First of all, the catholic church us the main branch of the original church. There are more christian than any other sect and that is a fact.

Secondly, what do you mean christianity is not violent? Even if we pretend that catholics arent christians, how do you explain Martin Luther, the founder of the protestant movement writing a 65,000 word book promoting murdering, enslaving and murdering Jews? Hiw do you explain John Calvin being the one who handed the philosopher Giordano Bruno over to be murdered by the chyrch? How do you explain the North American genocide, perpertrated almost entirely by protestants? How do you explain the Australian genocide? How do explain protestant christians in Germany who happily participatrd in the industrialized slaughter of Jews and other minorities during WWII? How do you explain the Belgian Congo? You think christianity managed to almost wipe out traditional African religions with flowers and hugs?

The fact is that christianity is by far the most violent and bloodthirsty religion in all of recorded history. We just happen to be living in one of their rare slow periods. 60 years of not killing as many people is not enough to cancel out 1600 years of institutionalized mass murder and tyranny. Islam is definitely neither tolerant nor a religion of peace, but for hundreds of years Jews were running to islamic countries to escape christian persecution!

You don't get it. Catholicism has its origin in paganism and has nothing to do with Christ. You just picked one passage of scripture and misunderstood it completely. The sword there is not a physical sword but the truth. The truth makes you at variance with people around you who have not the truth. And because you know the truth, you are ready to forsake all for the sake of truth. This will attract not love from the world but hate and opposition from your family members cos you chose not to follow them blindly.

Jesus also admonished us to turn the other cheek if we are hit on one. He did not contradict himself.

And yes spiritual understanding is needed because not only will it unlock "mystical truths" to you, you will begin to think soundly too.

first in Rom. 10:17, it comes through the 'WORD' but the bible speaks more on who is the WORD in john 1:1..;..'in the begining was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God'..reading further, we know the Word there is simply talking about Jesus Christ. He exist from the begining, before genesis and was giving to Us to make us a new being through His death and resurrectn.
consequently, if He exist from the begining and remain the authur of the Word, then faith had been in existence long ago. it comes to life in us when we search and find Him in Him Word.

Heb. 12:2 says..Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith...without Him, there is no faith; without the Him, there is no Word!

Ok. You are mixing up something here. I know faith originates from the Word but it is not equal to the Word.
To have faith means to depend, rest on someone.
The Word is God. Hence, we rest on God.

2Thess 3:2. says all men hath not faith.

If faith is a gift, that must come, it means there must be a time that we are without this faith.

So does God give this gift to whoever He wants?
or man must do something to earn it?

I am sorry lady, i know that there are one out of a thousand ladies like you but generally we have four types of ladies.No one prays to be with a man who does not have money and no man also desires to be poor but because of life happenings, sometimes shits happen and we jsut have to work hard to come outta it.

1.The type that will never give you audience if you are not rich and will leave you in a flash if you go broke.

2.There is another type that will give you the chance but would wait in hope that it gets better and will not hesitate to leave you after waiting for a stipulated time.

3.There is yet another type that will love you, marry you and bear you children and remain with you but would g out to play silly games for the money and even help you and the family with the proceeds of her adulterous acts.

4.The last type are the ones that will love you for as long as she lives,bear you children and will never cheat on you even if you are as broke as anything called broke.

Every lady reading this knows in her mind the category she belongs and its not about pretense.
