Colonia: Have you noticed how quick our politicians claim that their wives have Billions makes me wonder what royal family they all married from?? True talk my brother. Nigeria should reach the stage where not being a public servant is not enough reason for people to claim stupendous wealth. We all should be able to defend our source of income. These wives in question should tell us how they came about this wealth i beg. |

How about the ones who performed abdacadabra with gulf oil wind fall? |

Big B1: @Colonial
I truly believe that if you can not arrest all don't arrest any; It is crystal clear that everyone of these folks (all politicians) are corrupt and they all know this fact; and believe it or not, this is also one of the reasons why the government are very hesitant to proceed with the arrest. Gist!! where in this world have all corrupt people been brought to book at the same time? Even if it is only 1 person that can be made to pay for his sins, let him be used as an exampl/scape goat. If u dont arrest any how are u helping the situation? I thought u believed in being realistic |

You said it all, sponsoring third term which is not part of what the monthly state allocation was designed for is in itself misappropriation of fund and abuse of office. That goes on the buttress EFCC arguments that Turaki misused Government funds.
Turaki can on his own provide evidence against OBJ to innitiate another court proceedings against him. If he has facts he should present them to court not Newspaper except he is looking to just blackmail someone else in the hope to stall his trial. I agree |

Politics › Re: Do You Remember Clifford Orji? by angel101(f): 12:25pm On Jul 16, 2007 |
folem: What do you call a situation when a mad man is refered to as a sane man?
I think the above has resonance with the fact that mad people as well as disabled and other afflicted people are a common sight in our communities. The sight of naked Mad Men/Women is common in our cities.
The Guardian published stories about The Orji's including the fact that his brother Charles was also mad. Clifford was brought back to find a cure for his mental condition by fellow villagers living in Mafoluku only for him to "escape" back to Lagos after a few years eating Lizarrds off the wall and bringing home dead fowls found on the streets for dinner.
Clifford Orji once has sex with a dead woman killed by a hit-and-run driver in broad daylight at Toyota Bus stop very close to The Guardian premises.
Weekend Concord also had an interview with him around 1992 while he was prowling the Beesam-Concord-International Axis at the height of his madness naked with an erect phallus and he also proposed to the lady journalist saying "I sabi am well well". How then do u explain his killing people and selling of their body parts? I think the madness thing was just an act. |

denex: Do you know that as the new card meters are being fixed right now, some Nigerians are bribing PHCN contractors to manipulate the wiring connection in order to bypass all heavy electricity consumption appliances such as Air conditioners, water heaters and fridges.
So when the IPPs become fully functional, the records of the electricity consumed will be at par with what is produced, but real consumption will be 2 times more than that so the system will still fail. I think we need to address the disease rather than the symptoms. The major reason for people behaving in the manner which u have highlighted is poverty plain and simple! |

Nigeria's position on the poor list as far as I am concerned is irrelevant. the truth is that Nigeria IS a poor country. What we need to spend our energy and emotions on now is how to move the country out of this deplorable condition. |

I ask again. will God come down to repair Nigeria? Is it not the Nigerians that he will use if they are willing? Everything does not have to be doctrinized. we need to wake up and smell the coffe! |
