Thanks. sure it's a blessing to have a wonderful wife as she is a blessing from above.My wife cannot spend any money without discussing with me as we prefer getting house needs in bulk and it has worked. She even prefers me to choose the kind of cloth she wants and as a result, I even knows what the size of her shoe, dress, undies and other stuffs and gets them for her anytime I go out without her requesting for them.She has always prays for me as this has been like a surprise package to her.

@op, if your wife is the "spend all" type, then, you have to apply wisdom, before you declare all the money you have, make sure you have saved some for the rainy season, so that, there wont be "biting of fingers" when the need to spend on necessary things arise.
BUT
If shes the prudent type, its better to be open with and to her, it even helps in planning for the family, since she knows what is available, she wont demand for what she knows you cant afford.

For me, I can NEVER hide money from my wife. As a matter of fact, my wife keeps our money in her account and I only keep little in my account for just fueling my car and other little things. This has helped us to plan things and we have about 4 buildings now.
To me, my wife is the best banker for the family, the best friend to me and my best adviser because I usually spend all my money with me when I go out with friends as I tend t give out any amount with me when people ask for money from me, I give out to a fault. But since I started keeping my money with my wife, I tell her to give me the amount I needed for the day and I make sure I spend within what I have. With this practice, it has helped us to plan for so many things. In fact, I tell me wife any amount of money with me I get even if it is 10 naira as I do not know how to hide. I drop my money open in my wardrobe and my wife and I can take money as we want and when we run out, we both go to the bank together.
Men can have their own opinion, but for me, having to be open to your wife will make her believe you when you tell her that you do not have, she will know you don't have. When you hide money from her, anytime you explain that you do not have money, she can NEVER believe you as she will take your response with doubt.

I feel like jump start a work on a new life now. I have been dealing with this for years but have never spoken to anyone. Yesterday i was just so down and decide to write about it and the responce is sooo wooww. I am starting a new life as in yestersday and i owe it all to you. I am starting gym this evening and for now i am buying some different types of food which have been suggested by some of you even via email. I am taking this so serously because i know and believe that it will be life changing. As for the boyfriend. I do have sent him a text messgae telling him that i will not be taking part in sexual activities and i wil not be doing him any favors. He did not respond in a negative way but i do not know how he will respond when we meet but i really do not wana see him for now coz the only thing that will come out of my mouth wil be tears and me dumping him and him trying to sweet talk me again.
