Unless your spouse's work experience is in Canada, it doesn't add any points to the PA's application. You can leave it blank so that you/your spouse don't have to run around for reference letters or other proof of employment.

yinksob002:
Hello House,

When creating an express entry profile, does it matter if an accompanying spouse's occupation falls under NOC skill level C. Just want to know if it doesn't affect eligibility in anyway.

Thank you.

Is there something you don't want to show with the other 3 months? Are you using gift deed?

kkk21:
Please everyone,

A friend of mine told me that its possible to print 3 months statement of account instead of 6 months.

Please, can someone confirm this for me?

Your mother isn't your sibling and therefore you won't get the additional 15 points. See here for more info: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/eligibility/criteria-comprehensive-ranking-system/grid.html

My mother and yes I transmitted it
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by amaya21: 3:15pm On Jun 17, 2021
Is the relative you updated a sibling? If yes, did you transmit the application once you submitted?

Dude04:
Hello Gurus in the house, I updated my relative in Canada last month but the CRS - Additional - PR or Canadian Sibling is still 0 and no increase in my point. Is this normal?
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by amaya21: 1:18pm On Jun 16, 2021
It is not a problem but ensure you can get a reference (and possibly any other accompanying proof) for any job you list pre-ITA. Don't list anything you can't get documentation for.

The reason most people stick with 1 or 2 (if they have up to 3 years in an eligible NOC) is that it's less hassle to deal with documentation for just 1 or 2.

Dennyjuff:
Please When filling the EE profile. Is it okay to list out all job experiences even if U’re not claiming points for them? I’ve seen some people here say to only fill the job u’d be getting a reference for. And put the other experiences in personal history after ITA. If I fill in all job experiences is it a problem? Thanks

You can enter the pool as soon as your ECA is out and wait for them to resume FSW outland draws to take advantage of any tie breaking rules. ECA is required to enter the pool.

You shouldn't get medicals or PCC yet though. Do those from the UK as right now no one is sure when draws will resume and how long before you get ITA with your CRS.

Preshyi:
Hello house,
I recently wrote IELTS with my husband and we both got 8.0 band score and my assessment with IQAS is on final review while his own with WES is complete and I will be the primary applicant. But because of the Canada travel restrictions I would be going for my 1 year masters in UK in September for now. My question is if I can create an Express entry profile now or hold on till when draws begin and also how I will go about getting a PCC and doing my medicals if I get an ITA while in UK. I need your inputs please.
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by amaya21: 4:00pm On Jun 15, 2021
Nope. Just go ahead and create a new profile. Whatever date you create a new profile is your new profile creation date.

Olamiikunle:
Good afternoon house.
My Express entry pool profile expires tomorrow.
Is there any way i can link the profile to a new one?..so i dont miss out of the entry date ranking system when ever a draw comes up.
I appreciate for any responses. Thanks

Another option is to send to Cairo VO through VFS Cairo. You can contact them here for more info: info.caneg@vfshelpline.com

The problem would still be payment though - you need to figure out how to pay VFS fees in their currency. When I sent mine, the fees were paid through an international wire transfer from an account in the US.

YesLadyN:

Update!
Accra returned my passport on Friday without the stamp undecided

Now, Ircc has given me instructions to send my passport again. Question is, can I send it to Abuja VAC instead? I learnt the passport will go to Nairobi VO. Reason why I’m considering Abuja is that I have not been able to get hold of who’d help me pay in Ghana cedis to Accra VAC.

Pls I’d like to know if the VO I send my passport to matters since I’ve already used Accra before

A few people get asked for updated POF or 6 months bank statements after AOR during the course of processing (not many sha, but it does happen).

Not to scare anyone but this is why its generally advised to leave the amount of your POF till processing is done. You can change from mutual funds to cash or Naira to USD but the amount should remain above the minimum for your family size.

angrybutsane:
Hi, wouldnt the Vo only know if he doesn't have the required amount only when they ask for POF again.

I mean like he submitted but the pof wasnt up to required amount the first time or let's say it was . But upon asking for POF again, it wasnt since he took out of it and didn't put it back.

Except we saying the VO checked with the bank to know his balance .

Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by amaya21: 9:31am On Jun 09, 2021
See the bolded...that's what caused your friend's issues.

As long as someone has the complete amount during the entire application process (and possibly until landing), they are fine to change between one form of POF and another. IRCC can ask for updated POF at any point in the application process. Only a few get asked at landing and it's usually to see the total amount exceeds their minimum for the family size, not to ask why someone changed from mutual funds to cash or something like that.

aduku1:

Please inform before u do anything...
The law is that the funds be available in that account from the begining of assessment till the end...I know one who was reject much later after a year because the funds was not up to the required amount at d final assessment, he removed part of the money after he had submitted his application

I am not 100% sure because I don't personally know anyone who has done this, but if you already have a transit visa or can get one easily, you can try it out. If you don't already have this visa, I don't know what the timing for the visa appointment is like at the US embassy. Depending how much time is left on your COPR that could play a role as well.

Edozie1271:

How about getting a transit visa through the US and make landing in Canada. Can that work? Because when you look at this, they added connections through the US

I did with my family last month and this route fortunately worked for us. However, we already had valid US visas. As Lagbaja88 said, dates for B1/B2 type visas are booked solid for quite a while.

Edozie1271:
Please has anyone in the house travelled through the USA into Canada? I mean applying for a valid US visa and then making you landing in Canada?
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by amaya21: 8:52am On Jun 03, 2021
You can leave it blank. Many people don't put the spouse's work history pre ITA so that they don't have to run around getting documents to prove it post ITA.

After ITA, you can just put his work experience in personal history and no documents will be required to prove anything.

Zocken:
Good morning people. Make una help me o. I am creating EE profile. I noticed a section for spouse's work experience. Do I need to fill it? His NOC (security officer) is not available and I am the principal applicant. Can I leave it blank? Please help!!

It is possible - she can apply with unaccompanying spouse. However, he must still be listed in her application (although as unaccompanying). Also, she must still get him to do medicals and her POF should cover him and any kids they might have. This applies even if he is unaccompanying.

adeniyi3971:
Guys please I’m back again with another question.

My sisters husband is not interested in migrating.

Will it affect my sisters application?
Can my sister apply without him?
I’ll welcome any additional advise. Thanks in anticipation

Certainly not physical cash - I doubt anyone expects you to carry the full amount in cash.

We printed a bank statement a few days before the landing, but no one asked us to show POF (I hear they ask some people so if you are landing soon please carry yours just in case). I forgot I took the statement till much later.

oyukuwife:

Was it ur statement of account or physical cash? quote author=amaya21 post=101920340]Not sure what details you're looking for so please clarify your question. Thank you!!! Honestly I couldn't bear the thought of having it expire and then having to wait for IRCC to get around to reopening my file and reissuing the COPR. It was very inconvenient to do the landing at the time I did but it had to be done.

GraciousWords:

Wow! Congrats Amaya!!! So Happy it worked out for you.

Hi, haven't been here much recently. Yes, I used the US route and was able to do my landing smiley I needed to move fast as they only gave me till May 25th despite the fact that my medicals are valid till November 2021. (Yes, I wrote to them about the short time period but they basically told me I'm on my own).

So we went through the US to do the landing to avoid expiry of the COPR.

seunpinky:
@amaya21, any update on when u are relocating? I know we both got CoPR at about the same time. Been waiting for the govt to lift the travel restrictions. Did u eventually got tru the USA route as advised by mammaroon?

Who are the "they" that said gift deed is not advisable?

Yes its possible to use money market funds and treasury bills but if the source of funds is new (within 6 months) you will still have to explain how you got the funds.

Emmy2009:

I just read about those. They said it's not advisable. Also found out I can use money market and treasury bills. Please can u advice on the other two or tell me about other options I have. Will really appreciate it

Have you checked your own CRS with just a Bachelors and your years of work experience?

zeb04:
. Hello thanks for the reply.

Although i am 27, i can’t be the PA right now. Even though i am currently running my masters, i wont be done until march next year.

I will look into the Pnp because he is opposed to writing french.

If he includes me as accompanying right now with just a Bsc, it will reduce his crs score to 443.

You need both to claim points for 2 or more degrees, which is higher than the points for one degree alone. "Highest degree only" is for those with Masters or a PHD, or only a Bsc and nothing else.

Pls do I have to evaluate HND and OND seperately. Since Wes says submit highest degree should I send just my HND.?

No need for birth certificate UNLESS you are using it to claim the additional 15 sibling / family points

joselekas:
Hello seniors in the house,

Please I saw this question on Quora and can't find a place where a Birth Certificate should be uploaded to my eAPR application page.

Is there anything I am missing? Or should I just upload it as part of an optional document?
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by amaya21: 2:51pm On Apr 10, 2021
473 is still a very good score. Even if you miss the first draw, you won't miss the next two draws. Unless you have a birthday approaching any time soon.

Uzland:

Thanks, dear. Yes, I noticed that the high score was mostly brought about by the 'Valid job offer', cos I recalculated without it and got 473 instead.
My question now is, how possible is it to get a valid job offer while you're outside of Canada? What are the usual requirements by employers to give a job offer to someone outside Canada? Thanks.

Dom account card or get someone abroad to pay for you with their account.

mimini:

Hello house, the charges using barter by flutter wave to make payment for ECA is too much. Can anyone suggest other means of payment? Its urgent please. Thank you.
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by amaya21: 1:56pm On Apr 06, 2021
No one knows when the next draw is. Especially for medicals - those last only a year. If you do it too far ahead of ITA, it is very likely that they will have to be redone at some point in the process at your own cost. Since draws aren't regular now except for PNP and CEC, it's best to wait to do medicals

nowhere:

Really?

Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by amaya21: 8:57am On Apr 06, 2021
You don't need a police report and medical to enter the pool. It is advisable not to do those too far ahead of your ITA. Just do the basics - IELTS and ECA

AgreatMan:

This prediction strong o. cheesy

Make I go gather my documents. Who know where I fit do police report n medical? Like play like play, this thing fit be true
