I stand on his solution. Restructuring is the answer. Let the Yorubas, Igbos, Hausas, Ibibios, Ijaws, Ebiras, Benins, Isans etc rule themselves. Let them have control over the natural and human resources under their domains. Let them have control over their security. Let them have control over their education. Let them have control over the commerce and economy etc If the Yorubas decide that it schools they want to be building in their domain that one concern them. If the Igbos decide it is spare parts business the want in their domain that one concern them. If the Hausas decide that it is mosque they want to be building in their domain that one concern them. If the Ijaws decide that it is oil they want to be drinking in their domain that one concern them. Nigeria should be a nation of nations. i.e Hausa nation, Ijaw nation, Itsekiri nation, Yoruba nation, Igbo nation, Isan nation etc all making up Nigeria. pansophist: The solution is simple, it is to restructure Nigeria. And this is something the political class does not want to do because it removes powers from them and gives them to the people. All the problems facing Nigeria right now can be traced to the 1999 fraudulent constitutions that were imposed on the people, Nigerians generally didn't choose it. The same constitution made it impossible for the Igbos to build their seaport in the east without overcrowding Lagos, does not allow governors to build their electrical dam, and also why even lots of Nigerians were ignorant of the Biafran war, if not for the sit-at-home order. Do you think if we practice regionalism, the eastern region wouldn't make it mandatory for their schools to teach about Biafran history?
The constitution is the reason why the governors are slaves to Abuja controlled by the Fulani, it is what gave power to Abuja to remove a sitting governor and replaced it with Hopeless Uzodinma of Imo state, also why Fulani even though making less than 10% of Nigeria's population, dominates every sector of government. Our present constitution is nothing but a feudal, unitarian dictatorship masked under federalism. The same constitution removes power for governors/region to control their resources, police, IGR, leaders, educational policies, etc. Governors are just figureheads, de jure, and lack true, independent, practical power. The enemy is the government, Nigeria is being ruled by terrorists who are anti-Nigerians. That is the problem. |

I agree with everything you said. However, the unitary system of government we use did not start in 1999 with the constitution. It started with Aguiyi Ironsi and his Decree No 34 of 1966, that abolished regionalism. After him Yakubu Gowon continued it with the creation of states. And so on with subsequent military leaders creating more states. If you remember the civilian government of Shehu Shagari was still the same unitary system that we're practising today. There was no thought by any civilian administration from Shehu Shagari, Earnest Shonekan, Olusegun Obasanjo, Musa Yar'Adua, Goodluck Jonathan or Buhari to restore regionalism or change this unitary system of government. pansophist: The solution is simple, it is to restructure Nigeria. Well said Calitoscassius: true, i have had under age girls crush on me always and i am attracted to them but i would not have sex with them or even touch them suggestively or discuss sex with them, though they want to have sex, talk about it and appears to know more about sex than a grown man like me. But still avoided and verbally rejected them, some of them i restrained physically because they tried to touch me innapropriately, they even labelled me gay just because i did respond to their advances. Now if i had succumbed to their juicy temptations I would have been put in jail.
I think the reason he used the term frog is just a way to warn himself that underage girls are not worth the temptations not literally that they are frogs at the age of 15 Or 14 females are ready to concieve and they ussually look more grown up physically than they should be. It has been said that females grow quicker physically than males.
A 15 years old boy would look like his age whereas a 15 years old girl would look about 22 years.
In some countries men are adviced to marry younger women so as to be able to give birth.
In France the age of consent for females is 15 years old. Though France is in Europe. |

I get what you're trying to say about having sex with underage children. But you have it twisted. Since we're both men i would use women to explain what I mean. When girls reach puberty they start developing breasts, their curves start showing, their voice changes etc. Note: puberty in girls starts from between 8 - 13 years in girls. Sometimes earlier. Boys hit puberty around the same time 9 - 14 years. When this happens, boys start noticing girls, girls start noticing boys. They begin to have urges to have sex. These changes that girls are going through is to attract male attention and vice versa. All these are natural. Now to the part of your comment that you have it twisted which is the bolded. You can deny it all you want, but once you see a beautiful underage girl that is going through puberty or has gone through puberty, you would naturally be attracted to herSaying you automatically see a frog is actually laughable. Just say that so far as she is below the age of 18, you would not have sex with her, simple. Trying to deny that you're attracted or that she is ugly or a frog is... So sir, there is nothing wrong in being attracted to a girl that is going through puberty or has gone through puberty but is still underage. It does not make you a paedophile. Having sex with her is a totally different thing, if she is below the age of consent. luminouz: I'm confused with the 'He and She' misuse....the picture is female but the pronouns quiver from male to female and vice versa.
On the story, I guess women also feel somehow for teenagers hovering from 16-17, like some men erroneously condone on NL. The point is, as a yansh man, no matter how big or mature you look and sound as a female, once you are less than 18, I start seeing a frog instead of a female. Nothing will make me touch an underage woman. There is this vulnerability and innocence about them that should be treasured and protected. Same goes for underaged boys..
N.B: Although my point goes for all underaged females and males but the ones I see around here are old in experience. Some as young as 14. Who spoilt them? Poverty, environment and whatever, not ME!!! |

So lord Lugard came from his own continent landed in Africa, and then proceed to impose his own way of thinking on Africans, his own form of government on Africans and when Africans couldn't cope with it because his ways are alien to us he proceeded to define us as animals. You're so happy to regurgitate how a white man defined you. Shey you still believe Mungo park discovered river Niger. Shame on you Sebastine1994: ”In character and temperament” wrote Lord Lugard, “the typical African of this race-type is a happy, thriftless, excitable person. Lacking in self control, discipline, and foresight. Naturally courageous, and naturally courteous and polite, full of personal vanity, with little sense of veracity, fond of music and loving weapons as an oriental loves jewelry .
His thoughts are concentrated on the events and feelings of the moment, and he suffers little from the apprehension for the future or grief for the past . His mind is far nearer to the animal world than the that of the European or Asiatic, and exhibits something of the animals placidity and want of desire to rise beyond the State he has reached.
Through the ages the African appears to have evolved no organized religious creed, and though some tribes appear to believe in a deity, the religious sense seldom rises above pantheistic animalism and seems more often to take the form of a vague dread of the supernatural”
He lacks the power of organization, and is conspicuously deficient in the management and control alike of men or business. He loves the display of power, but fails to realize its responsibility ….he will work hard with a less incentive than most races
. He has the courage of the fighting animal -an instinct rather than a moral virtue……In brief, the virtues and defects of this race-type are those of attractive children, whose confidence when it is won is given ungrudgingly as to an older and wiser superior and without envy…….Perhaps the two traits which have impressed me as those most characteristic of the African native are his lack of apprehension and his ability to visualize the future. |

Autocracy Monarchy Even a combination of the 2, depending on the African country. Democracy as it is currently practised in Africa is a scam and does not suit us, because we're heterogeneous, that is, we're made up of different tribes, languages, cultures, different ways of thinking etc. In such an environment, telling people to vote(choice) is basically a waste of time because, people would vote for their "own". The people being voted for know this, and fan the flames of tribalism, religion etc. emmnprince: I'd like to read the form of government you advocated that suit Africa. |

The bolded, Bingo!! Can your tablet access the internet? If it does then the distraction and temptation would still be there. Anyway its you and your God. But i just wanted to point out that bringing phones or tablets to church despite your intentions, would always leave you distracted, especially when it comes to a part of service you find boring. jaymichael: The congregation I attend (you and I are the church) sell their own hymn book which to me is just a selection of some songs from those old hymn books like "sacred songs and solos" and "Redemption hymnal" (not rccgc's redemption hymnal) I downloaded "GAC GOSPEL HYMN BOOK" and "SACRED SONGS and SOLOS" both contain 99+% of the hymns my church uses. I especially like that former very much because the songs are also in Yoruba and other languages and it has very rich content. The developers try and it is free. The distraction is inevitable with my phone on, but with my tablet alone with me, no distractions as I always put it on AIRPLANE MODE when I am in church. |

Please define paedophilia. You obviously don't know what paedophilia is. Hemaxt: Before you insult me please think about what I'm about to say. I'm not a bad person. I'm a male in my late 20s. I'm a graduate, I have a house and a job. I've dated girls in their 20s. I have no intention to harm anyone.
I'm too ashamed to use my main account to create this thread so I created a new one.
This whole thing started when my nephews and nieces came visiting. My elder sister's kids. Usually they watch Nickelodeon. There is this new show they they enjoy. Danger Force. One day I came to the siting room to join them in watching TV and I saw this girl on the show. I'll post her picture below. At first I acknowledged she was pretty but then I started having an erection. I immediately left the siting room because I didn't feel happy about what jus happened.
Then one day while browsing the internet curiosity made me just Google search the girl and I downloaded some of her pictures. I'm ashamed to say that I've masturbated more than 6 times with this girl's picture. I'm not a pedophile. I've never been attracted to little kids but there is just something about this girl that turns me on. This whole thing is making me uncomfortable and I need advice.
Pls don't judge me, we all have our issues. |

Does your church use hymn apps or hymn books? Does your church use a particular version of the Bible or different versions? You may not use your phone to disturb or distract others, but you it could be distracting to you. It's very easy to say that you're using your phone only phone Bible reading reading and hymns. But it would always be tempting to pull it out to check if someone has replied you on WhatsApp or to check someone's status. jaymichael: It is your phone, your personal property. I take my phone to church which I may use alongside my tablet. I have my bible and hymns app on both. I primarily use the tablet for both hymns and bible reading. If the hymn called isn't in my hymn app on my table, I use my phone to search for the hymn on the Internet. I always put my tablet on AIRPLANE MODE and SILENT/DND. My phone will be on SILENT/DND mode when I am in the church. I won't use the phone to disturb or distract anyone. Romance › Re: 8 Traits Of Strong Men That Women Can't Handle by angelfallz(m): 7:52am On May 28, 2021 |
i'm interested pansophist: 9. Strong men are philosophical.
To properly orient oneself positively into the world, one must have a deep understanding and practical application of life's teachings such as philosophy, spiritualism and being vigilant. A strong man must be a bedrock to those that look up to him, and easily answer, lecture, direct, guide and help them reach salvation, through the abundance of his knowledge.
10. Strong men are lone wolf.
They are never afraid to walk alone, it is where they found peace, and are most productive. Most of the world greatest scientist and philosophers became genius just being alone and observing the world (e.g Albert Einstein with the falling apple, and Frederick Nietszche "god is dead). A man is an antenna that taps current from the universe, and to be alone in nature is his solace, of peace and tranquility.
11. They are purposeful.
Like a wise man once said, "everyone have two lives, and the second one starts the day they realise they have just one". A man living life without a sense of purpose is a shame to life itself, since masculinity shines in doing things, so a man can't be at his peak without a purpose. You won't feel true happiness, will feel irrelevant and be at the mercy and ridicule of others. For a man to feel good, he must know that he is competent in something that magnets the world to him.
