Family › Re: "My Husband's House" by Amhappy(f): 4:44pm On Jul 19, 2017
Because for most Nigerian men, they are the owner of the house. The wife is just a little bit above a tenant who can be thrown out at any time. Wife ownership start at the man's demise. This is more reason why more women are hustling and selfish with their money.

I stopped reading when i saw "She was born with silver spoon in her mouth". Its difficult to move from silver to wooden even if its temporary. Most ladies from this category of parentage,do not like to hustle. And if she's trained with 'class' attitude, sorry. So from my conclusion, the main issue is your present financial status. She married with the believe that things will get better, faced with the current challenges, she's frustrated with the situation and threatening to leave. I can relate to that.

She's spoilt and do not cook or clean: still boils down to above. If she had 3-4 maid growing up,i dont expect anything better. However i think she should have gone for her 'class' since she cannot cope with a hustling man. For you to be cooking alone and all that after work is stressful.

She cannot walk as fast as you is a non issue,i cannot keep up pace with my husband either. Na walking competition. grin grin

She hates her job: Why not convince her to manage it till you raise money for the business.Give her a time limit to it,lets say 1year. Half bread is better than gala. She's your helpmate and should be one financially. 5k/day na beans haaa. A civil service job is not even that stressful. Work out modalities for baby's care;a nanny or creche.

Wifey Exposing Secrets to Neighbours: Joblessness plus frustration. Spell out the boundaries and maintain them. This is very important.

She Nags: I also do.That will stop with maturity. On the issue of raising her voice on you, that will also stop with maturity. Beating and slapping is a No No. She's a talking machine and make blind arguments;its well with you bro. I can't handle that. She keeps malice; Try and joke with her after every episode. Do not sleep with a grudge, make it a rule.

Fighting and disgracing herself in the neighbourhood: More reason she should go back to work. If she have an elder one, tell him/her.

Her Father harassing you: Pay your father inlaw a visit and have a discussion with him. He's your father by marriage. Let him know what's up with his children.

Still have more to say but I don't want to waste my saliva ooo

Do you want to continue with the marriage or divorcehuh

rusher14:
Are those saying the location is riverine thus suggesting such places should never expect development?

Are they also willing to accept such reasons for the stiffled growth of the Niger Delta?

grin I think difficult terrain are not easy to develop. It costs more money and time so a lazy government use that as an excuse.
Politics › Re: The Cry Of Igala People In Anambra State(igala Plight In Igbo State) by Amhappy(f): 2:06pm On Jul 13, 2017
These communities are the riverine people. I know Igbedor is mostly Igala but the other communities I think are mostly Igbos. They are underdeveloped because of the difficult terrain and their location is kinda-off out of sight. Most of their business is Agriculture,so farmland are valued. I never saw it that they are marginalized but they are minorities so it's possible. I visited Umueleum(not sure of the spelling) 13yrs ago and their road was very bad. I don't know if that has changed. Riverine Anambrians need good roads and a link road to the upper land will make the area appeal to investors. Obiano please take note.

Osibanjo is simply doing his job. If Buhari is very sick, you don't expect him to say that. He is not just anybody but a direct beneficially. Years ago Goodluck Jonathan was mum when his boss was sick too and he was not even acting president until Dora Akunyili(God bless her soul) stood her ground during FEC meeting.

I agree that information on the President's health is not well managed but for Osibanjo to spill the beans NO OOO. And i am a full blooded nwa afo(Igbo) not an afonja.

A great lover of the Lord i know died last year because he was refused treatment after being shot by kidnappers. He begged for his life but doctors insisted on police report in a government hospital ooo. He had more than enough money to pay. When he finally got help in the clinic of the IOC he retired from it was already too late, shock had set in. Implementing this law will proved to me Sir that you did not die in vain. Amarabae:
Election must hold in Anambra.
Nnamdi kanu should not shoot himself in the leg,
Anambra is one of the Top 5 most developing state in Nigeria and it will be a disaster to see APC take advantage of these issue to take Anambra.

APGA or PDP is okay for Anambra,
The election will hold and Obiano will return for a second tenure.
Simple.
*let me go and check my pot of stew in the kitchen jor*
Nne PDP is not okay for Anambra biko. Have you forgotten so fast. The first time PDP was in power workers was on strike for over one year. Allocation was seized and shared by Godfathers. The second time all government properties were burnt for fight for power and the Governor was abuducted. Riot here and there,I witnessed it first hand. We don't want them again. We have experienced peace since APGA took over. Let APGA continue.

@ikechizoba As per your complain about the Knights,it seems you are yet to join meetings in the village. Once you as a member is incapacitated, the only way to keep your membership is to be financially up to date. Is the same even in your present church. My neighbour lost his mum after many years of sickness and their village church demanded for clearance of all her dues, her husband's and all her children before her burial. They begged and begged until they agree for just hers, husband and first child. Only few meetings both church and natives grant dues waiver for sick members in the village. I know your dad value his membership of KSJ so just pay his dues little by little. If its accumulate,it becomes a burden. If he cannot pay, respond to their letter and let them know. I dislike knighthood too, however many people are doing it so it's not a surprise. I know a penticostal church that marks card for tithe paying and there are benefits attached.

I read a bit and saw Anambra? Huuu? 3 diocese; It cannot be Onitsha Archdiocese(I have been there since I was 10 till I got married and joined Owerri) I have a cousin that married an Anglican and her sister,a Rev Sis even attended the wedding. No issues.

Nnewi diocese- I'm sure Nna Ora cannot condone such. If you report this today, the priest will be put in his lane today.

Awka diocese- Was there as a child and my 5yrs in Uni. I have no idea what they do there.
Christianity Etc › Re: What My Marriage To An Anglican Caused My Catholic Parents. by Amhappy(f): 10:20pm On Jul 08, 2017
I am a Catholic and this rule does not apply in my home diocese or in Port Harcourt diocese where I reside. If you are for real, tell us where this happened. I suspect Nsukka diocese sha there's a lot of archaic rules there. Also you made a serious error by saying you want to write to the head of the Catholic Church in Nigeria. Are you sure you are a Catholic? There is no head of the church in Nigeria. You can only have the Head of Catholic Bishop Conference or the Papal nuncio( Pope representative). None of these is the Nigeria head. Every Bishop head's his diocese and is answerable to the Pope directly and no other Nigeria Bishop. So if you want to report write to the Pope directly or through the Papal nuncio. Shalom.

God help us ooo. I heard they are back on the roads meaning the amnesty by the Rivers State govt.has failed. This was what was happening late last year before the amnesty was given. They kidnap commercial buses and demand for ransom. I know two people sit dead on that road in attempt to escape from these boys. I thinks it's time for JTF to return to the roads.

Anybody that worked in a bank for 2 years is not lazy, moreover the man is only out of job for just 4 F.ucking months. So when does not securing another Job after 4 months becomes laziness? When he foot her bills and education for 2 years he is a sweet husband, now he is lazy? Women are just silly with fish brain
Oga pls Take your quote to another place. I never called the man lazy, I only told him the truth. To do something no matter how small and regain his respect. Do some handy jobs and return home with something no matter how small. He can even use their car for Taxi, bread selling etc. God designed man as the provider. God did not assign that role to women because He know better.
The same thing I tell my fellow women. How can you be a help mate if you contribute nothing?
Meanwhile I responded to the guy who quoted me based on what he said. I don't support people staying idle.
