"Can't find placement" and talents abound. Let's start with Tech Twitter: How many Northerners resident in the North interact actively in the space? Outside Lagos and Abuja, you'd find sizeable representatives even in Akure, Ibadan, Enugu, Owerri, Uyo, Port Harcourt, and Calabar push narratives about the tech activities in their cities, but almost nothing from the North.

Thriving large tech hubs and tech co-working spaces in the North? I can't think of any. But I could name 20 in my city.

Pushing narratives is how VCs notice you. Two weeks ago, we had the Akwa Ibom Tech Week. VCs, recruiters, and established coys from within and outside Nigeria came in.

In fact, some U.S. software companies came in to conduct interviews for techies during the tech week, and as at last Friday, the interviewees were being employed. To say that there is talent shortage is incorrect I know many from Okene who are into tech but can't find placement

Now that I think of it, I rarely ever stumble on techies from and resident in the north on social media. While Amoto insists the South underrates and stereotypes the North, evidence show it's just what it is.

I have seen this article before and have discussed it with an acquaintance and something is being done about the challenges facing the startup ecosystem in the North especially the funding part, you yourself highlighted the challenges facing those who don't kiss up to VCs in the industry and how good ideas don't get funding. In Kogi we have Kogi Enterprise Development Agency though it's a small step but the plan is there to support startup, I know the efforts of el-Rufai, Sokoto State Govt, Kano, Gombe and even Nasarawa. Recently, Jaiz Bank rolled out a product to support startup business which I believe is geared towards the Northern region to help bridge the funding gap.

Muri and CEDO were instrumental to Bello's victory in 2019 as they kept the opposition at bay in Kogi East while Bello did his thing in KC and KW. In this election CEDO and him were sidelined I felt for CEDO in particular because he stood for Bello against his kinsmen wishes now he's being mocked by them as used and dumped, Muri has the backing of some people in the Presidency as I learnt and he played the tribal card to his advantage kudos to him. As for Dino he is not loved in KW and KC and KE are have already decided who they will vote for and that's across ethnic lines.
