test 1) Challenge the instructor to a drag race after the test finishes 2) Insist on playing your own mix tape really loudly while driving 3) Rev the engine and beep the horn furiously if any kids wave at you through the back window 4) Slow down and whistle and holler at any attractive people. Question the instructor’s sexuality should he/she disapproves 5) Tell the instructor you only drive sports cars and can’t be seen driving the test car 6) When asked if you are sitting comfortably and can reach the pedals, bend down, touch them with your hands and say, "Yep, no prob" 7) When asked to turn left, turn right instead, when asked for an explanation. say, "Oh you mean my left" Park in a handicap spot. When questioned, explain that you are too drunk to walk very far...9) Ask the instructor to duck down when passing by a group of your friends as you feel he/she may be bad for your image 10) Ask the instructor if its possible to travel back in time. Also ask if you need to apply for a different license for time travel. |
@ Coldfeet That was definitely a thought I had. I know I've said some outlandish things to discourage a guy who was interested. I think character, personality, and compatibility are important. However, there is nothing wrong with trying to couple things things with financial security, even if it can be fleeting. At least I know you are ambitious enough to get the job even if you loose it. Or that you want more from life and will work hard for it. I don't mind working with a man, but his starting place when we meet and where he progresses as our relationship progresses will tell me about where he might be going. My standards for a man are based on my standards for myself in terms of conduct, character, judgement, and status attainment. I have more to bring to a relationship than looks, so he better be bringing more to it than money. It is so interesting that looks and money are the relationship dichotomy that most immature people fall into. |
This police officer stops this woman on the highway and walks up to her and asks her if she know why he stopped her. "No.", the woman replies. "Because you don't have any tail lights", the police officer told her. So she get out and walks around the back of the car and started crying. "It's just tail lights you don't need to cry." "It's not that... where is my trailer?!" |
This poster is the same one a week or two ago asking whether or not she should marry this guy because his attitude and moods have been worsening. Girl, don't pay for a wedding that you have doubts about. You didn't take the advice of the people from the last post, so you probably won't take this either. These were the OP's complaints as of April 20th copy and pasted from the other thread: 1. Isnt showing much love and affection: for someone who is getting married, i feel that the love and affection, the eagerness should be there. 2. Always entering moods. today he is in a foul mood and doesn't want to talk to me. tomorrow he is another foul mood and wants to be alone (even when we are together. 3. I am the one always doing things for him, always setting dates for us to go out, always making out time for us to see, sometimes it seems like i am forcing him to do things together with me. 4. he doesnt even seem excited to be getting married. When we talk about it, i just get this non challant attitude again. Been asking him when he wants to come and see my people formally, and all i get it 'you are pressuring me', i need to get some things in place first. Also, OP posted that the two of you were having intimacy problems in a post in 2010. Frankly, I'm not impressed with this guy, and I believe you are settling. You seem to be setting yourself up for unhappy times. So you were just saying he's selfish, moody, and not excited about getting married and now you wonder why he won't pay for it? My advice is yes a woman can help with the wedding, but from what you have said about the type of man he is I would take his financial commitment as a sign of his overall commitment. It seems like he's been giving 20% your entire relationship. Good luck dear. I certainly wouldn't advise you to make any major decisions because I don't know either of you well enough. Sorry this seems harsh and critical, but you are making a life long decision that will affect your future and your children. May God help you with your decision. |
No Parking Zone A minister parked his car in a no-parking zone in a large city because he was short of time and couldn't find a space with a meter. So he put a note under the windshield wiper that read: "I have circled the block 10 times. If I don't park here, I'll miss my appointment. FORGIVE US OUR TRESPASSES." When he returned, he found a citation from a police officer along with this note: "I've circled this block for 10 years. If I don't give you a ticket, I'll lose my job. LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION." |
One cab driver said to another: "Why have you got one side of your cab painted red and the other side painted blue?" "Well, when I get in an accident, the police always believe my version of what happened, because all the witnesses contradict each other." |
He is acting strange but jumping to conclusions will not help the situation. Give it a rest and let him seek you out. He may be dealing with something bigger than romance right now. If he doesn't seek you out then it's over, but don't assume that he's a player or evil. Things happen in life. Just give him his space and don't treat him badly if he does come around to talk. Listen and make sound judgment from there. If you want no part of being patient, then let him know it's over politely and move on. Best of luck. Don't blame yourself for his shortcomings. |
Tell him to RUN!!! There are too many honest women in the world. It is difficult when you love someone to leave her, but trust builds a home. The wedding should at the very least be postponed for a few years to rebuild the relationship and develop a relationship with the son if he were so foolish. Can you imagine? I couldn't bare such news before a wedding. |
You find that kind of thing appealing |
Is she not your mother? |
