Their is this lady I have come to develop feelings for. She is a graduate and intending to go for service before November... it's just this pandemic
that is delaying things. She is also a member of my church and serving in one of the service units. I have been observing her for a while and in the course of time grew feelings for her.

I took courage and approached her and she told me she is engaged to be married this December but the problem is that after that our chat she has been tailing me. She always comes around me to sit close to me during service meetings. Some times she'd be starring so much at me that you'd wonder. I'm beginning to think wether she actually told me the truth about her relationship status earlier or she is just trying to hold on to me as alternative just incase here marriage plans with the other guy goes south.

Please friends I need your sincere advice on what to do as am confused. I really love the lady and would like to marry her.

See, there is only one way you can know. Ask her again what the situation is with the so called relationship and the vibes you are getting. She is engaged not married. Whatever you do, be sure don’t let her string you along though. I have seen plenty engaged people ending up married to other parties inside this life

It’s the worst thing any parent can do showing they prefer one child to the other. Why not first ask if they have PPE in that hospital? I hope you know what PPE is?
Without it, no one has any business attending to a suspected case of Covid-19.
Most general hospitals in Nigeria don't even have hand gloves, let alone PPEs.
Your guys are ignorantly focusing on the health workers who are given nothing to work with, instead of on the government which has failed to equip the hospitals.

Dear Nigerian Authorities,

It’s not the best of times for hospitals in Nigeria. There has been a dearth of information from the authorities, except for WHO and the public announcements we read in the newspapers & social media by the minister of health and NCDC.

Consequently, all hospitals are hardly making any preparations, as they have no official information from the authorities on what is being done at the country or state level and what should be done at the facility level. Response at the healthcare facility level seems left to chance. Facilities are left to fend for themselves. (We are only relying on WHO and SCCM websites for info).

Several things need to happen to prepare local healthcare facilities for the upsurge in cases that might be reported in the next few days/weeks.
1. National COVID-19 dashboard to monitor cases. Official source of truth.
2. Guidelines for escalation of cases. Phone numbers, addresses, online reporting, contact persons
3. Provision of COVID-19 test kits, PPEs for medical personnel.
4. Pre-deployment training for staff on the frontlines
5. Facility-focused Communication from any national, state or local authorities.
The above will be the starting point in fighting emerging COVID-19 epidemic in Nigeria.
