Politics › What Has PDP Donated To Nigerians As A Party In This COVID-19 by AmTruth(op): 7:12am On Mar 30, 2020 |
Despite being at the helm of affairs of our beloved country Nigeria for 16 years. And all the huge resources accrue during their time in office. As a party they had resources to build mighty uncompleted Secretariat and do other financial commitment as a party.
Despite the present predicament PDP should be ashamed of herself for not making any single financial or material contribution to we Nigerians.
PDP should better bury their heads in shame and keep shut their mouth for Nigeria don't need theirs unproductive words now.
God bless Nigeria!!!

I think what they're looking at is that, such pupils who were fed at school can still be fed at home during this period. Since it's believe that some parents whose kids attends this public schools are poor. So coordinating them to come and get this food at school or Make arrangements in taking the food to their various homes as the case may be is why they need the state government effort. Mind you government have there Datas already, but my concern is with some states who failed to join this school feeding program for their own political reasons and now they would certainly lose out over time. Because getting required data now would take a lot. Pacesetter123: Dat is it my brother. The money n de effort should be channeled to recruiting, training n equipping adhoc health staff to complement de few health staff we have on ground.Schools are closed till further notice. Why talking about school feeding program now? |

Using already available data is important here. Tradermoni, market moni, school feeding program fall into that category already so the government have to start with the data they have at hand. So also the data of 5k to the most vulnerable. It takes an average of 3 or more months to get some precise data in such population like Nigeria. So no time to start with data not available for now. For mentioning JACK MA, the President in his speech have already thank individuals and cooperate organization. You want him to start saying. Atiku 50 million Adenuga 1 billion Tony elumelu 1 billion JACK MA. Cartons of PPE Be mature. God bless Nigeria!!! Ussycool: Yeye dey smell. Mr. President is talking about trader moni, marketers moni, school feeding programs e.t.c Are they serious about this pandemic? He didn't even thank JACK MA for his kind gesture. With the quick blame mentality by we most Nigerians against the politician and govt. Imagine what we ordinary Nigerians are inflicting on ourselves. Can't imagine a small paint rubber of garri selling as high as 2500 naira in some parts of Nigeria. Surprisingly the price increase is majorly on our local food.
Is this not local Wickedness By we local people amongst ourselves. Because in this case the government doesn't have absolute control of food price but we. So we can now exploit others because of what we think is an opportunity.
Imagine what such person would do if given opportunities to political high office.
And we will always be shouting government is not good, meanwhile we will be the worse if given the opportunity.
Hypocrite everywhere!!!

Anyway, just like I said So Far. And by the way, in the nation you just mentioned, if qualification to get tested is that you have to show near symptoms of the virus before being tested, then Nigeria is still on the good page because symptoms around us are not alarming yet or so far as other nations. However let keep maintaining social distance and hygiene. chozzy: OP, the figure of confirmed cases in Nigeria is low because testing processes are too slow. Till date only 262 people have been tested and 81 cases detected. Test centers are too few. Test kits are not readily available (except for Jac Ma's donation recently)
See, just make an effort to get yourself tested. You'll know how slow the process takes. While South Africa was able to test over 20,000 citizens, Nigeria could only test 262 people within the same period.
The pandemic is obviously spreading much deeper in Nigeria than the figures NCDC is reeling out. Govt isn't doing enough and need to step up. I'll score them 15%.

Keep sharing helpful information. God will continue to be with us. Amen Oshigun: @OP
Great call. Lagos, for example, has been really setting the pace considering the burden it has to manage.
Nonetheless leaders must not relent and Nigerians must also obey the instructions they are given about how to stay safe and minimize the risk of spreading the disease.
I go about Lagos and still saw dense areas yesterday(like Oyingbo, Ajah, Yaba, Mushin etal) where people were still worryingly not maintaining rules of social distancing i.e standing at least one meter away from others.
This is the sort of behavior that puts Lagos at risk and may defeat the sterling effort of the State Government so far. So please help us spread the word where you see non-compliance with social distancing instructions.
May God be with everyone and keep all Nigerians safe. |

Nigeria may see worst than the US, Italy and Spain conversation.
They got the virus earlier before Nigeria.

Nigeria can't do any of that. Nigeria go just scatter, |
