Select all provinces as you are entering the pool. Any of them can send an NOI at any time

tubabainc:
Let me share my mid-term testimony. I got my ECA report this morning and it was sent to IRCC 2 days after I lost 5 points to age. I am undeterred as I will keep pressing on. IELTS is also in the pocket(maxed out at the first attempt). Who can direct me to where to get swimming trunks so I can dive in....... I am willing to explore all options though. I want to appreciate this group, you guys have been fantastic. Please who knows which province regularly takes paralegals/Legal researchers NOC 4211?

VFS in Nigeria is open for some visa applications but NOT for Canada applications.

Canada has approved opening in certain countries (Nigeria isn't there yet). Until they do, no biometrics here yet.

nenelistic:
Please, I’d like to know if the biometrics office in Abuja is open and how to go about booking an appointment. Cheers

Any of them. Masters is Masters. The only people with specific bodies as outlined by IRCC are doctors and pharmacists.

Tolueneno:
Good day

Has anyone evaluated MSc in Public Health here? Which evaluation body was used? Have gone through different threads no one has mentioned public health.
Please help.
TravelRe: Living In Canada/Life As A Canadian Immigrant Part 2 by amaya21: 1:13pm On Jun 25, 2020
Check that score again. Be sure you're not calculating work experience in Canada for you and your wife, except you actually have work experience in Canada.

As 19CannyMum said, there's no need to look down on blue collar jobs. Those are valid jobs and they are an honest day's work for many.

Be mindful of the "mercy of a working woman" mentality sha. Anything can happen in a marriage - what if she is the only one supporting financially for a while? Does that make you feel like less of a man? It shouldn't. Life happens. In Nigeria, Canada or otherwise.

Lajiniran:
I don't speak Queen's English. But report writing won't be a problem at all.

You know how it is here, I don't have work experience in area of study. 1 year as admin officer at a University, 1 year as admin officer at an IT company and 5 Years at a paramilitary organization.

I don't get the message at the bolded part. Kindly explain

My forecasted CRS score is 470 alone, if my wife applies to doing wes, ielts etc, we will get to 650.

But we are considering studying in a college for her cos she has science background, to study practical Nursing diploma even though she has Bsc Biochemistry (Science Lab Tech option). We assume, this will help her get good job easily and ultimately have a career in Health sector.

So, the Study visa, after months of study, she will apply for open work permit for me to come over, then I can bring our 3 kids along. I don't know if that plan makes any sense, but as expert you may understand.

But my fear like I said is my field getting jobs, I don't want to be at the mercy of a working woman in a no mans land.

Thanks

Just add it to your personal history section after ITA (not work history pre-ITA). Overlaps are permitted.

Kilz89:
About one of your latest posts, I also had a TRV application some time ago that didn't go through. There I didn't include a work experience ( I have a registered E-commerce business where I'm one of the directors and we have a website) because as at the TRV application, the e-commerce business was just some months old.

Now my spouse and I are getting ready to enter the pool but I won't be the primary applicant so my work experience will go to work history.

Do you think I should include my position in the e-commerce business in my work history? It's a side hustle so the date will also over lap with my regular job too.

Please how do I handle this?
Thanks

Yes. Use their Contact Us form on their website.

FarmGang:
Thanks. Can I request WES to stop the evaluation of my BSC to avoid delays?
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by amaya21: 11:14am On Jun 23, 2020
Only the primary applicant needs to submit reference letter and proof of employment. Spouses generally do not claim work experience pre-ITA (unless the work experience was gained in Canada and it can add points)

olayinkareal1:
Hello all, please I would appreciate your help on this;

For a family process, is it a must that the wife bears the husband's name/surname?

Lastly, if you are not the lead applicant, do you also need to submit a reference letter from your work?

Thank you

I'm telling you. Smh

BlestHanneSSG:
Lol.. you go fear 'the normal one and IDP'.
And when you direct people to page 1 to get a full grasp of how these things work out, some people will either feel you're too harsh or just want to take that shine by providing shallow answers thereby encouraging the re-asking of questions that have been answered over and over.

It's well o.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by amaya21: 7:40pm On Jun 19, 2020
Yes you do. You'd know the difference between IDP and "the other one".

philaw:
I doubt I need to read anything. I just wanna know if the exam can be written despite the lockdown and all? Just a yes and no.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by amaya21: 7:24pm On Jun 19, 2020
You have a lot of reading to do. Please read page 1 of this thread.

philaw:
Please, I wanna write IELTS. Is there any difference in IDP and the other one for Express entry application?

Plus is the normal one available to write despite the Corona issues around?
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by amaya21: 1:19pm On Jun 19, 2020
Standard message for anyone over 6 months.

kennedychinedu:
Good day all, please how many of you guys have this information on your application after the processing time elapsed "your application is taking us longer than usual to process".
Thanks for your response in advance.

Is his wife younger? Does she have Masters or BSc or two certificates? They should simulate the score using her as the PA (with husband as accompanying and non accompanying). Some families choose to have one spouse go first and sponsor the other.

NairaLuck:
Good evening everyone, I am enquiry on behalf of my brother.
Please advice on the best route to Canada, if express entry can work.

So my brother is 39yrs old, he's doing very well.

He's got about two businesses, works in the port clearing vessels and makes very good money month. However his qualification is SSCE.

He's interested in immigrating to Canada with his wife and kids and our cousin.
If it's the money to show proof of funds he has enough to show with proof to his sources of income.

Please what's your best bet?
Thanks alot

Did you just submit your profile? If yes, it's a normal automated message.

Olamiikunle:

But no changes observed when i logged in..

The Canada VAC hasn't opened yet. People need to follow this page for updates:

whytey:
Hello, for the past week I have been trying to do my Biometric Enrollment via online but I keep seeing ' No slot available for 1 Applicants'

What does this mean? Does it mean that the CIC center has not yet open or what?

Someone please make me understand!

Thanks!

If you are writing IELTS in Nigeria, you can only use a valid passport as your form of ID. You can easily confirm this from the websites of MOD and BC now.

punchyy:

Yes you can.

r4blessing:
Hello everyone, please I currently have 2years, 5 month as an auditor, and 8 months as a teacher. Can I use that as 3 years in my application.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by amaya21: 4:29pm On May 30, 2020
Two years. If you're still working, you can wait 2 months to claim 3 years. If NYSC isn't one of these work experiences, you can add that to claim 3 years.

chuksey1:
Hey guys i have two different work experience the first one was 1year and the second one was 1year and 10 months. So my question is which duration of work experience is most suitable for me 2years or 3years or more

Any Naira debit card that has online transactions enabled should be able to pay for ICES - even though they say they only accept credit cards.

gingerspice:
Good afternoon. Please I decided on ICES for my ECA evaluation and need your kind assistance with information on the application type used and most importantly how you made payment for the evaluation.

ICES only accepts credit card for the online application. I would like to know if it's possible to use someone else's own or must the card be in my name?

Thank you very much
