i disagree. . . . .
if karma is such a bytch, people would have stopped sinning several centuries ago.
the truth is, some few people get away with their evil deeds. . . .
Some people -on the face of it- seem to go away with their evil, but one way or another they pay for their actions. They must pay, fact of life.

phewwww! well, all is well that ends well. sincerely, i clearly just think you all are just extending her 15min of fame by the whole barage back and forth. The best way to treat complusive silly thread openers like Onila is to simply ignore her. Trading insults with her is just bringing your self down to her level which is not just cool. @freecocoa and Idowuogbo i wasn't tryna pick a fight.

Don't get me wrong, I wasn't referring to you ( not strictly anyways) and I'm not taking her side either. That attack was unnecessary. People open Naija women bashing by the minute, and the most they get is just an amusing banter that goes back and forth.

I really don't care about Onila herself (by God, her tongue is viper, and her mouth filthy) but she opened the thread, and if you don't like it, turn a blind eye over the thread and ignore it. Please don't take it personal. And for typhoid? Like seriously!
Romance › Re: My Love And Hate Relationship With Nigerian Men! by Amya(f): 12:13am On Jan 19, 2012
The truth of the matter is you can simply ignore the thread if you feel it's silly and makes no sense. Infact, when you see her name, you move to the next thread. There's no gun pointed to anyone's head to read or comment on her threads.

Everyone who came here to insult the poster/post is actually being the senseless person. You could have simply ignored the thread and moved to the next. Is Nairaland your father's house?

P.s I myself hardly read or comment on her threads except I find it meaningful. And I cannot insult her for those I find useless. I just walk out period!

Romance › Re: Why Dont African American Men And Carribean Men Like 2 Date African Girls? by Amya(f): 11:03pm On Jan 18, 2012
nene1:
I can see why a black american or caribbean woman would want an african guy, but I can't see why in the world an african sister would be interested in one of these men.

I think it's usually that most african girls' parents won't let them date these men and rightly so. Besides, most of these men are commitment phobic. African men are more marriage minded. They are better providers. They don't expect a girl to split her money 50/50. They treat women much better as a WHOLE. Of course on an individual basis you will have exceptions. I cannot imagine myself with a guy who is not african. Even if he is not from my native country, at least some other west african nation or just black african period. I don't want to venture farther than that.

In my personal experience, most of the african guys I encountered were respectful and also many of them had a bright future and were in school. There are a few losers, but most of them I have met so far are serious This is my experience though.

You are calling a man who created an email in his pregnant's fiance's name a gentleman? You must be used to wife beaters and abusers that's why this crazy man can be a gentleman to you. Ah! I'm afraid for this generation girls oh.
Don't get me wrong I may have said he's a gentleman, but what I really mean is 'he thinks he's a gentleman and instead of calling off the wedding for no reason, the gentlemanly thing for him to do would be to set up the whole email scam and removing all the passwords so she'll see it. As expected, curiosity won, and here we are. . . But the truth is he's not a gentleman, but a coward. This is really the cheapest shot I've seen. Calling off the wedding because she came out here on NL. SMH

And they the guy and his fins stumbled on it by mistake? Please even Nollywood tales are more believable than this.[/quote]What you say could true. At the same time I find it hard to believe one person would go this whole length to create false story like this. Pretend up to be three people with different point of view. To prove what exactly? A thread that'll soon be buried like it's predecessors? BTW a few of my 'real' life friends are here on NL. It's very possible the story could be true.

Romance › Re: Getting Married In A Couple Of Weeks, And Discovered Hubby Is A Fraud! by Amya(f): 3:58pm On Jan 14, 2012
With new developments and contradictions that have arisen from comments from serious_ly and his supposed buddy jimovia, I had to good back and dig from the 1st page what th OP iam_a_lady said.

My conclusion. All these was staged by the guy in question to dump her without guilt (and a extricate himself from any blame. The lady in question was pestering the guy for marriage and he was probably okay with the way the relationship is. She wanted to get pregnant to rope him in. She's desperate.

Now, back to the guy, he's a gentleman and probably don't want to be seen as a heartbreaker. He likes her, but I don't think he wants to marry her. So he thought up this whole scheme to extricate himself from the guilt. Fortunately/unfortunately, she fell for it, and came out here to nairaland. Creating a more easier way for the guy to walk out of it like the victim.

OP, Let it go. S.hit happens.

Seriousl_y you are a douchebag. Grow up.

Cuddlemii:
This story sounds like a mafia flick. This is a very strange topic. What won't naija men dabble into. And where is that foolish Opribo that said unmarried women should be stoned and beheaded. smh

@op, I really sympathize with you but even if he was having unprotected sex with you, why didn't you protect your own self, are you a baby or what? How much is postinor2 that you are going through all these now.

I am afraid you have to sit back and see what he is up to as you are already pregnant and have a wedding coming up soon but prepare your mind for anything. People should learn to use protection and run proper test on themselves because that thing called prick can be very sweet but with severe consequences so make sure you are always well secured or open up with insurance and not assurance.

Its obvious he is living a double life, he must have an oyinbo wife somewhere or something. You said he is well to do, what is he into, hope not that he is even a 419ner or fraudster for him to impersonate you like that. You were busy frolicking with a man you didn't run a background search on him. How well do people know who they are dating, sleeping-with or in relationship with, this is a good lesson to ladies and I inclusive. That miscarriage was a bad omen and sign, an easy escape root only for you to make the same mistake. Sorry once again and get to the root of the matter before you do anything rash.

Wait a min, sh-it! that guy played you. He is probably married to a barren woman and dated u for a child or he needs to prove that he can father a child. Because why else would he want a child so bad as to get u pregnant twice when he doesn't want any commitment or marriage. Maybe he relocated to achieve his means. He might even kill you after the baby is born. He had mapped out his plan from the get go, he saw an emotional lady to play stunts with. The act of trickery and devious antics. I am thinking like a crook here

Romance › Re: Why Do Promiscuos Girls Find Husbands Easily? by Amya(f): 2:16pm On Jan 10, 2012
If a guy wants to marry a good girl, he may meet a good girl or a bad girl who pretends to be a good girl. And if he prefers a bad girl, he'll get his bad girl.

So you see, the bad girl has a higher chance as the good girl cannot pretend to be bad to rope a man in.

But seriously, this generalisation is not true. Man sees a woman he likes and he marries period. cheesy
