Megarule:Government is adding more dual roads particularly in Awka, the GRA 6 lane roads in Awka has been completed, Esther Obiakor with multiple lanes is nearing completion. More of such roads are also under construction at Awka millennium city. Even more is needed. We hope to see more road projects after the rainy season. Particularly Nnewi has been neglected over time while government presence is focused more in Awka and Onitsha. APGA has taken Anambra far ahead of most states in Nigeria led by either PDP or APC. 4 Likes |

Work Picks up Speed on the Biggest Conference Center in the South East. Construction work has gathered momentum on the International Conference Center, Awka. A recent visit to the construction site raises hope on the likely delivery of the project on schedule. The Center is likely to become the biggest Conference Center in the South East with a sitting capacity of 5000 people at a time. It is one of the major legacy projects of the Governor Willie Obiano administration. A visit to Coscharis Rice Mill, Igbariam - with James Eze and Joe Nwabrije Behold the modern, impressive and fully automated Coscharis Rice Mill, Igbariam. With a daily milling capacity of 60 tonnes and a yearly capacity of about 40,000 tonnes, the rice mill co-owned by the Anambra State Government and Chief Cosmas Maduka, an Nnewi-born billionaire businessman and owner of Cosharis Motors, was started in 2017. It has now commenced operation. The construction of this rice mill was aided by the enabling environment created by Gov Willie Obiano whose passion for agriculture, investment in security and the Akulue-uno drive ensured that this great milestone was achieved. Theatre Arts students of Alvan Ikokwu Federal College Of Education, Owerri, Imo state visit Anambra Broadcasting Service, ABS, applaud the station’s digital broadcast equipment Written By Emmanuel Okonkwo Students of Alvan Ikokwu Federal College Of Education Owerri, Imo state, accompanied by some of their lecturers could not hide their excitement as they toured the new digital studio of the Anambra Broadcasting Service, ABS. They praised the sophisticated equipment at the ABS digital Radio and Television studios as they were given a guided tour by the ABS Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Chief Uche Nworah. The students rated the station high saying it ranked as the best they had so far visited in the South East. Addressing the students, Chief Uche Nworah charged them to work hard so as to benefit from emerging employment opportunities in the broadcast industry. Anambra State Govt. Clarifies Status of Land In Nkwelle Ezunaka GRA, Onitsha metropolis, Confirms Rotech Energy Services As Genuine Developer It has come to the attention of the Anambra State Government that agents of two firms, namely, Next Agro Transformation Ltd and Hillside Estates Ltd, have been spreading false and misleading information about the ownership of the land in GRA, Nkwelle Ezunaka in Oyi Local Government Area. The agents claim that they are the rightful owners of this place where a modern residential area is being developed. They have even been selling plots of land in the area to unsuspecting members of the public. The Anambra State Government wishes to inform the public that the area known as Nkwelle Ezunaka GRA has been given to Rotech Energy Services Ltd to develop into a modern estate with over 500 houses. The Memorandum of Understanding to build the estate was signed on July 5, 2019, at the Governor’s Lodge, Amawbia. Rotech has already carried out the surveying, plotting and comprehensive planning of the site. It has also cleared it. The state government is impressed with the pace of work by Rotech Energy Services at the site. It is, therefore, fraudulent, audacious and vexatious for agents of Next Agro Transformation Ltd and Hillside Estate Ltd, who are not known to the state government as stakeholders in the project, to claim in the mass media ownership of the huge expanse of land on which Nkwelle Ezunaka GRA is being built. The public is hereby warned not to buy any piece of land from these two firms because they are trespassers and interlopers. The appropriate government and security agencies have been directed to make these firms and their agents feel the full weight of the law. Let us repeat for the umpteenth time that the 1999 Constitution, as amended, vests in the State Governor power over every land in the state. Please go to their website and read up about the development of area. MPI has planned the area, and will provide roads and build up some parts to show example. Mr Ikeakor whose presentation focused on “Effective Organizations structure for an Investment Promotion Agency” said to attract increased flow of investments, creation of new institutions and rehabilitation of old ones requires a pragmatic and efficient organizational framework that can turn around their investment climate to attract more Foreign Direct Investments, FDI and Domestic Direct Investments, DDI. The Executive Director of ANSIPPA, Mr Ifediora Amobi observed that the promotion and protection of investments can be enhanced through a Public Private Partnership, pointing out that regional collaboration, aggressive marketing with skill driven initiatives can grow the economy of the region. The Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano, his wife, Chief Mrs. Ebelechukwu Obiano, the State Executive Council and Members of the State House of Assembly, Traditional Rulers, Otu ndi Ichie Aguleri, and many other dignitaries, celebrates a High Mass for the Commissioning of the Rehabilited and fully Equiped Immaculate Heart, Hospital, Aguleri. Historically, the Hospital is where His Excellency was given birth to. In line with his firm resolve to giving ndi Anambra, a working health care system, he decided to give the hospital, a face lift. The project which was completed last year, and will be commissioned today. The high Mass is being celebrated by the Catholic Archibishop of Onitsha Archdiocese, His Grace, Most Rev. Internal roads of Electrical International market Obosi-Onitsha metro getting facelift. ANSG gave all the markets in Anambra financial support to attend to their pressing needs. The Electrical International market added their own funds and used it to asphalt all their internal roads within the market. This will further improve the ease of shopping in the market because shoppers come from all over Nigeria and beyond to buy electrical materials. Omnibus:Please stop saying that. Are you aware that the oldest secondary school to berth in Anambra and SE at large is DMGS-Onitsha which is own by Anglican Church. Anglican is equally the first mission to arrive in Anambra via Onitsha, from there they spread to other parts of SE. Anambra is shared between Catholic and Anglican in almost equal proportion.
