If the palce is developed by force, they will have no more excuse to continue their criminal acts and then they will be seen by all and sundry as what they truly are. In which case, they will not be spared under any circumstance. thats what i think. |

SEFAGO: I just got a letter (paper letter through the mail) with a check of $4100 claiming I had one this from online gaming. I later called the people ( i LIVE IN THE us) and when I noticed their accent was nigerian I took the check and tore it immediately. I kept the letter and called them. When I called them today and I told them they figured I was nigerian and yoruba and they started laughing. It was funny since I had figured they were 419. The guy on the phone was like 'no shaking, tear the letter and don't tell anyone' and he started speaking pidgin to me. But wait o, did u do any online gaming? so y did u expect it to be real? abi u sef wan cash in on a 'loophole' b4? |

Politics › Re: The New Nigerian Passport by angel101(f): 9:58am On Jul 11, 2007 |
dblock: It's not stupid. Practically every country in the world has electronic passports. African countries are the only countries behind.
Well, this will mean that my passport will be invalid after 12 Months, which means that as soon as the news gets out to immigration offices worldwide, I'll be screwed.
But the Government will probably work something out. Excuse me, this is such an untrue statement! which countries have electronic passports? the UK is only just introducing it now amid severe resistance. Also, the Nigerian passport is not in any way backward it is readable which is what countries like the UK which are under terrorist threat are just now trying to improve upon. |

naijaking1: Zimbabwe's case is sad, but given a few likely scenerios, other African countries like naija may not be too far from such a catastroph.
Do you know how close we came to 3rd term? Word!! naijaking1: Without oil, corruption could have been much less, the people who toiled in the farms would hold every politician accountable for their money, and we would have have such an even and smooth development like Malaysia, Thailand, India, etc-- they developed or are developing without oil. I disagree. corruption has got nothing to do with resources. Rather it has to do with the attitude of the people. Corruption can thrive in any situation. Back to Mugabe, Africans are not bad people, just unfortunate to produce bad leaders.this is very true. |
