10 LGs announced thus far in Kano. PDP maintaining a slim lead so far

Minjibir is a PDP stronghold. Elections are most times hot in this local government .

I'm in Kano and I can assure you there was massive rigging. Most PDP strongholds had card reader issues resulting to massive manual voting in favour of APC, also vote buying by APC was rampant.
PDP were dealt with in their own rigging game

I'm in the north and I can authoritatively tell you there was massive manual voting in the north esp in Kano , Katsina & Zamfara states, and these happened mostly in the rural areas.
We all know what went down. PDP were clearly beating in their own rigging game this time around...

If this is not sad and painful , then what is.. Why can't this menace be tackled once and for all. This same Agatu has had countless attacks, Is it that the security agencies are folding their arms and watching this massacre on and on and on again. What happened to all their intelligence gathering.
These are fellow Nigerians. If the government can't protect them , then they have failed them. And we not speaking up too have failed them. I have a baby daughter too, so this is just saddening #Shame

Serious rigging and vote buying , with numerous card reader issues happened in Kano. A lot of voters in Sabon gari were also disenfranchised.

An average Northerner is not a confident sexual Male. The religion itself does not give opportunity or room for expression, affection, or romance. They often rape their wives and devoid them of pre-intimacy. I feel for their women.
That is why their women run from southern men. They become jittery and defensive because of their emotional weakness for southern Male. They know a minute with a southerner will usher them into their romantic dream but the consequences from their Male counterparts scares them. I pity them.

Mohammad Sani Abacha the son of Abacha who is also the governorship candidate of of Advance People's Democratic Alliance (APDA) in kano has endorsed Buhari reelection.

He is the third most popular Governorship candidate in Kano, he has directed all his supporters to join hands and vote President Mohammadu Buhari.

Did I hear you say 3rd most popular. Oga, R u sure ur abreast with info of Kano or ur just assuming . Mohamed abacha is of no significance in Kano politics. He just has money to blow and that's just about it. Someone that has never campaigned nor people even felt his presence, you only hear his jingles on radio. I bet 90% of people in Kano don't even Know what he sounds like. Takai of PRP is way ahead of him, not to talk of Gandollars or Abba of PDP. 3rd most popular my foot..

@OP. This is your personal analysis. As a proud kwankwasiya supporter let me give you my objective analysis.
As it stands buhari's would still win Kano Presidential votes but don't expect the large margin of 2015. Buhari's undoing is endorsing Gandollars, this alone has put off alot of his supporters. If he can endorse Gandollars despite evidence clearly showing him collecting kickbacks. So what is Atikus crime without any evidence. I guess Kano votes are really needed hence the endorsement.
As far as the presidential contest in Kano is concerned, Atiku would take a large chunk of those votes, maybe 35-45%.
But the governorship is what most supporters are interested in. As it stands, it is 50-50. And we know the APC are going to rig massively but we would not make it easy for them.
And forget social media, the pictures you see are just the half. Our support base round the state is massive. If a Census is to be conducted, I'm pretty sure almost each household in Kano has a kwankwasiya supporter.

Kwankwaso pulled similar crowd when he visited Daura for a Senatorial by-election campaign rally in August. But what happened when the by-election results were declared? PDP struggled to get 20% votes even though the election was between two blood brothers.

I'm laughing sha... Atiku might not get one vote in Buhari's polling unit but the possibility of Buhari's victory in Atiku's Adamawa is so high.

Bros. PDP is very strong and alive in Katsina. Don't forget, they ruled the state from 1999 - 2015. All the major infrastructure in Katsina was done by PDP. Kudos to the late Yar'adua especially. I'm yet to see any state that has good roads Better than Katsina.
Masari then rode on buhari's popularity in 2015 to win. And Daura and Katsina are almost 40km apart. And right from 1999 Daura has always voted the opposition except for now. Daura folks and Katsina folks may get along on the surface but deep down they despise each other. Daura folks have always felt marginalised since the state creation.
And the PDP governorship candidate in Katsina is an inlaw to the Abacha's and a successful businessman, he has the big elites behind him & has money to spend.
It's going to be a close one.

Keep consoling yourself oga. The facts on ground betray you; and the fact of the matter is that child marriage in the north is a gazillion times more common and accepted than it will ever be in the south.
To prove this, there has never been records of preteen marriages in the south but there has hundreds in the north. Even Islam encourages child marriages as the founder of Islam which is Mohammed married a six year baby.

Keep consoling yourself. Child marriage is not common in the south. It is a normal thing in the south and yes you northerners have never failed to show your support for it to the point that a northern senator/politician sponsored the bill for the reduction of the age of consent to 11.

Oga. Emphasis is on it happens in the south too. Infact , it happens in most very rural parts of Nigeria. Just because Northerners don't come online to speak against it does not mean we support it..

He is not perfect. He has his flaws and can be arrogant most times. But when he wants to do something, he is fair to all and does not favour some over others. And he has been known to be a thorn in the flesh of Kano elites who think with their wealth and power can have their way over certain affairs in the state. He tells it black and blue to your face no matter your status. He is blunt and no a$$ licker like most of these politicians. And I know a lot of people who have gained from his intervention when he was governor. He believes everyone irregardless of your status should have an equal chance at enjoying the goodies of Life. So many other positives, hence the love and loyalty. Here, even if you don't support him, you would definitely have a friend , Uncle, sister, house help , relation who does. We are split like that here.

I'm from Kano. I stay in Kano. And me and all my extended family members are all kwankwasiya. Yes. Gandollar is the incumbent, but we promise he won't have it easy. Tsunami loading #RedCapMovement...

What is wrong with Nigerians for God's Sake. That's how one Doctor returnee from UK tried setting up a hospital in abj some few years back. Just for him to be duped 1st by the Medical suppliers he contracted, then issue of his staff stealing medical tools etc. In summary, he was basically frustrated back to UK. Very unfortunate
