Cute and lovely couple. Aki has an express clearance to the Office of The Presidency. You and your family cannot get there in your entire life.

pkween: A fiancée called up her fiancé yester night and the reply she got was, this is a bad time to call me because I am seeing a match. Tell me, can his watching of football match be more important than the conversation with his fiancée in a distant courting relationship?
Yes, every other thing become nothing. I can watch match 24/7 if possible and my wife respects my football privacy. So, just accept the man or go find another one and allow him be. Football is stress remover.

adora4u1: Ok na. Prophet of doom! When will he ever prophesy something positive?!
Watch what you say and name calling. If you do not like his prophesy, you can pass by but do not call him, prophet of doom.
I ask God to forgive you.No other prophet has done what this great prophet of God has done for humanity. Prophesy is to reveal the hidden things of God for mankind. It is left for us to pray and cancel it. Only him cannot pray against it.It is a collective prayer for man to offer for the prevention. Prayer offered must have reduced the impact on the people.\
A nation where there is no vision, people perish. It is high time people start adhering to his prophesies.

Solozzo: I think Nikky's husband is a cool handsome young man. She should be proud of him.

You cannot just judge people's personality only with their looks/photos

Andyanders why not post a picture of you and your wife/partner, and see what conclusions can be drawn. The idea of the thread was to admire and encourage the couple, not some armchair psychology.
For real men, I have posted the pix of my wife here and note I NEVER said he is ugly and I said the picture op posted here of her guy doesn't look great as the guy look as if he is been carried along by his wife and he looks like a kid brother to her.I said the man should man up

Na today/ Since Nduka Ugbade who were then almost 40 yrs playing under 17. So, if we need real under 17 from Nigeria, they must still be in the secondary school. Not all these old boys fielded. That is why we cannot reach anywhere in any world cup.

All our players paying with Super Eagles are all above 35 yrs and above. No single player within that age bracket, unless Osaze, Moses,Anichebe, Onasa and few like them who grew outside this country.

Valto: u dont know me, yet are here spewing rubbish! and u fail to understand what the OP wrote. we are not talking about large sums here, so forget about spending salaries or money kept for someone...all she said is that she sometimes collect little amount of money from her hubby's pocket which she normally notify him and she never collects more that 1k.
Listen, whether one naira or two naira, it is still not right. Do you know the worth and the salary of the man in question? There are people that amount is still big to them and the guy's expenses should be taken into recognisance. Maybe he kept the money for his transport to cover the week or month. Let us not say it is a family thing.
Family › Re: What Is Wrong In Taking Money From Your Hubby's Pocket? by andyanders: 2:04pm On Apr 15, 2013
yebo: I do take money from my husband pocket only when I need a smaller denomination between 20 naira and 200 naira at most not that I don't have cash on me but I do take permission before taking it, d only reason y I don't take permission at times is when he's asleep n I need d money at that time n when he wakes up I'll let him knw. U there not tell my husband that u don't have cash on you, he wld be terrible mad at you, u must av informed him immediately u are running out of cash n he wld knw how to reimburse you, he belives anytin can happen dat we require money. So there's no reason for me to take any amount above 500 naira from his pocket especially when its above 500 naira upward.
You are a good woman.Always ask. Before the so called egg ran out in the house, she was supposed to have informed her husband prior to that time and why cant she wait till he comes back? So, it was was she was used too before she got married.
Family › Re: What Is Wrong In Taking Money From Your Hubby's Pocket? by andyanders: 1:52pm On Apr 15, 2013
Valto: ^^^typical nigerian man!! marriage is a union. she is free to take as long she notifies him.
It's not a typical Nigerian man. She is ONLY RIGHT when she inform him first before taking the money.

You cannot just bang into your husband's pocket and take money from it. What if the money was given to him by someone? Always try to be prudent with what you do in your marriage. Let it be man/woman, you must be open to issues. If it was something the OP and her husband have an understanding, she will not come out here to say that her husband does not appreciate her doing so. Stealing is stealing no matter how little it is. Do not say it's a husband thing. If you both keep money together and have an understanding that you can take money from there when you need to do something, there wouldn't be an issue like this we are discussing.

Remember, even a white lady cannot just go to her husband's pocket and just pick money and make use of it without informing her husband. Even her salary, she cannot just spend her salary without the consent of her husband. They must have spelt out how their salaries will be spent. Either the man takes care of the rent and the wife takes care of groceries. She cannot just see money and start spending.
Do not come here to say is a Nigerian man's attitude. A thief is a thief. So you are saying your children can too go searching and collecting money from you/husband's pockets? They will end up stealing other peoples money when they cannot have access to their parent's money.

Do not encourage the OP here because it is a bad attitude. I know you do it and as such can even steal other Friend's money if they left their bags with you.
Politics › Re: EFCC Arrests Former Mint MD, Ehi Okomoyon Over $5m Polymer Bribery Scam by andyanders: 1:09pm On Apr 15, 2013
This is no news.Same thing Soludo did was what Sanusi wanted to do when he was bent on printing N5,000 note.

These our so called leaders and top government officials, top Bankers and their links are private pen robbers or thieves.
EFCC will pick them but our courts or judicial system knows how to thwart the effort of the EFCC. EFCC will do their jobs, but the courts will throw out the cases and collect money from them like what happened to Pension Fund thief.
The best thing to do to our corrupt leaders is to start killing them by firing squad or by hanging. Apply Chinese system of tackling corruption.

Our leaders or Nigerian politicians are too afraid to die. When you introduce killing to any corrupt official, stealing will reduce drastically. Al of them are afraid to die because when they remember the money they have stolen, they become afraid to die hence they start buying bullet proof cars and building with bullet proof walls.

babysnogls: G.G, everytime i eva took money, i told him. Its like ds: For example, i discover we run out of eggs in d house and i need to buy a crate and im short of cash, i just take money frm his pocket then go to where he is and say 'hon, i just took so so amount from ur pocket cos we nid eggs' or i even buy d eggs then tell him almost immediately. I dnt let him discover it, infact he neva knows. I just know i av to tell him.. I asked earlier, wat if he takes smtn dts mine b4 tellin me, did he also steal frm me?
Better tell him before taking the money because he could have some plans with what he has with him. Always ask before taking and himself also should ask before taking. What if your friend gave you money to keep for her and all of a sudden, the money is taken without your knowledge? If the lady comes, will you tell the lady my husband took the money without your knowledge? The lady will now look at your husband as a thief.Likewise your husband telling someone or his friend that his wife took the money given to him by someone, that will equally translate to be that his wife is a thief.

babysnogls: I need to know. What is wrong in taking some change from ur husbands pocket? Do al guys hate it or is it just mine? Mine did nt use to mind b4 but he later stopped me frm doing it.(and i neva took above a thousand naira.)
If i cooked food wt my money and my hubby decides to scoop some wtout telling me, i wont get angry now, at least what is mine is his. Do all men dislike their wives taking money out of their pockets?
Well it all depends. Like me, I do not hide money from my wife cus I don't know how to hide money and I do not count money. If I collect say N100,000K from the bank, I keep in the wardrobe and both of us can have access to it. Though, my wife keeps my money in her account and anytime we need money we both go to the bank or she goes. I prefer it like that cus, it makes me to be responsible. If I go out say with any amount, I spend within what I have with me and anytime I run out, I go back home. If I keep money, I tend to give out a lot to friends as I do not know how to say no, when someone is in problem. Since she started keeping money in her account, we were able to build houses and do proper planning and it has worked for me.My wife can never abuse the money and I hate recounting money and when it runs out, we replace.
Taking money from your husband's pocket without his knowledge, might look somehow because he must have planned doing something with that money and taking it without his knowledge might trigger problems. Sit him down and discuss a way out so that both of you could have a proper planning and resolve the issue. Taking it without his consent or approval becomes stealing.
