PoliticsRe: Chris Oyakhilome, Is He A Man Of God? by angel101(f): 12:32pm On Jul 19, 2007
Mamajama:
Why does Nigerians produced so many barbaric animals? Dude have you been to other ministries to justify that they done have good priests ? Let him who is without sin cast the 1st stone. OYAKILOME was set up and forced out of the force, it's been over 15 years and the man has found God and had his ministry why not let sleeping dog sleep and pray for him. How do you know your so called pastor is not molesting little kids in the back, we just had a $600 Million dollar settlement by the Catholic church.
erm he is actually refering to Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, not the ex police man. LOL!!!
huh

PoliticsRe: Dangote, Others Pull Out Of Kaduna, P-harcourt Refineries' Deal. by angel101(f): 12:15pm On Jul 19, 2007

@ angel,
a pig head would manage the refineries better than NNPC.

The outcry against the sale of the refineries, instigated by labour and NNPC was stupidly sentimental. Now that they've withdrawn the refineries can as well languish in hell.
However, my stand remains the same.

when the US government continues to execute people by lethal injection and electrocution, you don't feel the world has moved forward from those kind of barbaric culture.
Talk about double standards.
PoliticsRe: Dangote, Others Pull Out Of Kaduna, P-harcourt Refineries' Deal. by angel101(f): 11:44am On Jul 19, 2007
ADint:
So, what do you propose?
The refineries go to a company ready to serve the country and their shareholders. not one doing us a favour. Thats of course assuming that NNPC can honestly not do the job.
PoliticsRe: Miracle Bank Crashes, Depositors' Money Trapped, Operators Vanish by angel101(f): 11:24am On Jul 19, 2007
aisha2:
Thats not a fair statement to make. In all fairness, Soludo severally warned Nigerians about depositing in these wonder banks but people failed to listen. The said he is in protecting interest of other the Mega banks because people no longer leave money in fixed deposit accounts. Now we turn around again to say the government is useless.
Haba, let us do less blame shifting and take responsibilty for our actions.
The 'business' is either legal or it is not. I'm sorry but warning Nigerians against investing is just not enough.
PoliticsRe: Dangote, Others Pull Out Of Kaduna, P-harcourt Refineries' Deal. by angel101(f): 11:05am On Jul 19, 2007
So what? It's just as well since they imagined they were doing the country a favour!
PoliticsRe: Two Lies As Biafra Turns 40 9/7/2007 by angel101(f): 10:26am On Jul 19, 2007
Prizm:
3) It is unconscionable and downright bizarre to commence a large scale extermination of fellow Nigerians (Igbos or people of south-southern origin) because of the actions of a few soldiers. That action served to illustrate that Nigeria was never one or united even if it was politically correct to claim so.

It is time to work together for progress, or as much as I hate to say it, find a way to separate peacefully.
I am quite impressed by your post, more so of the comments in bold.

This is sooooo true.

fromuk:
if the british govt did not let him go the kidnappers in ND will not demand for ransom, they kill any british citizen in ND at first sight. They value a british head more than the entire population of nigeria.
If that was the case, they would have pulled out their troops from Iraq to stop the terrorist attacks.
PoliticsRe: Two Lies As Biafra Turns 40 9/7/2007 by angel101(f): 1:00pm On Jul 18, 2007
From what I understand of the war, it was the North that started the agitation to seceed. But they were cajoled by the British govt to remain because that was the only way they (british) could be sure of benefiting from the natural resources in the country (oil). As it is well known that the colonialists could not govern the country through the south.

CrimeRe: Nigerian Beheaded In Saudi Arabia by angel101(f): 10:40am On Jul 18, 2007
In any case, it has little to do with right or wrong. It is their law! Crime is not right afterall
CrimeRe: Nigerian Beheaded In Saudi Arabia by angel101(f): 10:39am On Jul 18, 2007
babasin:
UK has no death law, yet crime is more in USA than UK!
And that has nothing to do with the size of the country?

Also, Nigeria does not kill armed robbers. (at least not anymore)
CrimeRe: Nigerian Beheaded In Saudi Arabia by angel101(f): 10:12am On Jul 18, 2007
The act is certainly backed by their law. People should choose countries with linient penalties to commit crimes in. wink
