I believe the bible to be the authoritative word of God. So yes, i believe it 100%.

However, i do not believe that the catholic church was responsible for determining which books where true and inspired by God as they claim.

The bible itself is an authority on its own and contains the eternal word of God that cannot pass away but will live on forever. And that's the reason we still have the word today. Its not because of the church of Rome but because God's word cannot be stopped.

Out of the 4 gospels only Luke is likely to be authentic, Matthew, Mark and John are copies written by Unknown authors

Luke was an historian who never knew Jesus or the disciples, a man who wrote all his books - Acts and Luke based on hearsay, 50 years after Jesus's death

Gospel of Mark is written 70AD, when Apostle Mark died 3 years earlier
Gospel of Matthew is copied from Mark
