OkpaNsukkaisBae: Exactly. But we have dumb people who thrive in pushing "whataboutism"..
When they arrest the TikTok guy... Dumb people will also tell us that he can't visit China. Gbam. Don't tell me Russia BAD BAD BAD but when the west do the same and even worse you make excuses or deflect by telling me it happens in Russia or China as well. That's just nonsensical.

OkpaNsukkaisBae: France say Pavel Durov dey sponsor terrorism.. He's no longer a global citizen. The same people that were praising Pavel in 2011 and 2014 to the high heaven for refusing to cooperate with Putin. Durov was arrested in FRANCE. Not Russia. For whatever his grievances were with Russia, he was not arrested there. He was arrested in FRANCE. Durov is currently a French citizen. Whataboutism is an ineffective way to debate. |

This is the KdB and Haaland that City went large parts without yet people think I won't hype the Foden that still kept City winning when they were out.

I'm always pro Pep and he can stay and farm for as long as he wishes. Was just thinking how Rico will do under another coach. You're good. Was wondering if you were thinking he was leaving after this season. I wanted to say from what I'm hearing, he will extend his contract by another 2 years atleast. |

It'll be interesting to see what he does after Pep because he's looking class right now. Is he a RB or a CM? Currently a RB/CM hybrid. I think we'll know his real position with the manager that replaces Pep! Where is Pep going to? |

airmark: It's not about any win, but correcting the faulty premise you are arguing on.
I posted it several times long before now that a serious coach would chase Sterling away from his team. Fraudiola wasn't a fool and Maresca must have seen the nonsense he played for us last season. What faulty premise? Sterling, worst case finished 4th in class. Okay? I'm not defending the player. I agree that he should be producing what Palmer did to keep his salary at CFC but the treatment of the player is unjustified. It is brash, uncouth and unprofessional. It is setting a bad precedent. Can't you see it? |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Android17: 6:20am On Aug 22, 2024 |
airmark: Take your time and do the maths before making false claims up and down.
Madueke was more productive based on your own stated metrics - G/A per minutes.
You can ask Fraudiola to buy your useless burden of an attacker, Sterling. You win. They don't play the same wings though and Sterling was 4th give or take - like I said - not that invested. You know Maresca used the player all through the preseason and communicating this to him a day to the season opener proves it was not tactical? Hope you know Maresca is creating an impression that will discourage other players from wanting to play for him. He is effectively losing the dressing room? |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Android17: 5:02am On Aug 22, 2024 |
airmark: Ok, did he have a better G/A per minutes played in the EPL than Madueke last season?. I am not that invested to do the maths (checking starts and subs in games). Raheem had 8 goals in 31 games. Noni had 5 in 23 or so. I think Noni has 2 assists. Did not check Raheem's. What's your exact point? I hope you are not one of those that thinks he is being frozen out for tactical reasons? You know it is because of the Felix deal your club was forced into, right? |

swiz123: The best thing he could ever do for true fans. Sterling have insulted us enough with intentional horrendous football knowing his pay is safe.
The basstard has no love for the club and disgracing him feels like winning the EPL to me. Nah, you're discouraging potential signings from coming here. Sterling was still more productive than all your other LWs, RWs + other players not named Palmer and Jackson. The only reason Chelsea want him off the books is his high salary coupled with y'alls need to balance the books. Based on that, do you honestly think this is the best solution? You know the player can simply sit on his butt and pocket the £325-350K/week for the next 3 years right? That even terminating his contract means you have to pay him every dime perhaps even upfront as a lump-sum? |

Omoluabi16: Sterling is still around.. and chalobah too. Giving out their numbers right now is bad timing and lack of respect. I get the idea of new man trying to stamp authority, bossing it but come on! This project better works out. No be today then dey sell average player sha. Maresca is simply following orders. Nkuku was mostly ineffective on the left on Sunday and Raheem has played very well in all his games against City since leaving. You can only confuse slow people that freezing him out is anything tactical. And if treating current players is the way to get them off your books, I'm sorry but although Enzo is a Pep protégé I suspect he is going to be a monumental failure at Chelsea. Time will tell. |

Ihebu4chelsea: Because it's Chelsea...... Watch Referee's award a penalty week in week out because of this same handball incident.... It has nothing to do with Chelsea. The ball was at a quick pace and only 2 yards away. The FA had already said all such won't be adjudged penalties anymore - this season. Caicedo should have been red carded by his 1st yellow. He should have already been yellow carded for the foul on KDB in the first half. The yellow card on Erling was completely BOGUS. Colwill made a meal of it. I can go on and on. |
