PortHarcourtcit:If he contests, that's his constitutional right... That doesn't concern me, and it's quite irrelevant to what I posted on this topic. Please, stay on topic. |
PortHarcourtcit:You haven't said anything, brother... If you have something meaningful to counter my submission, please bring it forward. Throwing tantrums ought to be beneath anyone with half a brain. |
Makunahatata:Lol... I never said Reno was right or wrong, and neither did I say Obi built schools (check me on that). I have merely wondered why Reno chose to pick on this issue (or even non-issue) of building schools, as though that is an MDG. My belief is all about educating kids... The question is not about building schools, but ensuring the state is academically advantaged. It is not hidden that Education massively improved in Anambra under Peter Obi (Stats don't lie)... If building more schools rather than refurbishing and upgrading the existing ones would have ensured this, don't you think Obi would have done that?!! Trust me... If you wish to paint someone bad, you will find a loophole! If Obi had built schools, Reno would have brought up something equally mundane to make him look bad. The man's (Reno's) mission to bring Obi down is not something new... I find it very amusing. ![]() |
Ttalk:Quick question...! If you are a governor, and your state's education sector is thriving excellently well, would you build more schools when the existing ones are sufficient or put the money into other more pressing things like welfare and empowerment of the citizens?!! |
MeaslesMumpsRub:If the state needs more schools, then build more schools... Personally, I prefer they upgrade the infrastructure of the existing schools and build more hospitals, health centers, and skill acquisition centers rather than pouring scarce resources into projects that are not needed or pressing. At the end of the day, the result matters... What is the outcome?!! Did Kogi state become educationally better than Anambra?!! Last time I checked, Anambra has continued to be a dominant force in the education sector in Nigeria. |
Well, between building new schools that will end up being poorly equipped and staffed, and upgrading existing schools to world standard... I earnestly believe the latter makes more sense. If the state does not need more schools, why waste funds doing such?!! If the pressing need of the state is upgrade and equipment of existing schools, then building more schools becomes akin to white elephant projects and wasting of scarce resources. |
HBB1:Please, don't be stupid. We are talking about national development, not the feelings or wishes of individual citizens. Wishes and optimism or pessimism of a nation's citizens means nothing if the leaders don't deliver. That's why Nigeria remains home to the most optimistic, prayerful, and happy people on Earth, yet their nation continues to slide into the cesspit of corruption and underdevelopment. If blind faith and hope were enough to move a nation forward, Nigeria would be lending money to China and America, not the other way around. This is just a simple fact, but nope... You are more interested in attacking people you perceive as enemies of a country that has never seen sound and technocratic leadership since Independence. You need an education. I have done my best for you. Now, go find someone else to trouble with your silliness. |
Sigh... What exactly is the news here?!! |
Premiumbuy:The only thing poor men can exclusively claim now is water... That one sef don dey leave their hand too. |
Lol... I kuku nor dey watch TV again. They should continue to raise the prices. It's their exclusive right. When Nigerians are sick of their crap, they will boycott the useless capitalists. ![]() |
HBB1:My mother, father, and every one I know prayed and wished Nigeria well for decades...! Nigeria has the highest number of well wishers, prayer warriors, and many more that defend her online and offline. You would know this if you were not too preoccupied with the stupidity of picking fights with the few numbers doing the opposite. So, I ask you... Why has the nation retrogressed so badly for decades?!! Even the current President of the nation as well as his predecessor did exactly what you're foaming in the mouth over... They abused and gaslighted the president back then. Wishes don't develop nor grow nations! This is what I stated earlier. Counter this with facts, and quit being a dull ass. SMH!!! |
Just watch... APC supporters will come and ask you whether you must eat garri. ![]() |
HBB1:You sound very dull, and you've the guts to call me daft?!! So, evil people only exist in 3rd world nations?!! What exactly has the wishes of everyone in a nation got to do with good leadership?!! Till date, there are supporters of Trump that speak ill of Biden and America... Research instead of rushing to defend aimlessly. Tinubu has been voted and elected into office... What's the business of the good and bad citizens with the economic decisions he makes in that sensitive office?!! Maybe haters of Nigeria among the citizens are the ones padding budgets, and siphoning billions meant for welfare of citizens. Instead of you dimwits to focus your energies on those directly and indirectly in charge of transforming the fortunes of this nation, you are more concerned about image and other frivolities. Abeg don't ever quote me with such nonsense and obtuse talk again. SMH. |
ozo13:In advanced economies, wishes mean nothing...! Incorruptible and technocratic leaders with vision push their nations and citizens into realms of massive development. Till tomorrow, there are many citizens of America, UK, Canada, China, Russia, etc, who wish their nations evil... But, they keep soaring. It reeks of misplaced emotions to gaslight your fellow citizens for wishing Nigeria evil rather than wondering why those directly involved in setting the nation right keep failing in their responsibilities. |
I never wan talk sha...! Still giving Tinubu and his not-too-bright supporters the benefit of doubt. One thing is for sure... Time reveals all things! Propaganda can only take a government so far. It's a lot harder to hide the truth these days compared to a decade ago. |
santaclaws:Yeah... But, mass shootings and gun-related violence, worse than what obtains in America, will be the order of the day. |
bluefilm:Nah... Spurs shall collect wotowoto. ![]() |
erai30:Last night was not a fluctuation... It was a CRASH! ![]() |
Chelsea's worst defeat to Arsenal since like forever...! Over to Brighton and Everton to help Gunners tonight and tomorrow night. ![]() Arsenal can still lift this title...! Impossible is nothing. If Xabi Alonso could do it with Bayer, why not Arteta with a better team?!! |
The only person an appointed official should be loyal to ought to be the one who appointed him...! |
Honestly, most of you people in Nigeria are sitting on a landmine. The future is looking more and more hopeless with the kind of young people many of you are raising. |
LadyExcellency:Lol...! Keep believing everything the media sells you. ![]() |
Reno Omokri is an idiot that is best ignored. He and FFK are birds of identical plumage...! They thrive on attention. Peter Obi knows this format well enough to ignore him since last year. If only Obi's supporters and other intelligent Nigerians can do the same...! He will go broke in a year. ![]() |
God1000:Can you name one nation on Earth that America has ever helped foster peace and rapid development?!! Just one. America and UK are the biggest leaches and parasites in History. |
Congrats321:Watched?!! You mean "Supported"! Lol. |
Well, this is not news...! The real news is Tinubu looking lost and shocked about the state his predecessor left the nation in. A predecessor he sponsored and supported into office. Oh well... It's his mess to clean up or worsen now. For Naija's sake, I just hope he really knows what he is doing in that office. If he fails... Nigeria is gone for good! |
In summary... Mr. President is on vacation. ![]() |
garfield1:The thing is... Whatever Arsenal can do to any team, Man City is more than likely to do better. Losing to Villa was the worst mistake they have made all season. |
flexyrule:Money Laundering...!!! Issokay! Say no more! ![]() |
Hope Uzodinma should be welcoming him by next month into APC...! ![]() |
flexyrule:Yeah... Kai Havertz clearly heard you loud and clear, and decided to give a robust response to that criticism. ![]() Meanwhile, your team has stopped defending o! With 20 minutes left, the goals fit reach 7. ![]() |
Kai Havertz truly came back to haunt his former club...! ![]() Na now Pochettino wan make changes... Even Sterling doesn't look like he wants to even play this disgraceful match. Arsenal should finish them off with one more goal jare. The idiots beat Everton by the same margin and felt they had arrived! Shiorr! |
