Iran retains its stockpile of enriched uranium.
It retains institutional knowledge of making a nuclear bomb.
Its Atomic agency publicly maintains that its enrichment program has not and will not be halted.
Iran maintains its no-enrichment red line that it established since the start of negotiations with Trump.

It is a spectacular failure for Satanyahu who had the element of surprise, had the backing of the US and all of NATO, and started strong.
He had all the infinity stones and failed because Israel is a chihuahua.
He is the one now begging to exit a misadventure of his own making.

- Then 2 months ago, Trump changed his rhetoric and started demanding Iran depleted their stock before any further negotiations. Think of the level of mind-effery going on. The guy who disregarded the agreement is insisting the other side honored it as a condition to get him back to agree with the agreement he himself tore apart.

- 2018, he pushed Trump to cancel the JCPOA. Iran now had a right to disregard the terms of the agreement but you'd be surprised what ensued. . .

- Iran still didn't disregard the terms and kept their Uranium enrichment under 4% for 1 full year. Asking the US to come back to the terms and lift the sanctions.

- after 2019 and with Trump refusing to return to the table, Iran began increasing their enrichment as a tactic to get the US back to the table. They raised the enrichment to like 6%, then 10%.

- Trump then pretended to be interested in suing for peace (sounds familiar innit?) And called for a meeting in Oman or so. Iran sent Soleimani to represent them in the meeting. He was killed using suicide drones.

- I ignorantly celebrated it at the time (but praise God I've not sworn a pact to remain eternally dense). I've since repented having done some pretty easy to do research if one is genuinely curious.

- in retaliation for Soleimani being killed, Iran began raising their Uranium enrichment to above 60%. Again, as negotiating leverage.

- Uranium enrichment doesn't translate to nuclear weapons. Countries that have thriving Nuclear energy/power programs use it to generate that power. Just like having alot of flour doesn't mean you DEFINITELY want to bake cakes. It could be for puff puff or Buns, or pancakes.

- that's how the IAEA + intelligence community across the US and Europe could report that truly, Iran weren't on the verge of having any nuclear weapons.
