The Pastor's approach was wrong. Why pronounce judgment when you are not the judge? Freeze Statement was also very incorrect.

Is it possible that the woman made heaven? YES!!! If she ever confessed Jesus with her mouth and believed Him with her heart, even if she did this at the hour of her death, paradise is guaranteed. Her husband is a pastor so i believe she's not ignorant and she had ample of time.

martyns303:
This is going to be long, I hope you endure to the end.

I know what I am about to say will be controversial and not "politically correct", mostly for the feminist and others. I expect a lot of backlash, abuse and calling of names, it is a burden I am willing to take on.

I expect everybody to come here and call this man names, he's an animal, a coward (I agree on this), woman beater and all sort just to be accepted. But I have decided to share a different opinion.

First, people don't just go about attacking other people, not a woman you are married to, not the mother of your children, even mad people don't frequently attack people at random.

The thing is everybody have a breaking point, no matter how much you try to endure and try to be the better person, there comes that point you just can't take it.

Have I hit a woman b4? Yes, twice. It is not something I am proud of, I feel ashamed of myself afterwards. Now I have had my fair share of relationships but one stands out and I pray no man finds himself with a woman like that. This girl's words are venom, she rain abuses at the slightest provocation. If anyone knows me outside NL will know that I am extremely quite, an introvert and avoids confrontation at all cost.

If we agree to meet somewhere and she gets there before, am dead. No matter the reason, she will call me and start abusing me, in fact if you are to hear her, you will call me a fool for staying with that kind of person. But she is not always like that, when she's not angry, she's one of the nicest person ever. Well educated and from a decent home so there's no indication that she will be like that.

The first time I hit her, we went to buy something together at the market. We ended up having a different opinion about an item and that was when she got angry, she started abusing me right there in public. It was as if the ground should open and swallow me, I was so embarrassed I decided to leave and go home. When she got back, she started yelling at me for leaving her behind at the market and the abuses begin. At that point I lost it, already am fuming from the market incident and now this, she has said worst things to me before and I simply walk away but this time I don't know what happened and I slapped her. Of course I apologized and begged and we got back to being normal, I noticed the abuses even stopped for sometime.

Now I don't want to mention what happened the second time, because not even a pope would have been able to handle the situation. At that point I ended the relationship.

Am i going to mention the times she gets angry and begin to damage my properties? Anything she gets her hands on she will destroy it. We all heard about Tonto Dikeh damaging properties worth millions of Churchill's.

The ultimate question is, why didn't I just leave the relationship, answer is, beside her bad moments she's a nice person. Plus I had to endure to keep up the relationship. Now it would be even more difficult for married people.

I am no way encouraging physical abuses by men, but before you crucify the man, have you considered what the man has been through?

No man should raise his hands on a woman, however we shouldn't be quick to throw the men under the bus either. This man is languishing in prison, some of us wouldn't have been able to walk half a mile in his shoes.

May God give us all compatible partners.
Nothing justifies being a violent person. What if the tables turn and the other party is stronger and can beat you nko. My mother can make one vex, should i beat her up. DH nko,he intentionally ask annoying questions just to make me angry maybe i should box him.
My landlady is one of the most annoying person i have ever met, should i beat her? I would really want to slap the Admin manager in our office. The cleaner is so provocative with her words,oh how i wish i will kick that girl silly. SARS are always beating and harassing people around my area but i never slapped any of them even though the provocation crushes my spirit. Bus drivers and conductors nko,one dropped me half way yesterday without a refund? I avoid or swallow the above situation and only speak up if need be except for SARS that one na eyes front.

Beating, fighting etc is a show of power. You beat someone because you feel you can. If you meet a stronger person,no matter how provoked you are,you will not dare to beat. So treat the people you are stronger the way you want people who are stronger than you to treat you. If someone is so so provocative end the relationship.
What will happen if you kill someone in the process. Do you know that fighting is a sin in line with God's commandment 'Thou Shall Not Kill".
SAY NO TO VIOLENCE.

Foreign Affairs › Re: 17-year-old Gay In Chechnya Pushed From 9th Floor Balcony After Being Outed by Amhappy(f): 3:24pm On May 08, 2017
Can you imagine? How can you murder your blood for that matter for being gay? What happened to repentance and rehabilitation? So if someone commits sin just kill the person. If it's like that the streets will be littered with corpses. Why then are we higher animals if we reason like tiger. Even amadioha and sango doesn't kill like that anymore.
All have sinned and fallen short of the glory. But God instead of killing us decided to save us while we are still sinners. Homosexuality is evil but we have no right to take a life because of it. Cold blooded murder is even a greater evil in my own opinion. The defenseless young man won't even expect that will be his last moment. Imagine the shock within that split second. A family he loves and trusted. What a brutality.

Real life horror. Its clear how Bokoharam uses Islamic dress code to hide bombs, destroying the lives of innocent children and young girls they have captured, tortured and murdered their families. Even with this revelation, the Muslim elites will still not agree for a temporary ban of long hijab. It's the living that serves God.

Travel › Re: Dear Nigerians In Diaspora, Is This Wickedness Or Selfishness? by Amhappy(f): 12:10am On Apr 29, 2017
I think giving someone a positive direction is very okay. Going abroad is a prayer point in many churches in Nigeria so if you guide, you are an Angel grin. A lot of great dreams has been killed in this country. There are a lot of responsible Nigerians abroad so not everybody is a criminal. People migrate from many countries to the West, even progressing ones not to talk of a stagnant country like Nigeria. Nigerians are strong hearted and hard working people. Most white cannot survive what an average Nigerians face everyday. When my cousin,a nurse first travelled to the UK,she called to say that Nigeria is in hell mind you she was working here before she left. The quality of life in Nigeria is so low. Oppression and impunity is also very high;police, army, agbero, conductor, passenger, employer, politician etc. A country where police flogged a Prof in law in public. A place where SSS beat school teachers etc. Worst of it,the govt cares not about the people. We know it's not easy in developed world but it's tougher in undeveloped world.
We should not encourage anyone going abroad illegally but most people who do,has nothing more to live for. That explains why someone will travel to Europe by road, through the desert to Libya and enter a doomed boat. Until we fix Naija the painful exodus will continue. If anyone wan jand just show him the way and explain the implication shikina. Our economy is bad and Nigeria need the dollar.

He should learn how to keep his mouth shut. Prince of Nnewi holds no water. Its the people that makes a King. Even Igwe Orizu will not say this.

EFCC Chairman should be sacked now. He just want us to believe that he's working thereby blowing a covert operation. From onset I knew that Oke is innocent. What sane man will stack that kind of cash and still be working to retire and get his benefit. Matters of National Security are no go area in any country. Their operations very secret, never follows protocol and large cash are always involved. Just like how US tracked and killed Osama. Sad we have a President who doesn't read reports and knows nothing about what is happening in his country. And the NSA hates reading too. Nigeria is in pooh.

I followed this topic just to say a few things

1. Misappropriation of fund during planning of traditional marriage is kinda of common;Only few people can properly manage another man's sweat. Even your blood can do worse. Ikoyigate things huh

2. Your mother in law is very wrong. What she did is wicked. However,Nigerian parents are never wrong. Even when they do wrong ,we overlook and forgive. Your wife must have felt bad as well that guests were not properly attended to as provided. Ladies usually boast of abundance of food and the show of wealth by their husband during trad.(Ogbanje gbara there!!! sorry Anambra style) grin

3. Your wife have struggled with her family for so long to save face. She has been living with a man that she's not married to and even have a child out of wedlock. She has been mocked and disrespected for the sake of your union. lipsrsealed

4. You reacted in public to her mother wrongs, something wifey had no control over. That was her time to prove to the whole village that she's not a loser but you made her look like one. Ordinarily she will think that you do not love her, risk not worth taking. cry

5. Wife paid back by staying away with no explanation to disgrace you before your kinsmen. angry

6. After two years of living together in sin and hoping to be properly married, she wants out lipsrsealed

7. You are still in because you want the best for your family tongue

8. Then take the first step and see how it goes. I wish you well wink

Some of the drugs used have been around for a while, it's not that costly but they are open to abuse. I'm pretty sure that's what this couple were doing.

Or rather, I'm pretty sure that because of the pressure that many Nigerian women feel to have children, the wife was taking fertility medication.

Whether the husband knew is another question.
Less than a year in marriage, fertility treatment is very very very unlikely.
