Prostitution is a risky and tough business. Selling oranges/recharge card in school is low risk and less tough. So why do aristos choose the former if its all about money?

These are some of the Primitive customs that should be banned in this country.

Bootybuttchic: u still dont undrrstand whats goin on here,u supported feminism, now u are saying something else....maybe u are on the wrong thread
Please go and read my posts again and stop accusing me of what you don't know. Which statement of mine supported feminism. No wonder you grabbed the post as if we have a personal battle. This is not a question of yes or No. I expressed myself that the long post shows a war between Adichie and whoever the writer was. That accusing Adichie of mocking Achebe is grave. I said i disagreed with the writer on one point which is that all communities in Igbo land treat women fairly. I stated that if my guess on Adichie community is correct then the writer should not wonder because her community is likely to breed the kinds of people the writer accused her of. And concluded that i dont understand feminism as its extreme but believes in fair treatment for all men. So pls stop quoting me out of context.

Family › Re: Adichie’s Feminism: Vacuums And Fallacies By A. Gonzaga by Amhappy(f): 4:47pm On Jul 31, 2014
Bootybuttchic: i dont think i can sight any hatred from dat guys write up....hes only saying truth, and we shldnt hide dat fact...moreover talking about fairness amongst woman an children, where in nigeria or what part of the world are women and children not treatrd fairly apart from arabians countries, andsome parts in the north, and mind u those who maltreat women in d north are mostly uneducated and ignorant people who claim to do that on the basis of religion

cos the nigeria i live, women are allowed to vote, when on a queue even guys be like ladies first,a guy will always help a girl in need, hitting a woman is never done,a man will tell his wife to take care of the home and his kids,so dat they will have a good childhood while he wll go runninh and working to provide for the family.....et all

cos like seriously i dont know where u guys get this dumb opinion from, tho am a fan of ngozi but i cant go down d drain with,d funny thing is she isnt even married to a nigerian,...and most of the nigerian feminist claiming shiitt av never left the shores of this country not to talk of marryin a foreigner....they will defo marry a nigerian and i bet you dey wont play the feminist ishh once in their marriage time, hypocrites kip wanting to deceive other nigerian females,.,,smh
Well that your opinion my dear lady. I strongly disagree that there are no other place in Nigeria apart from the North, where women/children suffers unfair treatment. Men suffers unfair treatment in your community sef not to talk of women and children. Even though ignorance contributes, know that even the so called elites treats people unfairly. Unfair treatment is as a result of wickedness, selfishness and poor judgement. All over the world people still suffer unfair treatment. I live in Nigeria and will tell you that our poor legal structure allows this to thrive. As i said earlier,i neither understand feminism and nor believe in it. What i believe is that every man, woman and child are precious and equal(His image) in Gods eyes and should be treated fairly. It is impossible for people to be treated equally.

ihedinobi2: Fair treatment is not equal treatment. I think that feminists know that. They aren't asking for women to be treated fairly, as far as I know. They're asking for them to be treated equally, the same as men. I think that their arguments for that position tend to be self-contradictory.
As a realist i know people all over the world cannot be treated equally. That can only happen in kingdom of God where everything is perfect.

What a long post. There must be war going on between Adiche and this writer sincerely to warant this. To say Adiche mock Achebe's works is a serious accusations. I dont agree with this writer that all communities in Igboland treat ladies fairly. If Adichie is from where i think she came from, then there is no reason for the writer to wonder why she do all the things she was accused of. Feminism is something i dont understand blc i see it as extreme. I believe humans all over the world should be given fair treatment,be it a man, woman or child.
Family › Re: Pls I Need Your Opinion On This! My Fiancé Is Very Secretive by Amhappy(f): 3:10pm On Jul 30, 2014
Xtassie It is difficult to find a good man and you have one who treats you well so hold onto him. Most ladies telling you to leave this man will grab him without a second thought.
Nobody is perfect including you.
Your man is grown now. According to you he is no longer a mum's boy so why fear.
The only problem with your man is that he is secretive(that if he doesnt lie too). He may be keeping info to himself if you are not the understanding type(i have been there). Be firm with him and tell him how uncomfortable you are with him not being open. That you want a soulmate who shares all necessary information with you. Let him know that he makes it difficult for you to trust him.
Family › Re: How Can Someone Cheat On You BUT Still Say They Love You? by Amhappy(f): 12:58pm On Jul 30, 2014
@ OP Love is the most bastardized word in the world. A lot of people profess love they dont mean.
The love of man is imperfect and fades, only the love of God is encompassing and last forever.
Man is not a perfect being and make mistakes. A person can really lust on people other than his/her partner without planning to. So these are reasons why people profess love and still cheat. However there is a difference between i cheated(yesterday) and i am a cheater (yesterday, today and forever).

mstik: I can believe this. At least for men. When men cheat, they are not emotionally attached to the girl they cheat with. It's just having sex , for them and they feel nothing for the person they sleep with.
i beg to disagree. The sweetness of the 5ex can even lead to emotional attachment. Have u not heard about men marrying a girl picked for just one night stand.
Politics › Re: 10 US Senators Write Obama Demanding Sanctions Against Nigeria. by Amhappy(f): 7:04pm On Jul 29, 2014
Idrismusty97: We actually need sanctions. It would make us wiser, self sufficient and less dependent on these bleeping Western countries. With the rise of China we can easily look East! They won't dare place sanctions on us or they would lose the biggest black nation as an ally. The rest of the Africa countries would definitely follow our steps.
Story story,in as much we still maintain the same crop of politicians we have now,Nigeria will never be wise. This country is not ready for growth.
Politics › Re: Bomb Blast At Zoo Road,Near Shoprite In Kano!!!!! by Amhappy(f): 6:18pm On Jul 28, 2014
Dangerous trend, using young females on hijab as sucide bombers. There are many females on hijab in major Nigerian cities. Action or no action by the Nigerian Govt headed by a Christian President is now dicey. Ban hijab and attract the wrath of fanatics who will say their women have been de-sacred,take no action and every body on hijab is a potential suscide bomber. Is this Bokoharam playing a checkmate on Nigeria? Lets see how govt forces will react.

When we build our own house, we will keep 2rooms;one a closet for our clothes, shoes, baggage, dressing table with a huge standing mirror but no bed. The other will be our bedroom,we dont even have enough time for ourselves after spending more than 12hrs apart each day and all the watching of TV,facebooking, pinging and nairalanding that follows after work. We cant afford to spend the remaining 8hrs apart. Also bathing and dressing up together is my favourite part of marriage not even sleeping together. @OP let ur auntie do what works for her.
